Used to be pretty regular here, but we grew tired of the menu that seemed to shrink every couple months. Came back as a comprimize with the family, after a very poor experience a few weeks ago at Lonestar. Menu offered a good variety, and service was terrific. Food was mediocre, but priced accordingly. Restaurant offers free WIFI. Take advantage of it for the online menu. I found the layout of the table menu difficult to follow, but online was simple, no frills, easy to read. Would be nice if the prices were online as well though. Will definitely return. read more

We ordered take out last night. 2 "Roadhouse seafood pasta dishes". The portions were ridiculously small for what you paid. I thought they gave us kids portion. They had 2 little chunks of salmon in each with a few shrimp. It looked like they gave us someone's leftovers. Also it came with no bread, nothing. We will never order from them again. read more

Was at this location the other day with my girlfriend, we ordered nacho's like we normally do at Kelsey's. Everything looked and tasted good but something seemed off about the cheese... After taking down about half of the platter, we got to thinking that this is not shredded cheese but quite possibly Kraft slices as it became hard and looked like melted squares in spots. However, service was good, place was a little dated but if they changed their recipe to real cheese I would go back again. read more

We had chicken parm and the lunch trio of Sonoma salad, chicken Alfredo and cheese bread. Everything was prepared exactly right and fairly quickly (it wasn't busy). The food was hot and sauces were plentiful. Portions are generous, no one is leaving hungry for sure. The waitress was fast, attentive, accommodated simple special request with pleasure. She is friendly without being saccharine. If you've been in the past you'll know her because she has been doing a great job there for a long time. It was cooking out and we were glad to have good A/C. The fireplace was off, of course, but still the old fashioned decor with brick and wood feels warm. Everything was clean. The upgrades are probably over a year old now, but this was my first visit since and it was lovely to see that there is more light - lighter floor, walls and a skylight. I wish there were less tvs, but I guess that's just a thing. Luckily, the noise level was average. Service was lovely. She was attentive, chatty and willing to provide suggestions when I wasn't sure what I wanted. I really wanted "to drank" so I got a two handed sangria, which was really yummy. Lots of ice, though so maybe more suitable for a long sit on the patio. As for my indecision, I wasn't sure what I wanted and nothing absolutely jumped out so I asked our server. Her first suggestion was more on the "healthy" side like the salmon or one of the salads but she also claimed the fried chicken got good reviews. I said let's do that. And I'm glad I did! It was delicious! The coating was crispy, the chicken moist and the gravy added an extra punch of flavour. Yummy! The mashed potatoes were fairly simple, but not lumpy so that's a win. I finished my plate quite quickly much to my surprise so maybe I was hangry too. Heh. My mom and I shared the messy ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert. Came in with a few of my buddies for the half price wings thursday. We sat at the bar and immediatly my first thought was that the service was excellent. Right away as we sat down the girl who was working behind the bar took our drink orders and handed us menus, checking in a couple minutes later to take our food orders. We all ordered 16 wings which was only $8.99 (on half price thursdays only) and you can order half one flavour and half another. We all ordered different flavours so we could trade a few and see which ones were the best. I ordered the honey garlic and guiness BBQ, my other friends ordered red stripe ranch and medium both of which I thought were really good. When I come back for more wings I'm definatly getting the medium sauce though, it was probably the highlight, I mean the guiness ones were ok but only for a few, but I wouldn't want them again on a whole pound I don't think. Anyways after ordering, our wings came out very fast actually, almost faster than usual, which I'm not complaining about lol. And of course they tasted amazing! Probably some of the best quality wings in a bar/restaurant, although they could use a few more sauce selections. The restaurant itself was surprisingly alot bigger than I thought it was and it was very clean as well. The service again was excellent, the wings were amazing and I will definatly be back for dinner or just some more wings and beer! read more

Overall: 2.5, rounded up because I'm a sweetheart like that. Food: 3.5/5. Half pan of nachos with chicken, $15. Good portion size. Decent taste, same thing as offered at every other chain. Salsa and sour cream come in those tiny black cups, not nearly enough. Drinks are expensive. Overall value is mediocre. Beer selection: 2/5. For such a big chain the Beer choice is surprisingly poor Beer itself is tasty, for what it's worth. Atmosphere (patio): 1/5. Music is way too loud. Came to have a relaxing time with the girlfriend, instead had Beiber blasting in our ears. The playlist is outdated and bad. Server told me she couldn't turn it down without turning it off. Better off turning it off. Got two splinters from the wooden booths. Two conjoined tables were both wobbly. Umbrella was good though Service: 3/5. Just finished a long hike and told the server upfront we'll have a couple beer and a jug of water. Said she'll bring two glasses of water and top us up if we need more. Flattened those waters and waited 10 minutes for more. Just bring the jug plz and thx. Server would ask us if everything is fine as she's walking by to another table. Is drive by service a thing? I'll take more salsa, another water, and less of this loud-ass Beiber, please. Overall, service was pretty standard for a chain. When you got a free meal card from Kelseys and you're going to that restaurant to get your free meal... Get ready to pay just a bit less of what you pay regularly ! $3.50 for barely a 8 once's coffee + a Pepsi at the same cost, it does not take long to add up. The plate has a lot of empty space... And quite tasteless food. The inside vinagar bottle cap that was at my table was black dirty, had to used a other one. Better recepes and better follow up on the cleanup needed. That has to be according to the price. Because without that free meal card, $20 +. No way Jose ! Few but good points and they are important. Good services and good ambiance. read more

omg yes loving the new upgrades they made to the restaurant. it feels so open and lighter gives a warm welcome feel. had the naked chicken fingers with side caesar salad and oh my it was delish. They even carry my fave beer Steam Whistle i am in total awwww and will for sure return. This is a cool location as its more updated than the old dull Kelseys most people are used to. Service was good which has typically never been my experience with other Kelseys locations. Had the messy fish sandwich - delicious option. Felt the prices are getting a bit high for Kelseys. However I would definitely return and repeat my order. read more

