    We celebrated a birthday!
    Bobbi L.

Had an awesome time here! The chef was amazing, friendly and entertaining. The staff was accommodating and everyone felt comfortable and important as the menu was tweaked to suit each guest. I would like to return on my next visit to Cancun and bring my family with me so that they can have this experience!

Hospitality was outstanding. This is definitely a great place to go stay if you are looking for a laid back vibe with a beautiful view. Staff is very attentive and really want to make sure that you are having a great vacation. It's centrally located where you have plenty options for restaurants that are walking distance. Overall, great area to visit.

Best hotel in Cancun. The staff is amazing. The services are excellent. The restaurants are very good. The rooms and public areas are beautiful. Highly recommended.

The friendliness of the staff is what made this stay so memorable for me. We still have a few days to go but I've been overwhelmed by the graciousness and hospitality of the workers here at the Kempinski. People are messy. They leave stuff every where. They are demanding. They want everything now and the way they want it. And the staff here is beyond accommodating. The pool areas are so well kept, bathrooms clean and the common areas are inviting. A few highlights for me: The complimentary yoga on Tuesdays and Fridays is a must if you want to see a beautiful sunrise while tapping into your inner core. The instructor was patient yet pushed us to go further into poses with confidence and reassurance. I found it to be an excellent amenity and would have gone every day had it been offered. It is a bit surprising more of these kinds of classes are not offered. No pool-based classes or other body work. It's a bit of a must nowadays. The gym staff is lovely as well! The breakfast here is amazingly good. It's a full buffet with an omelet station as well as table service. A la carte offerings as well. Full range of food but my favorite was the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Perfect way to start the day. Many thanks to Rudy for the wonderful outdoor service each day!! Angel! You are wonderful and I love my Chocolata Abuelita tablet!! We dined at Casitas last night and both the food and the service were excellent. The staff's concern for you is very genuine and they explain things so you know what you're getting. Wilbert helped us last night and he was just delightful. Pablo served us lunch the day before and it was so nice to eat outside with the breeze blowing and the lap of the waves feet away. We met some folks while waiting in line at the breakfast buffet and they invited us to join them for dinner at The Club Grille. This is exceptional fine dining with above and beyond service. Of course if you're used to the wait staff at restaurants placing your napkin on your lap then you'll view this differently yet for the average traveler this was quite an experience again made personal and special by the attentive and well-trained staff. I wish I could remember everyone's name but everyone is really equally friendly. We spent most of our days lounging by the adult pool. It is well kept and when the staff see you settling near a chair they will come and set up your towels for you. There is food and drink service but no pressure. We tried D Lounge one night and while I was not very hungry the Udon Soup hit the spot. The view is excellent and it's a nice way to wind down from a day of doing absolutely nothing. My husband went solo one night while I remained in the hot tub, and the saunas. He was very disappointed in his hamburger. Go figure. lol. The main pool has sunscreen. You'll need it. The sun is strong here and you'll burn quickly if you're not diligent. They also have a water station but the poolside servers gladly will bring water all day long if you ask. We splurged and rented a cabana one day! Highly recommend: you can email the concierge and reserve ahead of your trip to ensure availability. Some of the wonderful people we met said they booked them months in advance. Zenaida makes sure you have everything you need; waters, fruit plate, guac & chips come with the reservation. There's a hammock that is so perfect at the end of the day. This was one of the highlights of the trip for us. Thank you Reynaldo for your attentiveness and responsiveness and for the delicious yaxhá!! Set expectations appropriately. There is always going to be that family who has five kids diving in the hot tub while you're trying to chillax. Whatever. The long expanse of beautiful beach is steps away so take a walk instead. So far my absolute favorite treat has been the Tres Leches Cake at Casitas topped with Manila Mango. My goodness!!! So good. Very authentic. We also were able to order it in the middle of the day at the cabana! Talk about luxury! Is this property pricey? Yes. Yes it is. Just plan for it. Tip the staff well and remember for the most part, few of them are returning to homes with turn down service and chocolates on their pillows. ¡Hola! Gracias. Buenos Dias. Buenos Noches. A little bit of Spanish goes a long way here and staff are appreciative of the effort. Also we met really friendly fellow travelers. Perhaps the pandemic reminded us how important kindness and compassion for others is in this world. We enjoyed our stay here very much mostly due to the excellent staff. It's a bit of a dated property and my only suggestion would be to replace the lotion in the guest rooms with the same kind that's in the gym. First World issue, I know. The women's locker room is well stocked for a late day shower. Staff at the Kempinski earned all the stars of this review. Muchos gracias to each and every one of you!!!

