As for the ice cream itself, it's always top notch. Their flavors aren't just vanilla or chocolate ice cream with stuff stuffed in it. Their ice cream bases are often unique, too, like spice mocha coffee ice cream, peanut butter ice cream, blueberry ice cream, etc. And then you add in the mix-ins, the swirles, there's sometimes extra crumbles sprinkled on top. She has gone on to open Sampaguita, a Filipino dessert shop in the Mills District. I was in Sanford stopping for dinner at Henry's Depot and was surprised to discover that Greenery Creamery had opened a second location, a stall in this food hall. It was so hard to pick from all the amazing flavors so I sampled a few with the help the very nice young man who was working and ended up giving great recommendations for dinner. After I ate I came back for the iconic Black Ash Coconut in one of their famous charcoal activated cones which is reputed to have health benefits like helping stomach pains and curing hangovers. A single scoop of ice cream in a charcoal cone was only $5. Other ice cream flavors that were offered on my visit included Dad's Actual Favorite Flavor, Peach Cobbler, and Ube Brownie which is a purple yam ice cream. They also had a collaboration with Bungalower for Planet Earth, a coconut lime and melon ice cream in a naturally colored blue and green hue. Some of the flavors are vegan, dairy, and gluten free. I ask to order my same smoothie and wellness shot to pick up after my yoga class. I usually stay after yoga to shower and chat w the instructors and other yogis. One day I was late picking up but I eventually got there. It seemed fine. I remember the interaction bc the original owner was there who is never there and I was so happy to see him. He was telling me about the new location he opened DT. Then the next time I asked for my usual before class the arrogant guy was there. I said sorry I threw my stuff down and just throwing in my order and I'll pay when I pick up. He says. Yea well you forgot to pick up last time and didn't pay. I was like "what?" That can't be true. I always have my routine. And I pick up right after and I notice if I pay bc it's cost $17-19 not including the tip I give EVERY SINGLE TIME. I explained I always pick up. And I definitely always pay. I think of small businesses as something I want to help keep open. Not add to the burden. His arrogance was over the top. I was so offended. I realized he was talking about the day I came late. My drink sat probably 20m longer than usual bc I got caught up talking to an instructor.
