This is third time I have been to Kelly's and convinced that it is one of the best repair shops around. Have purchased tires and today had brakes done. I had told them that I thought I had a leak in radiator. They did a pressure test and found nothing. If I would have gone to Hyundai dealer they would have done a lot more. Had a car battery die unexpectedly in the rain. Called Kelly's Tire and Muffler and Patrick sent out a mechanic to jump start me. He followed me back to the business and I had a new battery installed. They are top notch and went out of their way to assist me. I always take my business to them. I went in as my car dash showed low tire pressure. I didn't have an appointment and they seemed busy. They just asked my to pull up by the garage door and if I needed a tire or a repair it would take awhile. They checked the pressure and added a little air. That was all I needed. They wouldn't even take a tip for checking everything. I've used their service several times over 10 years and they have never disappointed me. I always recommend them. Thank you. I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler that started leaking coolant a month ago. After monitoring it for a few weeks, my check engine light came on while driving to work. Time to call a mechanic! I called right away & Patrick told me to bring it in & they would take a look. He explained the fee & was very polite. Turns out I needed a new radiator, along with a few other things. He quoted me a price & scheduled an appointment for a few days later, seeing as they had to order the parts. I dropped my Jeep off this morning & anticipated the call. I was preparing for "oh, and we had to do x, y and z as well!" 6 hours later, everything was finished. He told me the price & I paid over the phone with a credit card. A few minutes later, I called back. "I thought it was going to be close to $1000. You only charged me $861 for everything." Patrick explained that they didn't end up servicing the air conditioner like they thought they would, and because it's a newer vehicle, I would want to take it to the Jeep dealer if it ever needed to be serviced because they have the equipment for it. Because of that, my price was cheaper. WHAT!? I would have had NO idea, and they could have taken me for a run. They even tucked the old radiator aside to show me what was wrong with it (not that I would have known). Honest all around! No garbage about extra work, no hidden costs, just fast & friendly service! Everyone there is pleasant to talk to & super helpful. I mentioned that I would be taking a road trip to CT soon, & asked what else needed to be done. "You're good to go. I would eventually replace those tires". (They have 70,000 miles on them & have been told before!) Start to finish, it was the best car service I've ever received! While traveling to Cape Cod we got an unexpected flat on 495 .I quickly googled tire repair and about 12 miles on the way there was Kelly's we have run flats so I called and they said come right in it would be a quick wait maybe 40 minutes. We got there and were next in line. They were able to remove the metal piece we had run over and repair it in less than 30 minutes we were on our way back on vacation. We're long time customers of Kelly's Tire Mart and have always thought they were great. We recently dropped a car off for a new muffler and mentioned an issue with the battery. We told them to take their time as we just had a baby and were both home on leave. When we picked it up they let us know that it was an issue with the battery purchased last year at Auto Zone but it was under warranty. They contacted Auto Zone, drove there to get the new one, and swapped it out. They told my husband "you just had a baby, you don't need to be dealing with that". So kind and above and beyond. Service comes out on top however their communication is atrocious. I hate every time I come here the staff tells me specifically to drop my car off then doesn't touch it until the day is almost over! A call to check in warrants a different staff to question if I had an appointment! Well yes, the reason I dropped it off expecting to have my requests fulfilled in a timely manner. Very frustrating when you have some where to go and the shop disregards the time limit they have given. What is the point of having an appointment if they don't have time. Honesty goes a long way people. If you don't have time just inform the customer. Now I will be paying double to take my car elsewhere because I don't have time for them to keep my car another 48 hours. read more

Brought my car here after it failed to start. The only good thing they did was look at the car right away. The issue turned out to be a fuel pump. The price quote was high and they refuse to use junk yard parts, I never had a mechanic tell me that before, EVER. I went back to get my car and was told I had to pay $70 dollars for them to look at it. Alright that's fair but that's something you are required to tell your customer up front. I had to call the BBB to get that illegal fee taken away. Turned out the price quote they gave me did not include that $70. That's how well this place treats there customers. They put in a hidden fees maybe to hide the fact there prices are ridiculously high. Finally got my car back and noticed that my whole passenger side lights were out, low beams, high beams, even the fog light. I called to let them know and the guy that answered the phone was lacking even the smallest amount of customer service skills. Did they screw with my car after I refused to pay the $70? Maybe, there's no way to prove it. I am not even sure how this place has 2 positive reviews. I am new to Middleboro and after I brought my car here, after seeing positive reviews and the fact they were close to my house, I asked around. Initially I was upset because I found a bubble on one of the 4 tires I had bought days before. On top of that the production date of the tires was in 2013. Called, they told me to stop by and within 10 min had agreed to replace all the tires at no extra charge and they would make sure they were from 2015. I have brought every car I've owned to this shop and my family has done so as well off and on for the past 15 years. Excellent service, great people! read more

