Have been trying to get into this place for years only to find it closed so today I called again and someone picked up the phone and said the kitchen is open so I stopped by for a cocktail and some lunch to go. The place had 0 people in it except the staff. My service was ok and fast because I was the only person in the place. The bartender had personality of a pet rock. The place is total Wi neighborhood dive bar which looked like a second bar was in the back. I ordered a Milwaukee cheesesteak with chez whiz to go that comes with frys and a Gin Rickey. The ambience was a loud baseball game. The cheesesteak looked a little Small but it was loaded with chez whiz that I was able to have cheese frys buy dipped my frys into pool of chez whiz. The frys were the crinkle cut that I despise but they were actually good because they were hot cooked to order with a seasoned crispy shell and soft center. Overall was it the best cheesesteak, no and average at best but it was cheesy and if that was my local bar it would definitely hit spot with having to go somewhere else or door dash. read more

What a trash venue. My large family was in there for Karaoke the Friday after Thanksgiving to get together and have some fun. My 79 year old father misplaced his wedding ring. It was found and then held hostage as the bartender asked, "what's in it for me?" WTF? When my father asked what would be acceptable, this sorry excuse for a human being replied "$150". My father is not confrontational. It's a good thing I didn't find out about this until well after the fact, because I am confrontational. After my family spent several hundred dollars eating and drinking there, this jerk couldn't decently return the ring to my father. NEVER AGAIN! read more

The Rounding Third experience is one that is breathtaking. You have many options of things to do whether it is going to comedy open mics on Sundays at 7:30PM and 8:30 on Thursdays, ordering good food (Definitely suggest their cheese steak to all newcomers) or felling a sense of community by chatting with the bar staff and the locals that slide into the facility. I had been in here a few times when I have visited Milwaukee. The food is really good, but the beer selection does leave a bit to be desired. There are a lot of great microbrews in Wisconsin, and it would be great to see a few more of them on the menu. I hear that they've recently started having stand-up comedy shows there too. If I could give 0 starts I would. The absolute worst place to go. We went for a nice evening out. They were doing Karaoke so we thought, what fun! Well the bar was very empty, but yet service was so slow. If you participated in the karaoke you received a ticket for a free shot. Awesome, we all thought. We all did karaoke each doing at least 3 song, since it was dead. Got free shot tickets, took shots. Well it came time to leave after a couple of hour. None of us had food, we had a few drinks and "free" shots. My husband and I were on one tab, our two friends on another tab. Our tab was $150 and our friends also had a $150 dollar tab. WTF. Not only were we charged for shots, but we were charged for double drinks and not getting doubles. We had beers and white claw. My husband did have some poured drinks, but not $150 dollars worth. When confronting the bar tender he became belligerent with us females. What a rip off! If I wanted to spend that kind of money at a bar, I would have went to the steak house across the street. Also the place smells like literal crap. Do not go here it's not worth it!! I go out often enough around the area to know, never, NEVER have I ever spent that kind of money at a bar. read more

Bar service is very slow, owner too busy with eating or his friends...no A/C and place was hot and humid! Looking around behind the bar, not very clean, doesn't take much to wipe things down but apparently they don't care. Even watched him pouring alcohol from one bottle to another.... The initial attraction was that Rounding Third is close and their shuttle to the ballpark. Surprise for a funky neighborhood bar the pizza was very respectable and the service was very friendly. We stopped here for a late night dinner last week. It was not bad, but nothing great either. I had heard the wings were good, so we ordered two orders. Each order has 10, and they are $9 per order?! Bleu cheese dressing was also an extra charge. I though that was a bit much. The wings are fried, and then seem to be finished on a grill. They have some good flavors to choose from, and we opted for buffalo and spicy barbecue. Both sauces were good, and aside from the price, we were happy with the wings. My wife got a wrap that was average. She is not eating meat these days, and she asked for avocado on the wrap, which was forgotten. The wrap was basically like a seven layer salad in a tortilla. It came with buffalo fries which are good, though there is no buffalo flavor. Our servers were both very nice, friendly, and attentive. The bar had some good fall beers to choose from. I have heard they have a good fish fry, so that might bring me back some Friday. Probably a fun place to go for a game, but I would not call it a destination restaurant. read more

