I like the healthier more savory/rustic ones with mushrooms and spinach. Getting these makes me think I am eating something healthy. Nice to see a small business that not all friends and family only have given 5 star rating on facebook ... have a hard time with businesses such as that. Well on to the food! This is one of those places you wonder hmmm should I try it out or not? It is small but I keep finding out that the smaller places truly have some of the best eat treats around. The crepes were good. There is variety which makes it more worthwhile and the need to go back and try more. The coffee is coffee which is fine by me. A true Barista can make those fine cups of coffee one craves. It wasn't bitter and full of coffee grinds which is all I require. I will go back because the wait for the crepe is worth every bite! read more

I went here on Mother's Day, around 9:30. I knew it would be crowded due to the day, however I was not expecting the disorganization I encountered. I have never been, there was no one to greet me, or explain that I had to order first. The servers were overwhelmed and saw we walked in and ignored us!! Once we realized the process, we waited in the line. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, we placed our order decided to have carry out. I was disappointed I wanted a nice breakfast out, once we said carry out we were informed it was an hour wait!!! Once I showed my disappointment, the lady making the crepes (only two crepe griddles) snapped back that there were a lot of people ahead of us!! I understand that, however that should of been what was said BEFORE we ordered!!! read more

I love this place! The baristas are friendly, the place very cozy and inviting, and their drinks are great! I've been living in Brunswick for about two years and never new this place existed until a month ago. Since then I've been back at least 3 times a week. Much better than Starbucks! Besides the normal coffee house menu they also have smoothies and milkshakes. A couple of the times I went there they were just taking fresh baked cookies out of the oven. Of course I had to indulge! The bathrooms are beautiful and very clean. The murals on the walls are very nice and they have comfortable couches to relax and read a book. read more

Arrived shortly before 9:30 am on a Saturday; they had only been open for about 30 minutes. The cashier never greeted me - just stood at the register waiting for me to place my order. The place is acoustically terrible as it was hard to hear her over the crowd noise. Ordered 2 crepes (The Big Show and the Banana Split) and 2 coffees. Total bill was $23 which seemed a little high. We got a table and our coffees came shortly thereafter. However, we had to ask about the status of our food after 45 minutes. The wait was toooo long. Food came 7 minutes later. It breakfast - it can't possible take that long to prepare orders. And if the wait will consistently be that long the staff should advise guests how long the wait is for food. Noticed that guests who came in after us were served before we were which is completely annoying. Overall the crepes were just OK. They were huge (so a good sized portion) but the options are a little too traditional. Suggest the owner think outside the box on ingredients outside eggs, spinach, meat, etc. The Banana Split crepe had too much nutella in it - it was too sweet and I had to scrape most of it off. Not enough fruit in the crepe.The staff (outside the cashier) were helpful, pleasant, and attentive. Do not plan to go there again. I just don't have that much time to wait for a crepe. We are new to the area and were looking for a good place to have breakfast, based on the reviews we decided to try Kelly's Cafe. We drove over 22 miles one way to get there, stood in line to order for about 5 minutes (couple in front of us were indecisive), when we approached the register to order, before we could say a word, we were told that it would take at least 45 minutes to be served (food to be ready). We were baffled as the cafe was not full, there were places to sit, no line going out the door. We've dined at many restaurants in the US and outside and this was a first for us. Gigantic crepes filled with any fruit or meat combo you could want. The food was great. The atmosphere is that of a hip coffee shop with art for sale on the walls. Breakfast for 7 with frappe's and juices all around was still under $10/ person. Wish we found it sooner. read more

We just shared a delightful lunch at Kelly's Cafe! Started with the cafe salad - bibb lettuce, goat cheese, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges, pecans. Then the veggie crepe with mushrooms, spinach, onions, peppers. And then the cinnamon apple crepe with cream cheese, pecans, and whipped cream. Highly recommended. Owner is extremely sweet and friendly. Atmosphere is very cozy, mellow and quiet, but not over quiet where you don't have the privacy to chat with a pal. I found it to be perfect to sit down and have coffee and study, or chill and have a chat with my wife. Could be ideal spot to hit in order to get out of the house, have a treat, and relax with a book or laptop. Wireless internet is quick and free. Coffee always fresh and tasty. Smoothies are amazing, and very healthy. They're basically made of fresh fruit combos, OJ, and optional yogurt. What a smoothie should be. None of the other sweetener or junk most other smoothie places use. My wife loves the frozen yogurt here. It is made by some local, well known company... Mitchel's, I think? Anyway, I have tried it and it is ridiculously good, just not my thing. I try to stay away from sweets as much as possible. But I will say, I have seen the fresh crepes being made for other customers, and they are a true test of my self control. They look amazing. I will probably have to put self control on hold on one of my next visits so i can get down with one of those crepes. Prices are on par with any other place you would go get ice cream, smoothies, coffee and that sort of stuff. Trust me when I say you need to try this place. I guarantee u will be back a second time, and a third, etc. Take this from somebody that doesn't write reviews often. I only review when I fell something/someplace really, really deserves it. Great crepes, friendly atmosphere. I get really frustrated when I read reviews about having to wait for a delicious meal. This is NOT a fast food joint people! You are getting fresh-served savory food in a really cool, comfortable atmosphere. Kelly's is the kind of place you go to relax and live in the moment for an hour or so of your day. It's kind of like cheers, minus the alcohol. If there is a wait, Kelly will always let you know when you order so you can make the decision whether you want to stay or not. Very cool atmosphere, beyond friendly people. If you are looking for fast-food people...go to McDonalds, but I guarantee you will not get such a delicious meal it nearly as friendly and comfortable atmosphere. What a hidden find! Did a Yelp search on Saturday morning and wasn't disappointed. So unassuming, yet so local/genuine. A very cozy and welcoming environment indeed. Came with my dad and had the Big Show and Ms P's savory crepes. Outstanding!! Enjoyed meeting Kelly and her father. Watched the whole show unfold, chatted, and met a new friend.