You will not be disappointed with this hotel! It was 5 star customer service from the moment we arrived till we were dropped off at the airport. We LOVED this hotel so much, we booked another trip while we were still there! The staffs at this hotel are extremely helpful, and courteous. Everyone there made our stay a memorable one. We had the pleasure of being checked in and out by a wonderful lady (GMOLI732 - sorry I can't remember your name) who made sure that our room was ready by the time we arrived. And not only that, she made sure that our room had all the baby amenities that we need so we had the crib, bottle warmer, bottle sanitizer, and a high chair in the room waiting for us! Tips for travelers: Go down to the beach super early (I went down around 645-7am) to snag the blue lounge at the beach for only $35/day. They don't take reservation for those lounge; first come first serve. You can also make advance reservation for the big casitas for $235/day. Sand toys - they gave each kid a set of sand toys when you checked in so no need to pack these bulky items unless you want to. Forgot your sunscreen? No worries, they have stations thru out the pool & beach area with sunscreen and aloe vera just in case you get too much sun. Do book a casita ($100 fee) for dinner - it was an intimate and romantic dining experience (even with 2 kids running around). We had Marcos and David the first night we arrived and they were rock stars! Food - we ate lunch at the property for the whole week. My husband was hooked on the Yucatan Chicken Sandwich, my daughter who doesn't really like chicken loves their chicken quesadilla, and you can't go wrong with any of the grilled fish. And if you like spicy, be sure to ask for the habanero spicy sauce that the chef makes in-house - they should sell that sauce! I also love their Mango Chile Margarita - spicy and refreshing! We certainly also ordered quite a bit of pina colada. Seaweed - I read some reviews online complaining about it. We really didn't see any when we were there (Thanksgiving week) so maybe it only comes during the summer months? Not sure. Ocean - the waves can be rough but they do have 2 life guards on duty during our stay. We got lucky on 2 days when the ocean was calm. The life guards will tell you the areas where you can swim in. In-house photography - we loved them! They did such a good job especially with a raging toddler on the loose. Make sure you bring outfits to do family photoshoot, they charge $20/picture with no sitting fee and you get one free from your resort fee. I would suggest doing the shoot on a cloudy day so you don't squint your eyes too much. Book a couple of sessions on different days and hopefully one of them will be cloudy? That's how I would do it the next time we are there - Oct 2022! Restaurants - there are a few restaurants that are walking distance if you get bored with the options at the hotel. The concierge can help with reservations or you can do it yourself as most of them are available on open table. Shout out to David (the server), Marcos, Edgar and Reynaldo at the restaurant/beach/pool area. They took good care of us while we were busy sun bathing and playing in the ocean. Ruben, our bell guy remembered us through out our stay. Miguel at concierge was ever so helpful with all our needs and questions. Juliana who made sure our room was always nice at the end of the day. I only wish I can have my house cleaned twice a day! Thank you all for making our stay there a memorable one. A couple of improvements - they can add a little more alcohol in their drinks and they definitely need to change their baby wash & shampoo as both are not tear free. Found out the hard way so we stopped using them on day 2.

Amazing hotel with 5 star food and 10 star service. They had plenty of variety of restaurants and despite hurricane beryl, they pulled out all the stops to ensure guests were safe, well fed with rotating menu, and entertained. In their ballrooms they had beds set up for those not wanting to sleep in rooms with balconies due to the howling and tropical cyclone but also set up games. We almost didn't check in due to the chaos of the weather but decided to try to make the best of our two night stay and was the best decision thanks to this amazing and opulent hotel. Service second to none and have stayed at plenty of 5 star hotels in the world. The kids also loved the kids menu and the hospitality. Our 7th floor seafront view was amazing too!

Heads up this property is going to be sold so the Customer Service is nonexistent. FIND ANOTHER PLACE! Sadly this is no longer a luxury hotel. They only want to collect luxury prices but fail to make your visit luxurious. The hotel is extremely outdated and needs major renovations. I spoke with other people who have been visiting this hotel for years, drippy showers, bad plumbing and broken items. It takes the shower 10 minutes to heat up. The walls are peeling and the furniture is as old as the property. It's sad that the Management lacks customer service training to make up for outdated and actual issues. My family was stranded at the airport because the hotel failed to send a driver. Because of this we had to wait 2 hours at the airport to be picked up. Not one apology or phone call from a manager my entire stay, despite emailing them and calling them requesting to speak with someone. They offered zero accountability and being it was a holiday we didn't have any other options. Do your self a favor and avoid this place!

