I've come here several times by myself and with friends to know that this is a solid choice for brunch, baked goods, and/or lattes. Favorites include their savory baked goods and cookies When it comes to lattes, so far I've liked their cinnamon brown sugar, and seasonal matchas (the coconut matcha a couple months back was good). It's good as dine-in (plenty of seating inside and outside, though still quite full on the weekends) and as take-out. Plenty of free parking available in a lot. Staff are friendly. Also last month I tried their restaurant week special (includes latte, panini, and choice of cookie or macaron). Ended up choosing the brown sugar latte (opted for oat milk), corned beef panini and gingerbread molasses cookie. All were good, the favorite and definitely would get again would be the latte. Also if you use the too good to go app, I love their bags (such a good variety with amazing value) which sell out in minutes. Definitely in my list of regular places to stop by. read more

It's been a while since I've been back but this place hasn't changed one bit. Got the seasonal snowbelt mocha and the maple pecan sticky bun. The sticky bun is just as good as I remembered it to be. It's a huge serving tbh with a solid coating of frosting. Would highly recommend. The space itself is a little loud and chaotic but there is a ton of natural lighting, making it a perfect place to be on a nice day. read more

The sugar cookie and bundlet cake were not very good but the macarons were. It looks like a local favorite. There are a lot of seating options, both indoor and outdoors. A little pricy but when you want to splurge on a Sunday morning get their pastries! The fig pastry is AMAZING!

First timer here! The area is under construction, but luckily, the businesses are open. The workers were very welcoming. The menu boards are big and easy to read. I chose a half and half panini and soup. I chose the tuna sandwich and roasted tomato soup. I chose a mousse dessert that I was told was chocolate and peanut butter. All desserts were labeled except this one, which is why i asked. It was not, and it was super rich. I would not get it again unless I was sharing with someone, perhaps. The dining area was homely, and patrons appeared to enjoy themselves. I enjoyed the option to eat inside, especially since it was raining that day. They also have cafe menu featuring paninis, crepes, soups, and toasts. The coffee list is also fun with seasonal new coffee/tea options and traditional favorites. There's something for everyone here! This morning I got some of my favorites - bacon egg cruffin (croissant that's a muffin shaped home for egg and bacon), coffee cake muffin, and traditional croissant! Everything is always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently good and has seen some major improvements recently. The staff remembers guests' names, which is amazing. The service is generally very quick unless it's a very busy time for the bakery or you have a to-go order from the menu. Busy times are usually weekend mornings/brunch time. Seating is available inside and outside, limited. The bakery has a fun spring menu with new drinks and eats. In warmer months you'll be able to enjoy food on the patio overlooking the historical architecture of Cedar Fairmount. Parking: The bakery has a big parking lot in the back. I stopped by Luna Bakery and ordered the herbal scrambled egg--it was fresh, flavorful, and a great light option for brunch. Simple, but done really well. The place was very busy when I went, which shows it's popular, but it did make things feel a little hectic. Service was a bit lacking--not rude, just not super attentive, probably because of the crowd. The space is cute and cozy, and with its vibe and seating, it's probably a good spot to study or get some work done when it's less busy. Let's start with no one replied to my email I sent regarding the disappointment I had with a recent order so that's really unfortunate. Quick summary.. I called and placed an order for 2 dozen cookies ($72 worth) and gave the day and time I would be picking up from the downtown location. When I went to pick up the cookies, they could not find the order and gave me a BS excuse that the "baker had quit that morning" so they told me they could bake a new batch if I gave them 20 minutes. I said " No problem" and then when I returned almost 2 hours later, the cookies were still not ready. I was told to take a seat and wait, and then approximately 30 minutes later, my cookies were finally ready. The issue didn't stop here though, when I got home and tried a bite, they were ROCK SOLID & inedible. I am extremely frustrated as these were the ONLY request my son had got his college graduation celebration. I can't believe that a business owner would put up with this kind of customer service... it's really disgusting and I will be sure to NEVER recommend Luna Bakery to anyone again. Sucks that they failed a SIMPLE cookie order for my son's special day and also shame on them for not getting back to me and even offering to make it right. We stopped by before visiting Case Western. We got some really good coffee and pastries. Even though it was pretty busy, we were able to order pretty quickly and our order was available right away. Again, we didn't order any cooked egg dishes so I can't evaluate how quick that was. But overall, the service seemed good and it's a great location. we will definitely go again. read more

Excellent food with a warm, welcoming and chill atmosphere :) We ordered and really enjoyed the nutella and banana crepe, fresh mozzarella crepe, and smoked salmon toast. The ingredients were all fresh, items were flavorful, and were good portions. They offer a variety of breakfast, paninis, salads, crepes, soups, cup cakes, pastries, coffee and beverages. First things first the wait was not long to order, and the cashier was helpfull it get old 4 stars due to price. I found it slightly over priced but if that isnt an issue, then the food was good and fhe bakery is excellent! Me and mine ordered there breakfast burritos and they were made well woth good ingredients. The mocha and latte we gor were not hot which was a disappointment. The atmosphere is as you would expect for the type of café it is! It was nice to see that they are restoring the outside of the historic build so scaffolding was not an issue! Came for brunch on Saturday afternoon - first time here in a while. As there was 4 of us, we got to try variety of things. Most were very good or good and couple were disappointment (2 of the biggest disappointments were lemon curd crepe and side caesar salad - especially salad, it just tasted like store bought). We liked the Bistro Chicken Crepe, Nutella Banana Crepe and Chicken Panini. Coffee was okay, nothing special. I will say this, my wife is gluten-free and their GF crepe is really good, can't tell it apart from a regular crepe. Good place for brunch/breakfast. read more