I brought my car here after I smelled gas in my car...they checked and determined nothing was wrong..the next day my battery light came on and my car died. I had my car towed to kellys and find out its the alternator...no big deal so 2 days later I pick up my car and they so oh and your check engine light is on...a light that was not on prior to them touching my car....oh and did I mention they are over priced? read more

My car broke down going to work. The alternator failed on my car. AAA towed me in a snow storm but I told them to tow me to where they would take their car and a place that could fix it quickly. That ended up a Kelly's Tire Mart not the place they normally take you.. The fixed my car no problem and also notified me of a major problem I didn't know about the front engine support mount was rusted out on my 2004 I35 Infinity. The mechanic knew about the problem because he use to have the same car. They showed me the problem and told me that at some point my engine would fall out. They were right. I brought the car to a body shop and they fixed the problem for $900 dollars. I ended up bringing my other cars here now even though it is not close to my home. They have done valve gasket replacement and inspections on my car as well as oil changes. They understand people don't have money trees in their background but they saved me from a major problem if my engine fell out of my car. read more

I have several issues with Kelly's.First- I went here based on a cousins recommendation for what turned out to be a costly repair. Got a call from the owner two days after getting the car back saying he left out billing me for a $200 plus part. Now I work for a similar type business and if we make a mistake like that we swallow it because guess what - I'll never go there again! Second - the cousin, a loyal customer for years who recommended Kelly's to me, had to have their car towed there after it stopped driving . After locating the problem and assuring my cousin it would be ready by Saturday so he could have his car for work on Monday it turned out they hadn't even started repairs on Saturday when he went to pick it up. Third- a friend of mine's daughter recently brought her car there because she thought she needed new front brakes. After having them looked at she was quoted a $500 price. My friend called a few other places and was quoted half that. Then, because he's fairly knowledgeable about cars, he removed the front tires and saw that the pads weren't even fifty percent worn. So Kelly's was going to overcharge a young lady driver for work that did not have to be done. Kelly's - no way. read more

Kelly's Tire Mart saved our vacation! We found out 48 hours before our camping vacation that our travel trailer needed 2 new axels and 5 new tires. No camper places could do the work. We were referred to Kelly's tires and they somehow pulled off a miracle and got all the work done in a day and a half. They finished just in time and were very reasonable prices. We can not say enough about how friendly and accommodating they were. I will refer everyone I know there and even though they are not near me I will go out of my way to use them!! read more

Had my car towed to this place on 9/11/14 @ around 2PM after I broke down on 495N. This place was very good about accepting my car as they put it to be worked on with "out an appointment" thus the 2 star rating. I was not told upfront how much the car would cost to get fixed. After 4 hours of waiting because they said the parts place (AutoZone) brought them the wrong part I got the bill $467.00. $140.00 was labor and $309.00 for the alternator. BTW the parts store sold the alternator to them for approx $184.00 that is at approx $125.00 markup. I was also charge almost $7.00 for a quart of transmission fluid and for a nut and bolt. The Alternators Part number is DL3642-16-2 (feel free to look it up yourself on autozones website). I called the store Kelly's Tire Mart today and asked who I was talking to and the male on the phone said "Well who is this"? I told him a customer from the other day. I talked to a Kevin (Manager or Owner Not sure) who said he was selling the part at the suggested retail price not the price he paid for it or "How would he stay in Business". Kevin then asked me "do I do this with restaurants too call them up to complain"? I said no I have never called a restaurant to complain, just you who pretty much took advantage of a bad situation. Disgusted and I do not recommend this place at all. read more