Five stars all the way! There is nothing I can say negative about this hotel. Upon arriving they take your temperature and sanitize all your luggage and bags. There's sanitizer all over the hotel if you need it. I was surprised to find they actually clean the rooms each day unlike every other hotel right now. The maids even change the sheets and bring tons of née towels each day. The rooms are very simply decorated but still very high class. We had an oceanfront suite and it was so worth it for the view. Every time we needed water or coffee, it was brought up quickly. They have rollaway beds but they cost $50 per night. The restaurants were all amazing. I highly recommend Fantino for a date night or special occasion. It's fine dining, yet very affordable. The bar by the pool made the best pina coladas. The Mexican restaurant did a breakfast buffet in the morning but we only dined for lunch. The tacos are delicious! Room service was the best. The food was well prepared, tasted great and was brought up quickly. The beach was very nice as well. It was well taken care of and had plenty of chairs or even cabanas. The towel service was nice to set up our towels and chairs for us. People do walk up and down selling stuff, but no one was pushy. There is a convenient store right across the street from the hotel if you wanna get cheap snacks or drinks or anything you might have forgotten. This hotel was top notch from the service, to the views and cleanliness. This is the only place I will stay in Cancun.

This is a review based on our one week stay at this resort in April 2022. The most relaxing lavish vacation to say the least. Coming back next summer for sure. Did not leave the resort, spent most of our time on the beach in the cabanas. Waiters at the cabanas and poolside were super attentive, incredible service. Pristine beach. If you're looking for a good place for dinner try Fantinos. Extraordinary service, great food and live piano. If too tired to dine out, we ordered room service-- delicious nachos. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic pool and of course the beach is impeccable.

The beach, the location and the crew on the beach are 5 star. The hotel is nice, but our room had a musty odor/sewer smell the entire stay. I called 3 times to try and get the problem solved, but was never communicated with as to the cause or what they would do to solve the issue. We also paid a premium to stay on the club level , which is an upgrade and includes food and liquor. The breakfast and lunch are fine, but dinner is a joke. Not enough food or staff...some of the "concierge " staff work hard to assist the staff, while others sat idly by on their phones. I think this service should be better. More than one night, they did not have adequate food for the number of guests...and they seemed indifferent as to the issue. This isn't on the level of service you expect from Ritz. Management should fix these issues.

After a lot of research, we knew we were going with a Marriott property (we have had good luck with allergy accomodations - daughter needs to eat gluten free - almost everywhere we have gone and stayed with Marriott). We looked at Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott Cancun, and Marriott Cancun. We ended up going with Ritz although in hindsight, I would have gone with JW as the JW and Marriott Cancun are connected so you have double the restaurants. In general, the Marriott website is HORRIBLE when trying to research menus. Vacation to us is great food and relaxing and having a family member with a food allergy, we always do a ton of research before deciding on where to stay. Once I found a contact for all hotels and was able to get in touch with an actual person, I started getting menus sent to me. This was so frustrating as I don't know why they don't post on website. Almost all menus do NOT include gluten free markings anyway. Every person I was in contact with basically said, Yes, Yes, Yes, we can accomodate any allergy and in the past, they have. The Ritz basically has 5 restaurants: The Club Grill (fancy, live piano), Fantino (did not go, very small menu), El Cafe Mexicano (buffet breakfast where daughter was able to order gf off menu), D-Lounge (known for sushi) and Casitas/The Caribe Bar & Grill (this is basically the pool side bar/terrace dining - during day it is The Caribe with it's menu and at night it turns in Casitas with a different menu. You can rent actual cabanas at Casitas on the beach for dinner for $100 or you dine on the terrace at no charge). Our first meal was at Casitas. At every restaurant, they ask you about allergies but that does not transfer over to your server always. When ordering and asking questions about what gf items my daughter could have, the server started with salad!!! My mouth literally dropped!! I had to go into Mom mode and explain to our server that I had been in contact with Marysol about our allergy, blah, blah, blah...in the end, he obviously got someone to help. My daughter ended up ordering a paella stew to share with her Dad and they even brought out gf bread and separate dipping oil for her. We also asked for gf sweet potatoes fries and without even asking, the server said they would be fried separately in their own oil!!! They were delish!! From then on, we knew we just had to ask questions (which is exhausting every time) and once we found someone who knew about gf, we had no issues. Breakfast at El Cafe Mexicano was amazing! They custom made her something every morning and made her gf pancakes to go along with it! Rest of family enjoyed the buffet...one of the best I've had! Angel was fantastic! The Caribe Bar & Grill - most lunches were pool side and went fine as well - we were able to get gf pizza and tacos. My girl is easy so pizza and tacos make her happy! Also, fresh fruit was a plus!! D-Lounge - they specialize in sushi and it was great! Very cool vibe! Club Grill was our fancy dinner and they were super on top of it! Even our amuse bouche was made gf for the table. Steak and mashed potatoes were fantastic! The corn lobster soup was amazing! Highly recommend getting the cabanas. Like I said, we were there to eat and relax!! Rental is around $230 and is from 9 - 5. Rental comes with guac, pico, chips, fruit plate and 2 water bottles. Service was great. They stop by with cold towels and complimentary fresh fruit popcicles. On the beach, they also have these blue covered chairs for rent for $70 and then of course the regular white loungers for free. We had no trouble getting the free loungers and staff will come put up umbrellas for you and you can get regular food/drink service there as well. There were also plenty of chairs by pool area too! We used the fitness center every day. It is small but served it's purpose. They offer coffee, tea, water bottles and fruit. They have a sauna and steam room which was a huge plus! Overall, a great trip!

