I'll have to check it out next time! So instead I ordered the burger at medium patty but it came out medium well. They had swapped it with my friend's who ordered no tomato and medium well. Medium well felt dry to me, next time will check the patty if it's don't correctly. French fries were good, crispy, and had a nice shape that looked like annually cut potato wedges but looked like the shape of fries They were out of other entrees that night, so definitely wanna come back to try what was sold out. Last time we went to Uncle Bucks before a bucks game we were ignored by service staff. It was busy but not over the top. We found a seat at the bar and waited for over 20 before leaving. The staff was behind the bar either talking, checking phones, or working with dishes. They rarely were checking on customers. Chips and salsa was solid. Salsa was a little on the sweet side and could have used some heat. The jerk tacos were real good. I ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna Po Boy for $16.95 Blackened ahi tuna, cajun mayo, Andouille bacon, lettuce, tomato & house made pickles served with Carolina slaw. It was a large tasty sandwich, the blackening was mild. Seasoned fries or side salad accompanies. They do have home made ranch dressing. Great place to watch sports -they played the sound on a big football championship game which was nice. We got a couple of drinks and delicious food too. Let me start off by saying this was one of the worst bars/restaurant I have ever been to. The host which apparently is also the manager was incredibly rude. While sitting at the bar we were completely ignored by the 2 bartenders there, while they were both on their phones. Food was mediocre, food was cold and very under cooked. The costumer service was amazing last time we we came(about a year and a half ago) its sad to see a business go down like this, and all because of the customer service. Time for a refresh. Met some friends for dinner a few nights ago, and we were blown away by most of the dishes we shared. For being a sports bar, most of the menu items exceed the expectations of "bar food." We ordered their cheese curds, which were recommended by our server Emily (she was great, btw!) and added the Duck Nachos and Bacon-wrapped Venison meatballs which are two items we normally don't find on menus in town, let alone sports bar menus. They use a combination of dyed (cheddar-color) and undyed (white) cheese curds, and the batter ratio was solid, as was our cheese pull. The Duck Nachos are made with crispy wonton chips and topped with peppers, cheese, and pieces of mandarin orange, which seems unusual (and it is), but think about it...the French put orange and duck together in Duck L'orange, so it is already a proven pairing, and it works well with the wonton chips and peppers! The meatballs were served in a Romesco sauce with fresh sauteed mushrooms and baguette, so you could build a second appetizer putting the mushrooms amd Romesco on the baguette! Super good combo appetizer with good texture and seasoning in the meatballs! For entrees, we ordered the Smokehouse burger, Truffle Mac-n-Cheese, Blackened Ahi Tuna Po'boy, and Spinach, Pancetta, and Brussels sprouts salad. Again, burger and mac-n-cheese are common sports bar menu items, but definitely not Blackened Ahi Tuna and this amazing salad! The po'boy was topped with crispy Andouille bacon and Cajun mayo. It might have been my favorite dish, definitely the dish I was most plesantly surprised by! The Smokehouse burger was topped with crispy bacon AND tender smoked brisket! We ordered it medium, and it was perfectly cooked to order, which rarely happens when I order burgers anywhere. The Truffle Mac-n-Cheese was perfectly balanced, so the truffle was subtle and not overpowering. You have the option to add grilled chicken, shrimp, salmon, ahi tuna, or bacon for a small upcharge. We didn't add a protein. The sandwiches and cheese curds come with fries, and they're some of the best fries I've ever had - like EVER! They are hand-cut, or fresh-cut, whichever term you prefer, but they have a unique shape and they are pefectly seasoned, and crisp with a soft center, and I could eat a basket of them with nothing else and be very happy! My friends agreed. Everything was delicious, and we all agreed we would return to try more menu items, such as their wings and chicken and butternut squash crepe! If you are looking for a great place to host your next event Uncle Bucks on 3rd is fantastic. Look no further. I reviewed close to 30 places to find the perfect spot that could accommodate up to 150 people and check all the boxes we were looking for. They hit the mark on all. The second floor and roof top more than handled our group. The space was free with a set minimal spend. And they met the budget. It allowed for an amazing buffet with fantastic food. Allowed us to utilize audio and visual as well as have our requested raffle table and check in table for name tags and mini gifts and ability to use directory boards and more. They are simply amazing and I would highly recommend them for your next event. Mike the owner was awesome to work with and