The ice cream is delicious, especially the I hate chocolate. The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming and convenient as it is right off the Karl Stirner Arts Trail where I often take my 2 year old St. Bernedoodle to the dog park. Today, I was on the outside patio with my dog, Rita, and called to order some ice cream for both of us, but did not want to bring her inside since only service animals are allowed per the sign on the door. The store manager was so great and brought the ice cream out to me along with some water for my dog.

My friend and I came in right before closing on a Saturday night and were very happy with how nice the guy working was. He was happy to answer questions about the different flavors and offer samples. I can't remember exactly what I got... something sweet cream based... but I loved it. I loved the rich and creaminess of it. Next time I'm in town I would definitely come back.

We were looking for a dessert place after dinner and so glad we found Owowcow! Adorable name, a bit hard to find this spot though. We followed our GPS and parked across the street in the smaller parking lot with the giant Silk sign. We walked around to the other side and saw a small sign and realized there is a much bigger parking lot there. A few steps up, we entered the ice cream shop and it was such a vibe. Brick walls, high ceiling, cozy atmosphere, chill music, ice cream display brightly lit. We knew we were in for a good time. We were greeted by someone I think is the most professional and business friendly person I've seen, especially for a teenager. She was so calm and quick with getting us samples and had an awesome vibe to her. After trying tons of flavors, we went with Dirt, Vanilla and House Cookies and Cream. I don't remember what was in Dirt but damn, it was good. There's a few seats and it was really fun to sit there and finish our ice cream. They have vegan flavors and was accommodating to get a clean scoop. They do charge 3% for credit card use. Awesome spot. Would certainly come back if I was in the area.

Ice Cream by Hand ......Great ice cream place located in the old textile buildings. Tons of flavors and the staff let you sample As many as you like. Vegan option are available. I tried the Fried Cookies and Cream and the local Peach. Was not a fan of the fried cookies and cream (think I'm more of a traditionalist..haha) and went with the peach. Tons of real peach flavor throughout. Other options include popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, shakes, floats, sundae's and pints to go.

There are so many interesting flavours and the dessert pastries are so so good. Amazing homemade brownies, ice cream, cakes, popsicles and toppings. Their flavours were super unique and delicious. They also tasted very natural and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall the shop was also super cute!

I love this location the best. Not only because it's closest to me but because it's roomier and the staff is so incredibly nice here. They greet you when you enter, they explain every flavor you have a question about, they tell you what's a big seller, AND they make suggestions. Today i came for the Cherry Vanilla Stracciatella that everyone was talking about in a fb food group I'm in. It could've used more cherries but it was delicious nonetheless. I think the best part is that the chocolate is flaked. Not HUGE chunks of chocolate that are hard to bite through. I love chocolate but the flakes work perfectly in here. Lots of seating. High ceilings. Clean bathroom. Location gets jumbled in the Silk Mill but once you find it, it's worth it!

Wow, this was a really good ice cream spot. I am so happy we decided to stop here and try them out. I decided to get the cinnamon bourbon with carmal cashews . My mother decided to get the chocolate mint. There prices were very reasonable priced and very delicious. I would highly recommend coming here and checking then out.

Delicious selection of ice creams and cookie sandwiches and ice cream pops. There is plenty of outdoor seating and tables. We had a scoop of I hate chocolate and one of salted cashew. They seem to have a few special flavors every month as well.

Decent mix of flavors. Pretty pricey but worth it! I recommend getting the small cup size with two flavors as you get more variety and it's hard to scoop two "half scoops" so I got what felt like two full scoops in a small cup. Ice cream is very rich and creamy. I got the Cookie Monster and blood orange. Both fantastic. I preferred the Cookie Monster but the blood orange has a nice strong fruit flavor. Lots of the ones I test tasted were fantastic, but the honey lavender was too strong on the lavender for me. Extremely friendly staff. Lots of seating. And they offer flights of icecream (5 scoops) which is an awesome idea for larger groups or one really hungry icecream fiend. They tend to give big scoops and because it's so delicious I'll be back :)

I got Cookie Monster w/ I hate chocolate and the chocolate jar. I loved everything!! Staff was friendly, quick and fast!! It was calming and the highway sounds like white noise. I wound recommend this place for the family. I will come back!!

Rustic yet superbly repurposed setting. Cookie Monstah flavor is a household favorite of ours. Seasonal flavor of Hot Cocoa ice cream was better than expected too! In a sentence: this is a high quality ice cream-experience. Happy to drive 25 mins to Owowcow for when my generally well suppressed ice cream craving flares up.

Came here for dessert on a Saturday night and the parking lots were packed. Took about 10 minutes of circling around Silk Mills to eventually find a spot. The creamery itself was a bit hard to find without signage in front of the place too, but we eventually figured it out thanks to Google Maps. The interior is really cute! Kinda gives me Chelsea Market vibes. And there are so many unique flavors to choose from. The employees weren't very friendly though and didn't seem very happy when I asked to sample several flavors before placing my order even though there was no line behind me. I opted for a scoop of Honey Lavender and a scoop of Blueberry Lemon ice cream. My boyfriend got Cookies and Cream. The Honey Lavender ice cream is delicious!! That alone is 5/5 stars and I'd 100% buy it at a grocery store if I found it. The Blueberry Lemon was okay, but the sour lemon taste was very strong after a few bites. The Cookies and Cream wasn't very creamy and tasted more like an Italian ice than an ice cream. Overall, kudos to the unique flavors and menu variety but I'm not in a rush to come back.

I appreciate this place for the amount of original flavors they have! Not your typical chocolate, mint, vanilla, and strawberry. They have all different creations - especially seasonal. I also enjoy that they have many kinds of ice cream sandwiches! That is original! I had the chocolate chip cookie one with vanilla ice cream. While I am impressed with the variety...the quality and flavor is ALMOST amazing. It was a pretty good cookie with pretty good ice cream, but not amazing. It was almost a little too sweet. Otherwise, this place is a very cool ice cream shop located inside a very (what seems) old building. Seems like an old factory? Very cool and historic.
