The low air light on my dashboard kept coming on even though my tire pressure was normal. I went to one tire place nearby and was met with a very rude manager and I turned around and walked out. Then I went to another establishment where they told me I would have to spend $150 per tire for new sensors. Then I went to Kenwood and was met with a very pleasant person who came out, checked all my tires, told me that my sensors and pressure was fine and that it was simply set up incorrectly. He recalibrated the system and charged me nothing! I was extremely impressed with his professionalism demeanor and concern for my needs and I will now be a regular customer of this establishment. read more

They let me swap cars on my schedule. They found reliable parts at an affordable price w/out me asking them too. They let the car stay a few days longer so that I could arrange for someone to come w/me to drive it back. Other places either refuse to let the car stay, or charged me. I found Kenwood off of repair pal and yelp. They took me right in and looked over my car for free. I came back a few days later to follow up with some repairs I needed. I talked to Tara who was very knowledgeable, and pleasant. And waited in their very comfy waiting room. Kenwood diagnosed and fixed a oil leak that was caused by ANOTHER shop putting on the incorrect oil filter. I am also experiencing a shudder in my car. Initial it was believed to be my clutch going. I left my car to have a new one put in. The following day Spencer called and explained that they didn't put the clutch in. That it didn't seem to be the problem. He explained that they had tested the car and done a bunch of research. I was taken aback by his honesty. Instead of going ahead and installing a clutch and costing me 1400+ dollars. Spencer was honest with me and explained he didn't feel right doing it if it wouldn't definitely fix the problem. I will definitely continue bringing my cars to Kenwood Tire and Auto from now on. And suggest them to family and friends. As well as anyone else. They truly care about the customer. They are honest, and look out for your best interests. NEVER AGAIN! About a week ago I spent $1000 on a tire at this place, today I went back because I wanted them to loosen up two lug nuts for me. I pulled in and saw a young man either putting on or taking off a tire and asked him if he could loosen the two lug nuts to which he said "sure". As he finished a man came out yelling at him for loosening the lug nuts. Supposedly this young man was taking time away from another customer, there weren't any there. I paid the kid and left. After calling the manager to complain about the customer service (older man) I found out it was the manager who had the fit in the first place and he was just as rude on the phone. First time going here. Found them via the positive reviews and was very pleased with their service. I came in for 4 new tires. Was able to get an appointment couple days later. Showed up and was in/out in about an hour. This is the first time I've gotten four new tires and not had a rim scratched or damaged. While I was waiting multiple customers came in and out. A someone dropped off a clean c5 corvette that was obviously their baby. So clearly this place is known to take good care of your pride and joy. The owner is super friendly and the place has that old neighborhood mechanic feeling that can be hard to find now. I will recommend Kenwood to everyone and I will definitely go back next time I need tires. Yes you might be able to go to a local chain and get a "deal" on tires and an alignment. I don't usually write a review on Yelp, but I write for this one because I know how painful it is these days to find a good honest auto garage. I took my car for wheel alignment and they help me fixed my bumper "for free". This is not the first time they fixed some minor things on my car. Everytime I drop my car there for either oil change or alignment, they alway fixed whatever minor issue they see on my car "for free". And the customer service? One of the best I've ever seen in any businesses. From the mechanic to the front desk, everybody is so nice and friendly. read more

I brought my car here for them to put 2 tires on n to do a wheel alignment. They couldn't do the alignment because I needed a front passenger side hub assembly and I told them that I'l do it myself. Couple days later I take off my tire to do the hub and these fucking morons forgot to put my caliper bolts back on and almost killed my wife and I. And when I called, they denied it. Don't go here because they don't care and will deny any mistakes they make. read more

Got a quote on 4 truck tires and was quoted $1,400 installed. Another local shop quoted me $816 installed. How can Kenwood charge almost $600 more for the same tires! I tried to support a local business which ended up being another place but come on no way the cost difference should be this much. So this morning I came on yelp and found Kenwood Tire and Auto Service...so I called the shop this morning they were so helpful and professional...Spencer was awsome all he asked was...where's your car at? I Told him where it was...His Mobile Service guy came took the tire out and brought it to the shop replaced what needed to be done. Let me start by saying that I HATE bringing my cars anywhere to have work done. I usually do everything myself, but since I don't have the equipment to mount/balance tires at home, it's one thing I need to have a dedicated shop perform. I've been going here since another tire shop destroyed a set of wheels on my brand new car when I was having winter tires mounted back in 2008. Spencer and his crew took care of me and made things right, and I have been a customer ever since. They do road force balancing (better than the old style balancing machines) and they do the job right the first time, every time. They may not be as cheap as Joe Schmoe at the corner gas station for some things, but they know what they are doing and get it done the right way. Also, compared to some other tire places (ahem... Sullivan Tire), their prices are not bad at all! I recently got the ol' bait and switch on a simple tire mounting and balancing quote from Sullivan last week (called them because they are on the same street as my workplace and I was being lazy). I walked in and they quoted me a price which was not bad, and what I usually pay at Kenwood. I called about an hour later, and that price was about $60 MORE because they added on all sorts of BS fees (17" wheel fee, TPMS removal and rebuild fee which is completely unnecessary, and more). I should have known better. Never calling anyone else again! On top of that, Kenwood has a "Mobile Tire Van" that they can send out to mount tires anywhere, like those glass company vans that do your windshield at work. It does cost an extra fee, but even with the fee, it would have still been less than Sullivan Tire! If you live near their West Bridgewater location and you need tires, I highly recommend them. And like others have said, you can go across the street to Good Days restaurant and grab some great food while you wait! read more

