Pro Tip: Heated patio available I stopped by at Tutti Frutti Mix after so much social media hype. The place was just ok, nothing amazing. No aspect of it especially impressed me. Just a little laidback eatery. The eatery is located in West Park with street parking (complicated to find parking). This cozy spot blends savory Mediterranean flavors with indulgent dessert options (crepes with various toppings). The entrance is through covered heated patio that has cute flowers hanging from the ceiling. The outdoor area has a lot of tables. Inside has only a few booths, and a lot of Nutella buckets. The latter is fun! I ordered my order to go but peeked inside the boxes before leaving. Gyro Sandwich with fries (extra charge) had a lot of meat, but was very light on the sauce. Fries were too salty and over-fried. It wasn't the best gyro that I experienced. I also ordered pistachio crepe with strawberry and Nutella. The crepe was made to order and you could watch the prep process. I'm pretty sure this crepe was Dubai chocolate inspired but it had very faint pistachio taste which dulled it. It had too much chocolate and was ok. There were also ice cream choices but I didn't try them. I had much better Middle Eastern food in the area. Food order was made quickly though which was a plus. Think of it as Middle Eastern fast food. The place had signs that if you ask for your food to go then dine in, there's a special $4 charge. The place was pretty busy considering it was Saturday a little after 9 PM. The service wasn't too friendly. I had to repeat my order multiple times and the response was - "what?" Just wasn't warm or welcoming. Overall, I'd recommend this place only if you're in the area and coming home from the bars. I've only had dessert here, so I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but if you're looking for a unique sweet treat, this is the place to come to! Located in Lakewood, parking is on the street. The shop has an insulated and heated indoor patio as well as a few booths inside the actual shop. The location specializes in shawarma, as well as crepes, Belgian waffles, and ice cream, and Dubai Chocolate. The first time we came here, my husband and I split the Lotus Crepe and a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries, Nutella and white chocolate with Oreo ice cream. Both desserts were excellent and decadent but we both enjoyed the crepe the best. The next week we came back and again split a Lotus crepe with lotus ice cream and a fudge cake crepe. Again, both were excellent but we still liked the lotus crepe the best. Both times we asked about the Dubai chocolate and both times they were sold out. This place is worth the drive to enjoy these unique and delicious desserts. I did ask, and all food in their entire restaurant is Halal with the exception of one ice cream flavor that has marshmallows in it. They also carry specialized coffee drinks and Turkish coffee. Give this place a try on your next date night or night out with friends or family. There is something for everyone and everything is great! read more

Had date night dessert at Tutti Frutti Mix last night. I was glad we came. The restaurant had a charming ambiance with a heated porch area, a wall with positive vibes, and eclectic decorations. I got a Lotus Crepe and my wife got a Belgian Waffle with a scoop of ice cream. Both were delicious. We stopped by for the first time between a wedding ceremony and reception after seeing a positive review from a local food blogger on Instagram. We were excited to try the Turkish coffee, which in the video is featured being made right in front of the customer... Upon entering, I almost did not want to order due to the restaurant being absolutely filthy. Quite honestly, I'm not sure I've ever been in a more visibly dirty restaurant. My shoes stuck to the floor, cobwebs overhead, dust along the counters, dirty dishes,.. you name it. Nonetheless, we ordered a Turkish coffee and waited over 10 minutes for it to be made (in the back) and handed to us in a paper cup. We drove 15 minutes to the wedding reception without being able to take a sip because it was literally boiling. One sip and in the trash. Wasn't overly impressed with the food - perhaps if we had desserts we would have fared better - I mean how could you go wrong with prepackaged ice cream!!! I was really turned off when i went to write a Google review and saw the owners asking the writer of a negative review to take the review down because it wasn't positive! Visited here for the first time for lunch. I like the color scheme and neon signs. The menu was all over the place and confusing. I feel like sticking with desserts would probably be better suited for this place. I got the fattoush and it was good. My husband got the wings and they were ice cold in the middle, so we just ending up throwing them away. They even looked soggy and gross too. Always great to see fresh businesses open in the area. I stopped in, unfortunately after eating a half hour prior, to see what they have to offer. I regret being full when I went. I saw plates of food come out that made my eyes say yes when my stomach said no, not right now. The plates I saw were the BBQ and the potato tornado. I will have to get that next time for sure. I ordered the fresh mango juice which was very delicious. You even get some pulp and tiny pieces of mango in it which I think added to the flavor. I also got some ice cream for my step son that I tasted and it was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and I enjoy the conversations. It was a very enjoyable experience. This place is awesome, from the name of the establishment, whimsical display of artwork, the friendless of the staff, down to the food. I called as soon as they opened and guess what? They were there and didn't mind me placing an order. I originally thought a shawarma was similar to a tortilla to which one of the owners (?) politely explained it was not. And he was absolutely correct. Upon arrival not only was the food hot, ready and tasty, but the fries were so flavorable I ate them right up and I don't eat that much - but I reluctantly saved the shawarma until the next day and it still was very good. All of this is excellent but what stood out to me most was that when I purchased; the store didn't have enough change so they allowed me to take the money in their register and come back for change although I already had my meal. I'm a woman of color so that was special to me. If I could I'd rate Tutti Frutti mix a 10 but I'll settle for a 5. Don't hesitate to go! read more

This is such a wonderful addition! So nice to have a place for either mood- food or sweets. Reasonable prices. The crepe is one of the best I've had in Cleveland and I definitely will come back to try the waffles. The sandwiches are a good portion size and don't feel too heavy of a meal. Loved the seasoning on the fries. The interior is really cute and lively, much needed brightness for the area. Service was friendly and pretty prompt even when they were busy.