was top notch with communication and accommodating all of our specific needs without additional expenses. Food: 9/10 first time eating here and got the wonton nachos. Highly recommend. The mandarin oranges were a welcome addition to the games at play and the wonton chips were light, yet crispy. They also have a pretty good beer list. Cocktail list is smaller, but you can ask for any of the classics. Service: 9/10 we got served pretty quickly and didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waitress also recommended the nachos and she was on point with those. Ambiance: 9/10 definitely a cool spot. I've only seen the downstairs, but it is a multilevel building. It's pretty big and had some good Halloween decorations. There was also a claw machine with white claws in it called "Claw for Claw", which was funny. Great atmosphere at uncle bucks! We came to watch the Packers and although they didn't start serving food until 12 once we ordered our food came out super quick. Uncle bucks had kind of a 19th century hunting lodge meets water st bar motif (if that's a thing) but overall I really liked it. It is pretty standard bar type fare but their fries had an "everything but the bagel" type spice mixture on them which really made em stand out. The three floors always impress- even out of towners from big cities. Definitely an underrated spot among locals. The new menu is also super good with some old favorites on it too. I wish I could give a solid review but honestly the bar doesn't seem to know how to get food to a table in less than 90 minutes. We sat around waiting on our food with an hour before our event and didn't even get our appetizers. The waiter was good enough to promise us drinks that never appeared, but that did little to assuage the hunger we couldn't sate with imaginary food. All in, go to this place if you have a day to kill and don't mind waiting 45 min for a table and not eating for another 60 min. Pic is of my empty patio because it was as fulfilling as our food that never showed. Ignore the ridiculous response from the owner as it does not even give respect to the fact that we didn't receive our food at all. There was zero opportunity to even try food and I had to ask them to cancel the bill and charge us for the drinks we actually received. Seriously we were promised a second round that we never received. Still barely made it to our venue and hungry as fug. Chick fil A for the win. Michael, since it seems you would prefer to carry this conversation out and attempt to clear your name by attempting to defame me since I shared a polite description of your wait staff, let me explain to you clearly what happened. We arrived before 6pm and were told we had a wait. We got some beers on the rooftop, which was crowded but nice enough. We got seated and didn't see our waiter for a bit. We watched other tables sat after us get service much faster than we did. We ordered three meals and two appetizers. We never saw the appetizers at all. In fact, we only had a total of 4 table touches from your staff in the hour we sat there. We ordered one last drink and tried to speed the process up by paying for our food, without even having seen any of it. We had hoped to at least be able to power through it quickly enough to make the show. After another 20 min without the ordered drink or even the waiter returning, I had to ask your hostess to find the waiter so we could just pay for the drinks we actually got so we could leave and make it to our show. Your email to me stated that you lost your head chef and you aren't able to find help because no one shows up for interviews since unemployment has them at home. I can't imagine anyone in the hospitality industry would feel it's acceptable to not even serve the appetizers in an hour. To me these sound like issues that you should solve for before worrying about one review. Yes some people base their opinions off of reviews and an honest review that our service was terrible is precisely that, an honest review. I won't paint you in a negative light because I don't have to, the service we received was horrendous and not one employee offered a manager or anything other than a discount on the items we actually did receive. What we did get though was someone trouncing a review and attempting to shame the customer that posted it. It seems defensive to me, but maybe you just care about your business that much. Maybe we just caught a worst possible outcome and your place is amazing normally. Stopped by here for dinner with a friend. We sat at the bar where we were served by Ava, a very friendly and knowledgeable bartender! We ordered a few beers from their generous tap list before we decided on dinner. I ordered the Friday Fish Fry and my friend ordered the Cauliflower Curry, per Ava's recommendations. The fish fry was crispy and cooked perfectly. The fish was paired with all of the classic sides: homemade coleslaw, golden brown french fries, and rye bread and butter. My friend's order was a large cauliflower steak smothered in a delicious curry sauce and topped with peanuts and cilantro that provided a nice fresh flavor. We were both very pleased!