After a long hiatus from eating at this location, my fiance and I decided to give this location a chance after some sub par visits in the past. This location was renovated about a year ago and it looks great. Much more modern and a bit brighter than it used to be. The patio saw a huge upgrade and is always full (probably because it's the only one in the area). Our food was amazing. The menu has gotten a substantial upgrade in the last year or so which has set it apart from other similar restaurants. We started with the popcorn shrimp which were delicious, not too spicy, came out piping hot and there were plenty for the two of us to share. I had the Ultimate Bacon Burger which was delicious. The same burger in the past was quite greasy, but this time it was perfect. Lots of cheese, two types of bacon, and a much lighter bun than the previous version (the pretzel bun was intense). My fiance had the Messy Shrimp Sandwich, which he liked but wasn't crazy about. It did live up to its name, lots of shrimp, lots of sauce. And dessert, oh my god, was amazing. We had the messy cookie sandwich and holy crap this thing was huge! the cookies were easily the size of a small plate covered in chocolate and caramel sauce and stuffed with ice cream. Amazing. Service was quick and our waitress was lovely. She even filled my sangria right to the top of the giant bucket it comes in. This location will definitely returned to our regular restaurant rotation! read more

This location has been a favourite of mine since moving to the city for college over 5 years ago. Never usually a wait and the staff is usually college kids - super friendly and fun. They have increased their patio capacity to maximize profit and it's very nice. Tons of umbrellas and seating. We walked right up at 7pm and were immediately seated which is unheard of in London Ontario right now. Now why did I give 3 stars you ask... unwillingly. The staff was awesome, always are. It wasn't overly busy and they were doing amazing with sanitizing and serving. Again I state, the wait staff were not flooded - the kitchen staff however must have been. I was sat next to the window in the dining waiting room and observed at least 5 Skip/Uber drivers gathering delivery orders in 45 minutes. Cauliflower bites app was amazinggggg. Kelseys sized pint nice and cold. Table, wobbly. But we figured that out ourselves. I observed a couple stand up to go smoke, the wait staff told them to have a good night and informed them they left a coat. They said 'we are going to smoke, we are returning!' Fast forward... bus boy completely clears their table... they each had a half drank cocktail. I wasn't paying attention to what happened when they got back, all I know is they had brand new drinks before they even sat down. THE BIG REASON why they've received a 3 - is because this is not the first time my order has been wrong. I asked for the 'Chicken fried Chicken' which was a breaded chicken breast, veggies, choice of side. I choose this meal because it was the only breaded breast option. I have EDNOS and cartilage and bones/dark meat are... well, not my thing. They served me the Nashville chicken by mistake which was chicken drumsticks in Sriracha lime spice with a biscuit and side. my boyfriend ordered fries as a side and received a Caesar salad. I couldn't really eat my meal. The petty aversion I have to bones and cartilage ruined it, the anxiety of being a complainer during Covid was even worse. With restaurants putting out huge rants about 'being nice and not complaining' I was terrified to send food back. I'll be back. But I'm sad lol. read more

My family a I ate at the Kelsey's location and were sadly disappointed with the service, the food its self was satisfactory as far as Kelsey's goes, but the service was horrid. Our waitress only had 3 tables , she was inattentive , forgot aspects of our order, did not clear the table as plates emptied, and didn't seem to even care that 2 of the 3 tables in her section were in dismay as to her where abouts, she seemed to just disappear for extended periods of time into the kitchen. would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! read more

This place has really good service and food for the most part. Recently moved back here after living in another city where I would go to Kelsey's enough to remember how things are supposed to taste. Spinach dip - they over cook the pita chips making them taste like cardboard. Burgers - peppercorn - two 4 ounce patties stacked Jesus couldn't eat half of it was so messy and greasy. I've always loved Kelsey's but the past few times I've been there I've noticed they're getting very overpriced. I ordered a fishbowl drink which is supposed to be a large amount and it tasted like water, you would never know there was alcohol in it. The food is great don't get me wrong. But for the high prices you can go elsewhere for the same price and receive better drinks and food. Their slushie drinks are way too sugary and have made me sick in the past , not from the alcohol but from the amount of sugar in them. Again couldn't taste the alcohol and felt like I was drinking a slushie from a corner store with 10 times the amount of sugar. For $10 a drink I expect more from these drinks and not have them taste like I'm drinking a mocktail. Overall I do really like the atmosphere there and always have a good time there with friends. 4 of us went for dinner today and the place was dead when we went in, 2 other tables had people at them. The waitress asked us if the meal was ok 3 times after serving it. We made no complaints, but I will not be returning here. The hamburger was SATURATED in grease when it was brought to the table, the bun was coated in it and we were all covered in grease on our hands so badly we all had to go and wash up before we ate our fries. It did taste good, but I dont understand how a chef doesnt know how to make it so the bun is not covered in grease. You pick the burger up and grease coveres the tiny part of your plate that you can sit it back down on, so then your burger is more covered in grease. Even though the place was dead we were being served desert for the kids meals before the kids had finished even eating their fries. Not sure what the big rush was, maybe the wait staff was about to finish their shift, but that seems odd right before the dinner rush as we were a bit before the normal dinner rush time.