Not prepared. With Wisconsin in the final four not having enough servers on to handle the crowd is disappointing. Pizza was decent and wings were good. But no red pepper and hardly any Parmesan. We luckily came early and got a decent table in the back room. They needed at least two more servers on to make this a more positive experience. Without them they are losing money as we aren't ordering as many drinks with service being slow. Also our empty plates sat on our tables long after we were done eating. Server that was on did good with what she could since she was the only one. Also they stopped serving pitchers when we all were drinking the same thing. Would come back here again but would only on a slow night. They are not prepped for crowds. read more

Best Bar Food. Hands down. Am completely addicted to their burgers (Black and Bleu!) and their Pizza and Fish Fry rock my husband's socks. Staff is super friendly and efficient, and will always put whatever sporting event you're interested in on one of the multiple flat screens (they are plentiful given the small-ish space of the front bar) Standard for bars in this area, there is a complimentary shuttle to Brewer's games. Last year there was even a limo! Drinks are strong, and specials abound, but prices are a little bit higher than other Bluemound bars. Totally worth it IMO. read more

First person omniscient. there I was entering this bar. Pretty awesome bar, the night was going well we were coming off a 3rd place trivia night victory at chumleys pub (also awesome) and then karaoke night started at rounding third. This group of 3 bros and a beautiful auburn haired girl started to sing man of constant sorrow by the soggy bottom boys. She had an angel voice. They all did. They were way into it and two of the bros wearing real high packers hats leaned in and killed the backup vocals. "In constant sorrrooooowwww all through his days!!!" I swear they must have actually been the soggy bottom boys or the djs equipment was just that good. Everyone in the bar was excited and in a great mood. Overall bar attitude was 9/10. Partly due to the fact that jay cutler and his diabetic not cannon arm and the Swiss cheese bears defense/playoff hopes were about to be crushed by Aaron Rodgers and his island of injured misfit toys supporting cast the following day. A great baseball bar with comedy and a male heavy dominated bar. I dd not see chicks at tall the night I went as the place was packed with bro dudes talking comedy and baseball while watching the NBA playoffs. An over all cool bar appearance with two desperate sections and the food was highly unexpectedly better than form the loos of this place. This bar can easily fit in Chicago's Lincoln Park wrigelyville area and was a cool hidden male hetrosexual bonding place which often has comedy Sunday Nights. read more

The best thing about this place is that it offers a free shuttle to and from Miller Park. It's a non-standard sports bar with a decent restaurant in the back, and sufficient TVs everywhere that even if you're in the restaurant area you have a good view of whatever games are on. The food is good and service attentive. They even give you drinks in glasses you can take along for the ride to watch the Brewers play. Given the plentiful free parking in the neighborhood, and the priority exit for the shuttles, their service is a welcome departure from the hour it would normally take to escape the ballpark after a normal game. read more

Rounding Third easily has some of the best bar food in Milwaukee. Their Guinness Barbecue Burger is fantastic, as well as their nachos. The nachos had a combination of your traditional nacho cheese as well as melted cheddar, and they were baked golden brown to perfection. This place is very chill, and the bartenders and servers are all very cool. Our server went out of his way to give 2 recommendations for improv comedy classes, after he overheard my girlfriend and I talking about taking an improv class. I really wish I could have given Rounding Third a better review, but I live in the neighborhood, and I have to say their drinks are too pricey for this area. The beer selection is quite limited too. My girlfriend ordered a Redd's Apple Ale, which was $5.50. My Louie's Demise was $6. Considering both beers are brewed in Milwaukee, I thought those prices were a little steep. I know...I'm a cheapskate...But when I can get a pitcher of beer a couple blocks away for $5.75 everyday, I feel I have the right to complain. read more

