My very favorite donut in the entire world is an Apple fritter. So on a Tuesday, after 11:00am, my Apple fritter was slightly warm and the best I've ever had. They even made fresh coffee for us, which was so sweet. Everything was really good, and I was impressed as was my husband. My husband was the one who picked up, and he just told me, not only were they really nice, but the entire place was very clean. We will be stopping by every time We are in town. Thank you to the owners for being amazing and running our new favorite donut shop. Edit: it's been a month since we first stopped in to Lake Donuts, so I wanted to update my review. As a Texan, I can 110% say this donut shop has the best Apple fritter in the whole state. Everything else is just as wonderful. The Apple fritters are handmade fresh every day, and it shows.