Brought my SUV to Kenwood Tire after having another shop, located in Norton Ma, perform tire services to my vehicle (mounted and balanced 4 tires, 4 wheel alignment) After the work was done noticed a shake and vibration at 60 -70 mph. Brought it back they rebalanced the tires, seemed better but still not right. Decided to bring it to Kenwood Tire because of some work they had done on my vehicles in the past. (should have gone to them in the first place) They found the tires, that are directional rotation, were mounted the wrong way. They also checked the balance on each tire and found all 4 Tires to be out of balance. They remounted the tires (turned them around) and force balanced all 4 tires. The vehicle is now perfect, no vibration or shakes at any speed. Thank you Kenwood Tire. read more

Took me on short notice. Got me in and out quickly, but ran into an issue where my snow tire, likely due to it's age (8+ years old since manufacture), was ruined when being dismounted. My husband has been using Kenwood for years. He's a customer service stickler.. I'm more of a cost stickler. So I always thought he was getting great service but paying out the nose for it. Years ago I got my own tires put on elsewhere thinking I was saving money. I checked the price at Kenwood when I got home.. THE SAME. This recent purchase was for my 17 year old daughter's car. We had her go and have them put on (teaching being responsible for your own things). They treated her with respect and took care of her. I'd like to say I won't be going there again any time soon (who WANTS to buy new tires all the time?!?!) but with 3 drivers in the house and another just about ready it's nice to know Kenwood will take care of us. read more

Found Kenwood Tire after looking through Yelp. I am very happy I gave this place a try. I requested an appointment online via their website and received an email confirmation within 24 hours. Tara at the desk was great. Very friendly. The waiting room is pretty unique and comfortable with plenty of comfy chairs, free coffee and tea for customers, tons of magazines and TV. Although the wait was a bit longer than I had hoped for, I am okay with the time since they did a full 15 point check along with the oil change service and tire rotation I had requested. What made me 100% convinced I found the right place was the fact that after the service was complete, they informed me my tires will need replacing soon (which they do) but I didn't feel pressured at all to buy right away. It's rare that I find a business these days that deserve a 5 star rating in earnest. Kenwood Tire & Auto has truly earned 5 stars in two separate tire purchases I've made with them over the past year. Right off the bat during the quoting process I was really impressed with Bobby's product knowledge and friendliness. Pricing was fair and competitive, scheduling was easy, and available times were convenient. I was already a very happy customer. After waiting for four new tires to be mounted and road force balanced and a 4 wheel alignment to be completed I was delighted when they handed my vehicle back to me for four main reasons: 1) they actually properly torqued the lug-nuts to factory specs on wheel re-installation 2) they removed the old tires and mounted the new ones without damaging the alloy wheels in the slightest 3) they took the time to really do a nice job on the alignment and dial everything in very close to nominal settings. Not just close enough, but damn near perfect nominal factory measurements. Mind. Blown. 4) they properly set the tire pressures per the door placard on the vehicle I was thrilled with the entire process when they put my tires on my wife's car in January, and after putting new tires on my vehicle today they went even one step further being extremely fair with pricing and just plain outstanding to deal with. As long as Kenwood Tire & Auto keeps doing business like this I will be a customer for life. read more

I didn't tell them that I had been pricing out tires. They quoted me the same price as the chain store - on a BETTER tire. I thought I was close to needing brakes. I drive a VW Passat and sent my girlfriend in here for an oil change and tire rotation while I was working. The staff is extremely friendly, and made her feel very comfortable. Great breakfast place across the street you could walk to while your car is being serviced, too! Overall, good experience, only downside was the price - $105 after it all. Keep in mind, foreign car w/ special filter and synthetic oil, it would be far less expensive for an american made car or a honda or toyota). Would definitely go there again. read more

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with the service I received from Kenwood Tire recently! My beloved Chevy Aveo needed quite a bit of work done and I had seriously considered just trading it in and getting a new car. But, instead I made the right choice to fix it. It only took them half a day to fix everything, a wheel barring, shocks, struts, all new tires, and an alignment. They also replaced a headlight that was out. I had recently purchased new wind shield wipers but hadn't had a chance to install them yet, they were sitting on the floor of my front seat when I dropped my car off and to my surprise were installed when I picked my car up. That is just great customer service! I know it didn't take a lot to install those wipers, but it was something I really took note of! I don't remember the last time my car felt this nice to drive. It feels brand new again! The best part is, when I picked up my car and went to pay it was about $200 less than I was quoted...that's right, $200 less!! I do not recommend Kenwood Tire & Auto Service. My engine died and I took it to Kenwood, who recommended replacing it. They assured me I would get another 100,000 miles out of my car with a new engine. After it took a week longer than they said it would, I got my car back. My check engine light came back on a few days later. I took it back and they said that my transmission and catalytic converter just "died" on me ( A catalytic converter that they had replaced the year before). After towing it to another place for a second opinion, I was told that the transmission was damaged during the installation of the new engine. Kenwood claimed that the transmission wasn't damaged and that it just died on me. After spending over $4,800 on the new engine I tried to get at least get some of my money back by selling the car. In order to do this I would need the VIN number of the new engine. At first they told me there was no way to get it and then they said they would get it but, it wasn't until 2 months later with me calling every week that I finally got it. They deny responsibility but, two different mechanics have told me that are responsible for damaging the transmission. They were also very uncooperative in providing with the information I asked for, information which the state says they need to provide. I recommend finding another service station read more