Moved near Miller Park a few months back and found this place was a short walk from my aparment. Been here half a dozen times already for the shuttle to games, and to watch. Plenty of TVs. Awesome wings, nachos and burgers. Draft selection is decent -- in addition to the staples, also have MKE brewing co, Franciskaner (sp?), spotted cow, Leinenkugels and Lakefront Riverwest (hands down favorite). Was at Rounding Third for a Union meeting recently and a bunch of the guys stuck around afterward to get over it. This is a great bar for a guys night out. The beer is cold, the wings are solid and there are a lot of tv's and video games around to keep you drunkenly busy. Our favorite part was the "how hard can you punch" machine. I love this bar. A great neighborhood bar with friendly bartenders. I go here once a month mainly for a few beers and to watch a game or sing some karaoke. For the first time a week ago I decided to just go for dinner. I had the Southwest Black Bean Chili Burger and it was absolutely perfect. The chili wasn't messy either. They put on the right amount. Met up with friends to take the brewer game shuttle. From the outset I knew my skin color offended many, especially the waitstaff. After 5 mins and realizing he could no longer ignore me, the bartender took my order. I asked for a coke and he asked me if it was to go. Ha! After just walking through the door. After getting my coke I waited for my friends. They eventually came and we went into the back room. We decided to get food so we went back up front to place an order. We stood in front of the bar for 20 minutes while bartenders and waitstaff just walked right by without asking our order. I then attempted to flag one of the bartenders down who was standing three feet away and he flat out ignored me. My friend Doug joked that they were racist. What happened was not racism because they did not deny me service what happened was actually discrimination because they obviously did not want to serve anyone standing with the African American man. I eventually stood up and got in the face of the bartender and told him that my friends wanted to order food and I wanted to close out my bill. They seemed confused by this request. This place might be ok for some but they are obviously bigoted Caucasian people who are afraid of anything different from what they know or understand. It is truly unfortunate that ignorant people operate businesses in this manner. I think I'll come back with my Norwegian wife very soon just to piss them off. We'll drink cokes and play pool all night. Also: the only person who would doubt the truth in this review is someone who has NEVER experienced racism or discrimination! read more

One of our absolute favorites. Some of the best "bar food" you will find in Milwaukee. Bartenders have always been very friendly in our experience. Didn't like this place. Service was irritating and food was bad. Potato salad had half cooked potatoes and a funky flavor. Charged me 6 bucks for 2 iced teas (1 was a refill) and the sandwich I ordered was just dry bread and a bit of meat, nothing else. Waitress acted like I was bothering here just by having to take our order and when we didn't eat even half our food didn't seem concerned that something was wrong and brought our check at same time she brought our food. I have both been the DJ/KJ in the back dinning room and a customer for karaoke night in the bar. You know its awesome if I am taking my time off and my earned dollars and spending them. The staff always treats us and those with us with respect and a smile. I tell everybody coming in from out of town to make sure to stop by and check it out. I'm not sure where to begin, but essentially Rounding Third will never see another dime of my money again. We had them host our rehersal dinner because we wanted a laid back atmosphere. Before the event, we would go there on numerous occasions to support his business (Being very generous!!!). When we arrived, nothing was set up......there were people in the room WE RESERVED, and the 25 pizzas we ordered were not started (had reserved at 7 pm....arrived at 7:15 pm)........Tim was working the front bar with another bartender........Not only did he roll his eyes at every complaint we had, he suggested that we wanted 1 SERVER for 80 people........1 SERVER.......i don't know how 1 server can get food and drinks for 80 people........He was a complete a**hole, and can't believe any business owner would treat a customer like that...I regret how much money he earned from us that weekend, and wish we could have given it to a better establishment.....I could go on, but I will just leave it at that.... P.S. I support local businesses, and never want to hurt them, but this experience was so bad, I couldn't help but ensure that no one else ever have an experience like we had...... read more

Tasty food and drinks! This is a place you can get a great walleye dinner and stay all night having fun with friends. Don't worry if you're hungry again by the time midnight rolls around (which you probably won't because the walleye portion is HUGE) don't worry- there's free Rounding Third pizza! This place is horrible!! I will never set foot in there again. I have gone in there several times for lunch and drinks and everything was always mediocre. I went in there the other day representing a local charity to see if they would be willing to donate a 20 dollar gift certificate. I took my daughter (biracial) who just turned 21 and her friend (biracial) who is almost 22 here and u could feel the racism from the moment we walked in the door. I went to the bar to order our drinks and the owner/bartender made me collect the ids from each person I was with and after I did and he saw that we were all of age he refused to serve us.