Everything was fantastic but all the food on the property is really great! We especially loved to order lunch by the pool. All the cocktails are fantastic, even poolside! Rooms are standard JW with some of them recently updated with the others on their way to being updated. Yes, there is a sort of a musty smell in the air, but that's in most hotels. It's a very hard to keep those highly humid rooms from smelling a little musty. You just have to get over it and enjoy the time outside the room. Pools are super cute and the beach area is nice. There is an adult pool that is open during the day but wish it was open later! Lots of places in walking distance if you decide to venture out of the property but why would you need to! Easy drive from the airport and to the downtown or for departure to Isla Mujeres. We did not go to the island this time but last time we booked everything through the hotel and they made it super easy.

Some of the food had that stale, been-sitting-out-too-long taste, but the omelet bar and fresh juice/smoothie bar helped a lot. They have two omelet bars, which spreads people out, and Marco at the smoothie bar was awesome. He remembered me after my first smoothie and was friendly the rest of the trip. Azure was pretty good. We split hummus and pita, and I got the chicken in red wine. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came on a bed of mashed potatoes that were really good. Dessert was just okay. The baklava was very cinnamon-heavy and almost tasted like a churro. MB was good and definitely felt like their "dress up" restaurant. I had the stuffed chicken, my girlfriend had the veal cheek, and we also tried the filet mignon. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the meal overall was good. Not amazing, but one of the better dinners there. Hidden Garden was probably our favorite restaurant. We went there twice because it was that good compared to the other options. The samosas, gyoza, chicken satay, shrimp fried rice, and desserts were all really good. The Thao, basically their version of orange chicken, was also really good. The pad Thai was okay, but sweeter than I prefer. Their signature cocktails were also really good. The Thursday night show was a nice part of the trip. They had a buffet by the pool, with a mariachi band from 7 to 8 and traditional Mexican dancing from 8 to 9. The dancing was almost like a theater-style show, and that part was great. The buffet was on par or slightly below par. They had a crepe bar, a grill with pretty good steak and chicken, and a couple decent soups, but a lot of it still had that left-out-too-long, slightly stale buffet taste. The entertainment and activities were a big highlight. Trivia every night was great, and karaoke was a blast once people started getting into it. Pablo hosted trivia and karaoke with Jorge as the DJ, and Pablo brought a lot of energy. Jorge also DJs at Egos later at night, and they played a good mix of American dance music and Latin dance music. During the day, we tried archery, water aerobics, bingo, the guacamole class, casino night, and a self-facial class. Archery was a blast, and aqua aerobics in the infinity pool was really fun. Ricky was a ball of energy, and Jocelyn was really cool too. The activities did not feel like boring resort filler, which was a nice surprise. A few things could be better. Pool towel service closes at 6, even though people are still in the pool later. There is also basically no shade in most of the pools, so you get crispy pretty fast. They also need to be clearer about which pool beds are first-come, first-serve and which ones are paid or for Club Aqua. I saw multiple people get moved because it was not explained well. Communication could be better too. Some restaurants are closed on certain days, probably because the resort was around 50% capacity, but they should give you a schedule at check-in. We planned to try Verana, their Italian restaurant, and then found out it was closed that day. The humidity is something to think about. Obviously it is Cancun, but the indoor areas and hallways do not have much air circulation. Our fourth-floor hallway also had a broken water feature with sitting water, and I think that made the hallway smell more humid and musky than the rest of the resort. The drinks were decent, but I would not go in expecting strong resort cocktails. I drank margaritas and pina coladas most of the trip and never really felt much from them. For stronger drinks, shots are probably the better route. Overall, Live Aqua Cancun was a really nice, relaxing trip. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the activities were way more fun than expected, and Hidden Garden was a nice surprise. The food is not amazing across the board, the pool setup could be better, and communication could use work, but I still had a really good time. Good resort, not perfect, but definitely worth checking out.

