Drove by and immediately took a u-turn to get some ice cream. I got strawberry soft serve with rainbow sprinkles for my kids....I had a taste of it and it's delicious! It was roughly 3.00$ per cone for this kid size. For myself, I ordered chocolate marshmallow ice cream on a freshly made waffle cone. The waffle cone had been coated at the top with fudge and peanuts. The bottom of the cone was filled with peanuts.. it's my least favourite part of the cone but I think it's just my preference. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it. There's lots of parking... Amidst covid, their playground area and seating area is closed. But there are some benches ( maybe 2 or 3 ) you can sit for a while to enjoy your cone... or you can sit in or stand by your car. Initially, my family and I wanted Ice cream but instead we ended up grabbing coffee. I ordered a raspberry mocha latte. The latte was pretty decent. They added whipped cream to it. This place gets crowded and as a result the wait time for them to fulfill your orders, even if your ordering coffee only, is a little lengthy. I have been visiting this establishment since 2010 and I would have to say the quantity of Ice cream giving during a purchase has been getting worst since 2019-2022. Once upon a time they filled your cup to your satisfaction. My son made a purchase today 6/4/2022 and didn't check the bag before leaving and discovered once he arrived home that they only put about 2 scoops in the cup. To sum it all up- If you're willing to PAY MORE FOR LESS than this is the place to waste your money. For more than $5 a cup, you can purchase a half a gallon at the market. Stopped here after spending some time at the water gap and really enjoyed it. I got the chocolate chocolate chip and it was delicious. My fiancé got the soft raspberry and he enjoyed it immensely as well. The girl who helped us was super peppy, which was very nice. The only bad thing is that they still use styrofoam; I would love to see them switch to something a little more environmentally friendly. The ice cream is fantastic, but one of the employees kept getting everyone's order incorrect. I get it, maybe it's your first job but she's messing up basic arithmetic and unable to jot down orders correctly. My boyfriend was here the week prior and she messed up his order then too. Again the ice cream and fries are FANTASTIC. I would just recommend they screen candidates a little better or make sure they are fully competent before letting them loose. My family, friends and I can't wait for summer when Kelly's opens! Not only is the ice cream the best, but the food is fantastic. During this time (COVID) we have been unable to eat there, but now we take out our food and ice cream. My favorite is the chicken salad. Recently we made a trip out to our favorite furniture maker and the salesperson recommended this place. Our expectations were very low upon arrival -- and I am thrilled to say we were pleasantly surprised. I love a good hot dog with chili and raw onions -- especially with mayo...and they had a good one(actually 2). But even better were the potato pancakes...crispy with a tender center. The biggest surprise were the waffles with ice cream. One order turned into 3 orders for the table. This roadside eatery is great. Not every meal needs to be fancy! I haven't tried the food, but the ice cream is good. Went to Kelly's for dinner today and got chicken fingers and a chicken panini. When I got our food I could see that the chicken fingers were overdone. My sandwich was OK, the chicken fingers were my boyfriend, so I brought back to our table. He took one bite and said they were burnt. He brought them back and asked for chicken fingers that were not overcooked and was told that was how they were made. We have been going here for years and the ice cream is good. She refused to make us another order and would not accommodate us. I know this is not a 5 star restaurant, but I do expect edible food. It was her attitude that got me, she was not interested in helping us at all, and we were out a meal and the money for it. There's usually a line, and even when there's not, you'll wait at least 10-15 minutes for someone to take your order. About 50% of the time, they get my order right. A lot of people around here go nuts over Kelly's ice cream. It's ok. If you're lactose intolerant or looking for a non-dairy treat, this place doesn't have very many options. Let me start by saying the ice cream is good. Like really good. They have so many homemade hard ice cream flavors and they are all amazing. My favorite is the birthday cake which unfortunately they don't make until late in the season which is really upsetting. I go in at least once a week to ask if they've made it yet because it's that good. The food is subpar though, the French fries are unsalted and the burgers don't have much flavor. The BLT was good but I wish it had more bacon. The service is alright. It's a bunch of 16 year old girls who are polite but don't seem to have much sense. I ordered a small hard chocolate ice cream and I got a soft serve vanilla dipped in hard chocolate shell. When I asked for it to be replaced the girl insisted that's what I had ordered. I took it anyway because I love ice cream and hate to cause problems but next time I guess I'll have to be more specific in my ordering. All in all its a nice place and I still go whenever they finally get birthday cake in. read more

I have family in Mt. Bethel, PA, and they love this place. One of my nieces even works there. I've been here on visits and was just there on Monday. The ice cream is great and they have many flavors, some interesting ones like Coconut, Maple Walnut, Cake Batter, and Bubble Gum. They have some of my favorites like Rum Raisin and Pistachio. Servings are ample and prices reasonable. They also serve lots of great food items: sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, etc. I had a Philly Cheese Steak which was okay but, being relatively close to Philly, it was surprisingly unlike a traditional one. Last year I saw Cotton Candy ice cream on the flavor list but they were out of it. They had it this time and I was awaiting a treat, as I love cotton candy. Big disappointment. The ice cream tasted nothing at all like cotton candy and it was spiked with some kind of tart Pop Rocks that further eliminated any hope of it tasting like its namesake. Next time I'll try the Bubble Gum. This is a nice place. Good food and ice cream, friendly people, good prices, small town place. If you're passing through Mt Bethel and it's open for the season, do drop in. read more
