I eat at Kelly's every few weeks, as I live nearby. I have always had a fantastic meal there. Their wait staff is wonderful, the food is fabulous and whoever is their barista does a bang up job with the coffee drinks! The atmosphere and decor are bright and cheerful. First time I have been to the restaurant, my wife has been a couple times previously. I very much enjoyed the breakfast I ordered and the menu was well rounded. So good! I ordered my usual scrambled eggs with onion and cheese, and it was delicious! Fresh chunky grilled onion, provolone cheese, and nice fluffy moist scrambled eggs. Stopped here last week as I had a errand to run in that neck of the woods. The waitress here was ok and brought us coffee promptly with plenty of refills offered. At 10 am on a weekday, it was clearly a senior favorite. Eggs were done well and the home fries were pretty tasty, but could have used a bit more seasoning. In terms of service, the Kelly's staff is friendly and polite. I live around the block and have been here several times over the years. Sometimes they write cute little notes on the to-go containers when ordering out. Food wise, Kelly's is a solid 3. Their dishes aren't amazing or worth raving about, but they aren't bad. It's just okay - does not have the "wow" factor. If you want a more extravagant brunch go to Nudy's, first Watch or Root's cafe in West Chester. If you want something solid in the neighborhood, then Kelly's is not a bad choice. I'm glad we have something decent local, all the "happening" spots are a bit of a further drive. read more

A-OK Stopped by here for breakfast after a wedding and we were NOT impressed. The day we stopped by, all the servers were dressed up as dwarfs from snow white which I thought it was so cute for halloween. Even though it's a pretty small diner, we were fortunate enough to get seated right away. The server came to us pretty quickly and took our order and then....we never saw her again until we were almost finished with our meal. I ordered the special, cajun eggs benedict...and I was not sure what I was eating. I never had a hollandaise sauce taste so bad in my life. My husband got a regular breakfast platter and he's food was good. I also ordered side of bacon and the bacon came out cold. It would be nice if they could heat up the bacon a little before server it to the customers. I understand that they fry the whole thing in advance but I really like when diners heat up the bacon a little before serving it to the customers. On top of everything, the servers were not friendly at all! it doesn't kill you to smile once in awhile...I can just see in everyone's faces that they do not wanna be working on a Sunday morning. My husband's favorite is their Banana Walnut Pancakes. For lunch my go to is their Grilled or Crispy Chicken salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions, cheddar cheese and hard boiled eggs. Chicken Melt is another one of my favorites, Chicken, spinach, roasted red pepper aioli and provolone.