So good! Between two of us, we ordered a slice of king cake, an almond croissant, and an apple-oat bar along with a drip coffee and a ginger-pear latte. The pastries were all notably top-notch and the coffee was very good. When we got there, the line was nearly out the door, but it moved fast and our total wait was no more than 15 minutes, including waiting for the latte after ordering. Although it was chilly, we ate outside in the patio area. In spring and summer, the patio will be epic. read more

Luna is the best bakery in Cleveland and I'll die on this hill. What got me hooked was the croissants- so light and fluffy, flakey and crispy all in the right way. They do a pan au chocolate that is heavenly. There other menu items do not disappoint either. Today we had the herb egg panini and added avocado, the herb and avocado combo was incredible we practically liked our plate. Also had the dark chocolate and berry crepe which is my favorite, it's a slightly bitter dark chocolate ganache with mixed berries on top and it's heavenly if you need breakfast chocolate like I do. There is indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor is hard to come by on a weekend morning, it seems like from opening to close on the weekends it is packed and for good reason. Patio is dog friendly. They have a refillable water station which you can bring your own vessel for if you want to reduce cardboard cup use. The service is great. Watching the line of cooks work to get through the steady rush of breakfasters was remarkable. Despite being mobbed I only waiting about 10-15 min for my food. read more

I wanted to love this place but overall mixed review. The ambiance is great and prices are reasonable when you're used to Minneapolis. Good: Chicken pesto panini and Mediterranean side salad. Lemon curd and berry, chocolate and berry crepes. Bad: wrong crepe order brought with no apology. Weak Americano and no apology (or conversation at all) when asked to remake it. Remake also poorly done and did not drink it at that point. It's not hard to say sorry when orders are wrong or incorrectly prepared. Could've been a five star with the food quality. read more

I live close to Luna's, so it's my go-to coffee shop if I'm not in the mood to support starbucks. You really can't go wrong with any drink you order from there. They have my second favorite matcha latte after Lekko coffee. They also have a nice selection of seasonal drinks that I always end up trying and loving. In terms of food, I would come back to Luna's for pastries + cookies, but I haven't been impressed by their hot food menu. They have a pretty extensive breakfast/Lunch menu with a lot of seating inside to eat. I've had their sandwiches, soups, and avocado toast. I first visited Luna Bakery Cafe over a year ago - time has flown by because I am writing this review in July 2021 (thank goodness I uploaded my photos unto Yelp back then in 2020). I visited with a friend, Kristen, in June 2020 and we sat outside on their patio. It was a very hot day and everyone was out so the restaurant was busy. I visited again in March 2021 with a friend, Chelsea. BRUNCH -- They have so many delicious baked goods and lunch items to choose from. When I first came for brunch in June 2020, I just had a simple avocado toast and added an egg on top for protein. Of course, any meal with an avocado is unnecessarily overpriced just like some restaurants like to do in popular neighbourhoods. The avocado toast tasted fine and it was nothing special. They did add some flavour on it which I think was red pepper flakes and salt. The pastries are what most guests come here for - cookies, muffins, croissants, etc. I had something sweet when I visited in March 2021 and it satisfied my sweet tooth. I can't remember what I ordered but i think it was a muffin and tea. Next time, I'd love to try their crepes and breakfast sandwiches. SERVICE -- Service will be slow on weekends (during a busy Saturday and Sunday brunch) so if you are in a hurry, I suggest visiting on a weekday afternoon when it most likely will not be as busy. If you are looking for a low cost bakery then this isn't it but I still recommend that you give Luna Bakery a try because I am sure they use quality ingredients. Cute place and delicious bakery items! We were in Cleveland for a visit and stopped by for lunch. They have a patio outside which is great when the weather is warm! I had the turkey panini, nicely toasted and cheesy. We also picked up a bag of their homemade granola, I love sampling granola from different places that we visit. My friend and I came here on the day of the lunar eclipse and it was extremely busy. I felt that staff handled this well. Our drinks came pretty quickly but our food took a while, which was to be expected given the circumstances. I am guessing if it had not been so busy, the service would have been much quicker. Despite being very busy, the cashier was the friendliest ever! They were so kind. Every staff member we interacted with was awesome. My coffee was delicious, I had an orange blossom latte. The food was just okay. I had the salmon toast. The bread was not as thick as I would have liked, and in some places it was soggy, which made me wonder if it had been sitting with the salmon on it for a while. The taste was pretty good, and I really enjoyed the onions. But it did not blow me away and I was kind of expecting something more from it. My friend had a gluten free muffin which she loved. She also had another dish (I believe the scrambled eggs) and she said they were alright. Despite some of the shortcomings, I would totally come back here. They have a cute aesthetic and decorations throughout the place, with a comfy and cozy atmosphere, which makes it a great spot to hang out with friends. It is usually pretty busy so make sure to bank a little extra time for the line. The last time I was there, the line was out the door and the wait was more than 20 minutes. They have a number of ready-made pastries and drinks or a more extensive menu for more of a sit-down meal. It is probably not the ideal place to do some coffee shop studying since there aren't many accessible and available power outlets for laptops. The food is pretty good, but some of the items are a bit overpriced. I've had a multitude of sandwiches and breakfast items from the menu and nothing has let me down. Luna is such a great local spot for breakfast and lunch, pastries, and coffee!! They have a wide selection of paninis and crepes, as well as other options such as scrambled eggs. They also have TONS of delicious looking pastries and treats. I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered! The line is often long at peak times, so be prepared to wait a little bit to order and then to get your food once you're seated. While it does get crowded, I've usually always been able to find a spot to sit down! The outdoor seating is really nice for the summertime. Overall, one of my favorite local spots!
