Been wanting to try out this place for a while and I'm glad that I came to this spot because I got to try the banana pudding ice cream and get the gingerbread banana coffee next door at Foxtail to mix the 2 together. It was the best mixture of flavors I've ever had! This walk-up stand with friendly service was everything I needed in an ice cream shop. The menu and flavors were nicely laid out and was simple to order from. The open grass area and nice weather really made this more enjoyable this day. This was a good prelude into dinner and curbed off the hunger for a bit while going into the adjacent food hall with many yummy options to view

Our granddaughters love Kelly's and we enjoy treating them to ice cream when we're in Orlando.(Their favorite flavor is Cookie Monster or Strawberry.) The young man working the service window the Saturday afternoon we visited was friendly and helpful. I ordered Mexican Chocolate in a bowl for myself and my husband ordered Salted Caramel Cookies + Cream. Both flavors hit the spot on a warm spring afternoon. Thank you for having gluten free options available. Check the menu board or ask your server for flavors that rotate monthly or seasonally. Ask for a sample if you're not sure which flavor you'd like to try. We also purchased some gift cards for the grand girls. Our server activated the cards quickly and kindly marked the amounts on the cards for us. Cute little place that has the feeling of an old fashioned ice cream stand with outdoor seating only. Parking is a bit challenging but worth the effort.

I tried a Kelly's Original - Blondie and a June Featured flavor - Rocky Road. Both really good flavors because I liked the chocolate/almond combination with a white chocolate ice cream flavor. The golden oreo pieces were a delightful treat. Would definitely try Kelly's homemade ice cream again when I'm back in Florida.

Best ice cream in town. Guess that's why there like 4 locations I've been to. The flavors are unique, and rich and you can taste that they are fresh and homemade. Always stop by to try the seasonal flavors. Even the plain vanilla or chocolate is amazing. If you have an ice cream lover or just want to do a cute ice cream date I'm sure you'll find a flavor to fall in love with. There also gluten free, lactose free and other allergy friendly options.

Kelly's literally never disappoints. Doesn't even matter the location every location is just so good. The flavors are incredible, the staff is always so friendly and the vibes are just immaculate. Easily my favorite ice cream shop!

Orlando is a foodie city!!! So this place is so good, and because of the holidays (+ how latinx Orlando is) they have coquito ice cream with real rum in it! It was so good, and the service was amazing. The guy working there made the ice cream into a flower for me. 10/10, would go there again.

This is our third stop on our date night trip- Zach's never been here. I got the sorbet which is cherry, lime, and blueberry swirl! The girl at the window was so nice and it's really easy to order at this location. Plus what a prime spot near The Hall on the Yard and near Gnarley Barley. I definitely recommend coming here! 10/10

I've visited the main location before and have always had amazing vegan options. Their ice cream is alwayssssss delicious and they have plenty of options. I just wish there were more non dairy options as they only had 2 when I visited this time. I would give a 5 if they like a dairy free chocolate always available. Other wise great ice cream at a fair price which is so hard to find nowadays with all of the fancy ice cream places opening up. Def always worth a visit.

Friends wanted dessert so we stop by Kelly's after having dinner nearby. Plenty of ice cream flavor options to choose from. I ended up getting the Mexican Chocolate on a regular cone. Nice flavor with cinnamon. I really enjoyed it and it wasn't too overpowering. Nice area were you're able to sit to enjoy the ice cream or walk around the area. The staff didn't seem too friendly.

Kelly's never disappoints and pistachio is my all time Kelly's flavor. Staff is always friendly and let me sample as many flavors as I want before deciding my order. Their monthly rotational flavors are great and, if not ordering pistachio or Mexican chocolate, I go for a rotational flavor. I sample September's pumpkin spice and it was delicious, though a bit sweet for me.

Tried a non dairy ice cream first time at the FernCreek location, it was flavorful but more icy than creamy. Im glad I tried the regular dairy ice cream at the Alden location. No indoor seating but you can enjoy your treat outdoors. Oh my....the perfect ending to a meal at the Yard. Kelly's Hazelnut Swirl was sooo satisfiying, the dark chocolate hazelnut ice cream with swirls of nutella was sooo good and addicting...great combination. If this was available all year long I'll be in trouble. The Pistachio didn't pack as much flavor but 1 of March's featured dark chocolate peanut butter layered with fudge and butterfinger pieces was really flavorful as well. Decent sized serving, the small cup is enough to share but just the right amount of indulgence. Looking forward to the following months' featured flavors.

I stopped by Kelly's after an evening at The Hall on the Yard. The staff was very friendly making it an especially good experience. I sampled the Moon Pie ice cream and thought that it was great but it tasted more like an oatmeal pie and had crushed oatmeal cookies in it. I might have been given the wrong sample or it is their version of the moon pie. I went with a double scoop of peanut butter chocolate and banana pudding. The flavors were rich and creamy tasting. It was delicious.

Finally got the chance to try Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko, and what a delight it was!!…read more Upon arrival, there was a bit of a line, but thankfully it moved pretty quickly. My order came out quickly. I got their matcha latte with ube foam, and it was a dream in a cup. In comparison to some other places I've gotten matcha from, Cafe Maiko is definitely a top contender. The overall decor is trendy and very clean. They have a cute circular chair that's IG/social media-worthy for a cute photo op. It is quaint inside, with a decent amount of seating. There's some bench seating up front as well, and I believe there is also a bench for seating just outside. Thankfully, I was getting my order to go, as the day and time I arrived, there was no seating readily available. Beyond that, it is a very cute cafe. The parking situation is FOREVER a challenge in the Mills District area, so just be cognizant of that. Pricing was very reasonable. The staff was so kind and helpful (if you had any questions). All in all, for my first experience, I truly enjoyed every bit of it.

Matcha Cafe Maiko is a specialty matcha café focused entirely around Japanese-style matcha desserts…read moreand drinks. We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.