The staff is genuinely friendly, always smiling, and quick to help with anything. Casa Madre became my go‑to spot for breakfast. Tons of options, fresh food, and something for every mood. After that, I'd swing by the coffee shop, which surprised me in the best way. They don't have the fancy frappes or over-the-top drinks, but their "Special Coffee" (fresh coffee mixed with cinnamon and honey) is perfect. Simple, warm, and honestly better than anything blended. For lunch, the taco stand and the Mediterranean spot right next to it were both solid choices. The chicken was super soft and flavorful -- exactly what you want when you're grabbing something quick between pool time. Dinner was where the resort really shined. Delphini had an incredible ocean view that made the whole meal feel special. And the Japanese hibachi night was a blast -- great food, fun show, and it totally hit the spot. Overall, I loved my stay. Definitely need to take stake on pool side chairs in the morning. We reserved cabana before we arrived. Online Marriott Experience app makes it easy reserve dinner and other things! They have several options of the usual themed restaurants. Casa Madra is the Mexican one and probably the least interesting, there were was an odd lack of salt on the chips and food :-) The Japanese combo restaurant (sushi and hibachi) appears confusing to customers and staff :-) Much of the sushi related menu appears to have an additional cost. I was told that the California Roll roll was extra, but the sashimi platter had a roll? The Diakon Maki was great. No chopsticks available for some reason close to closing? Hibachi was okay but I was missing the "yum yum sauce" :-) The unique beach side Delphina restaurant is probably the best and have some good dishes. Had a great red snapper catch of the day at the Hana restaurant. Two restaurants double for buffet style breakfast serving. The one at the Mexican restaurant is open to the outdoors, but they have hawk trainers to keep the birds away :-) The Champions sport bar is out by the main entrance door to the left. Open 12m to 12am. Damien is great. Pro tip: get a latte from the main lobby and top off with Bailey from the sports bar before the lobby bar opens at 4pm : Janssen has some cool tricks and drinks at the lobby bar :-) Very clean, staff of all levels picking up things everywhere. There is turn down service here, which I wasn't expecting. Large number families with kids, which didn't brother us. Count on a destination wedding party over a weekend stay :-) Coming here between the two US holidays (Thanksgiving & Xmas) there is a dip of occupancy to around 50% it appears. All in all positive and not a bad place to burn your Marriott points in my mind. It may not be a high-end all inclusive resort but will fit many just fine :-)

The reality was the exact opposite. Check-in took over an hour because staff claimed they couldn't find our Expedia reservation. Another person in our group had already paid for services through the resort's website but was repeatedly asked for additional payment. Our group spent an extra $1,000 on upgrades hoping to improve the experience. It didn't. The rooms were small, outdated, dirty, and not worth the extra cost. The food was terrible. We expected mixed quality based on reviews, but much of it was barely edible. Making dinner reservations felt intentionally difficult, and once we finally secured them, we were forced to sign agreements acknowledging additional fees if we were late. The biggest disappointment was the complete lack of atmosphere. There was very little music, almost no nightlife, and most activities shut down before 11 PM. We ended up leaving the resort almost every night so the boys could find entertainment elsewhere. What frustrates me most is how misleading the marketing is compared to the actual experience. After more than 15 years of booking travel through Expedia, I'm genuinely disappointed that Expedia continues to partner with and promote a resort that feels built around false advertising, upselling, and disappointing guests. We trusted the Expedia brand, and this resort fell far short of the experience it promised. Save your money and book somewhere else.

Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

This was not my first visit to Hyatt Zilara Cancun and it was actually my amazing experience here in 2019 that started my loyalty to Hyatt. I am currently a World of Hyatt Discoverist member, and after my first visit to Zilara, we loved the Hyatt experience so much that we chose Hyatt Ziva for our vow renewal in 2022. Because of that, returning to Zilara was something I had looked forward to for years. First, the staff at this resort deserves so much recognition. My concerns are not a reflection of the employees because the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. From before we even arrived to our final day, everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted guests to have a great experience. Before our trip, Eddie reached out as our concierge and was extremely helpful in making sure we were prepared for our stay. He helped coordinate our spa services ahead of time and assisted us with securing a late checkout, which made our trip much smoother and more relaxing. At check-in, Luis helped us on the World of Hyatt side and was wonderful. He explained the changes and additions to the resort, helped us understand reservations, and made sure we had the information we needed. Throughout the resort, the service remained consistent. Even when I had a meal I didn't enjoy, a staff member at the teppanyaki restaurant was genuinely concerned, offered alternatives, and wanted to make it right. That level of care stood out. Our room was excellent. We stayed on the fifth floor in a corner room and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and I loved the pillows so much I am actually trying to find out what kind they are so I can buy them for home. The bathroom was great, especially the mirror with multiple lighting options. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which I always appreciate. The only thing I personally missed was having a bathtub, but overall I had no complaints about the room. The resort itself is beautiful and extremely clean. The pool area is relaxing with comfortable chairs, and it was never difficult to find a place to sit. The atmosphere is definitely more quiet and relaxing rather than a party environment, which can be a positive depending on the type of trip you want. The beach was well maintained, especially considering the seaweed situation during our visit. The staff worked hard to keep it cleaned up, and the things outside of the resort's control, like weather and ocean conditions, did not impact my opinion. The spa was absolutely phenomenal and I wrote a separate review specifically for that experience because it deserves its own recognition. The gym was also impressive for a resort gym. There was plenty of equipment, treadmills, a stretching/yoga space, and even a Pilates studio. I was hoping to participate in Pilates, but the class filled up quickly. I thought the fitness offerings were a nice addition. Where this stay fell short for me was the food. At an all-inclusive resort, the food experience is such a huge part of the overall value because you are eating every meal on property. When we visited in 2019, one of our favorite memories was eating at Pelicanos by the pool, so we were excited to return there first. We knew things had changed since our last visit, but unfortunately the quality and options did not feel the same. We tried several restaurants, and while the service was always great, the food itself was disappointing. The Italian restaurant felt very bland overall, although the bread service and tiramisu were enjoyable. The cacio e pepe and pasta dishes did not meet expectations. The teppanyaki experience also was not what I expected. I was hoping for more of a traditional hibachi-style experience, and the meat quality was disappointing. The buffet was fine, especially breakfast, but nothing really stood out. Room service was quick and the staff was friendly, but again the food itself was not something we loved. My favorite treat on property ended up being the ice cream at the coffee shop. The biggest thing I missed was having easy poolside food options. When I'm at an all-inclusive, I love being able to relax by the pool and grab things like quesadillas, ceviche, or small bites without stopping the pool day. The lack of that type of experience was probably my biggest disappointment. Drinks and pool service were great, and the staff did a wonderful job checking on guests. I personally don't drink alcohol, but it was clear they were attentive with beverages. Entertainment was limited compared to some other all-inclusive resorts. There were some activities and a few performances, but not the larger

It had the best reviews for what we, as a family, needed. The whole point of the trip was to take our family, including abuelos, on a vacation everyone would enjoy. Being abuelos' first time at an all-inclusive, it exceeded their expectations and they loved the experience. They were able to get food and drinks as they pleased. For the kids, all they needed was a kid friendly pool, other kids to play around and they were happy. However, Fiesta Americana Condesa also offers a kids club from toddlers to teens. I do want to highlight how EVERYONE ( all staff) were exceptional from the moment we step foot on the property to the time we left. For our family, every eatery visited was well run, again all staff was super friendly and more than helpful with some even go your of their way to accommodate for reasonable food preferences, specifically, the Buffet. Are there things that can improve? Yes, of course there are, just as with any other hotel. Some of the fixtures might need updates, the gym could use 40 -45 lb (18-20kg) dumbbells and recovery equipment, Sushi Corner MOST DEFINITELY HAS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT and lastly, there could be more adult activities. But in reality, most people come to ALL-INCLUSIVES to drink to your hearts content, drink some more, then drink some more and maybe throw in some food somewhere. The central lobby bar didn't seem to be at a loss for patrons throughout the day. If you're looking for fun time, a good variety of food, adult and family friendly activities, and WON'T BREAK THE BANK then I'd recommend checking out Fiesta Americana Condesa.
