    Great customer service by Alec although the end result of service was not what I was hoping for. My Oil light came on. I thought that's weird, and scary since I've only had the car for 8 months, and I had my oil changed not that long ago. I took my car to my mechanic. He took a look at it, and said that it's out of oil, and since it is still under warranty I should take my car to the dealer. (He was kind enough to call the dealer and talk to the service department to explain what was going on, and to let them know what he found when looking at my car) What he explained to me was he thought that they would probably have to put in a new engine. OH, and he put oil in my car so my engine would burn up! I had to take time off work to take my car in, but was able to be seen quickly. After a quick peruse of the situation they couldn't find anything wrong, and highly suggested that I do a oil consumption test. The oil consumption test consists of driving around for 1,000 miles, come back, have them test the oil level, top off the oil, record the amount of oil used, then come back in another 1,000 miles UNTIL I reach 4,000 miles. At that point they would be able to determine what is going on with my car and go from there. You don't need to make an appointment to have your 1,000 miles oil consumption recorded, However, you do need to make an appointment for the last of the 4,000 miles. They will get in touch with Hyundai directly, to see what is recommend as far as service to the oil consumption goes. My car was using ¾ a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. Which I was told would probably have a "fail" test, therefore, I would probably have to have a new engine. After the time consuming 4,000 mile test, and because I didn't want to leave my car while they contacted Hyundai, the service manager decided that my car didn't fit under the "fail" category. WHAT! Why is my car using so much oil for a car that has low mileage, and is still under warranty? There was no better answer than... "It didn't fit under the guidelines set by Hyundai." I was told to keep an eye on the oil consumption by checking it around every 1,300 miles or so, and to top off the oil until it needed to be changed under Hyundai's oil change recommendations. I couldn't believe it. So now I have my trip mileage set to warn me when I'm coming up upon the 1,300 miles mark to top off my oil! I do believe I bought a Lemmon.

They are very honest and I didnt feel like I was going to get scammed. I was a little nervous walking up to a used car dealership. But everything went great. I even threw the invoice into chatgpt to make sure the pricing was well. The other amazing thing was, I bought front break pads from the Mercedes dealership and I asked them if they could use those and change them since I couldnt return it back. They said yes! This is unheard of. Most service companies make money off of parts. But these guys were great. The dealership was clean and everyone was nice. I do most of the work myself because I want to avoid people scamming me. I have already told 4 people about this and plan on posting about it on instagram to let everyone know. Companies need to know if you dont scam people and work with them they will get more business. But companies are trying to get as much from customoers. Thank you KC you were the best!     This is one of the first negative reviews I've ever written for a business, and I'm doing so after…read moremuch careful consideration because although I feel truly wronged, I dont want to make trouble for anyone. That said, having just made the first of many credit card payments for work I never would have had done given the full scope of what my vehicle needed, I feel compelled to prevent this from happening to anyone else. While the actual work done here seems fairly competent, the diagnostic process seems about as accurate as playing darts blindfolded. I brought my car in because it was creaking misfiring, and the check engine light was on. I told them that I believed my engine mounts were worn out and that I also needed a diagnoses for the misfiring. They told me that the cause for the misfiring was likely that my spark plugs and ignition coils were worn out, because that usually happens around 100k miles and my vehicle was past that. I agreed to have them replaced along with new engine mounts, to the tune of $2,600. I was told that after this my vehicle would be like a totally different car. The very next day, my car misfired again and the check engine light came back on. When I brought it back, they informed me that they don't have any way of knowing this fo sure, but I probably actually had a blown head gasket. I brought my car to a different mechanic shop who did a full and complete diagnostic from bumper to bumper and took photos of everything wrong with the car- from a blown head gasket to a leaking transmission to almost completely worn wheel bushings and a host of other problems totaling over $8,200 in addition to the $2,600 I had already paid at Red Rock Auto. Had I known this in the first place, I never would have paid $2,600 on a doomed old van that needed almost $11,000 in work done. I had to buy a new van and that $2,600 would have really helped with the down payment. I'm tempted to say that I feel duped, but I don't think there was any malice or fraud going on- just general laziness or incompetence in the diagnostic process that very negatively affected me.

About 50 miles away from salt lake we broke down and had to remove our hub in the middle of nowhere. We walked into this shop with hub in hand and were immediately taken care of, the shop was slammed but they made time to help us out and get us back on the road. As someone who works on their own vehicles and doesn't like trusting mechanics if I was local I would take any of my vehicles to this shop in a heart beat. I cannot Recommend this shop enough. They know their stuff and do quality work 11/10 would recommend!

We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services.     Took my 1500 eco diesel ram in to get my alignment, struts, both front axles and breaks done. I had…read moreissues after those were fixed and had to come back in and get my front differential replaced. Paid over $6.8k out of pocket to get everything fixed. 4 months later I hear a loud pop and my alignment is out of wack. Brought it back to Danny's auto and Cory quoted me $3000 telling me my entire alignment is out and I need the entire thing replaced. I was frustrated because they had previously worked on my entire front end and now they were asking me to pay an additional $3k. At this point I wanted to get a second opinion and they ensured me that any other mechanic would back up their diagnosis and my truck was safe to drive. So I took my truck into Cleggs auto in American fork. Here is the diagnostic from Cleggs: RESULT: Upon inspection i found that the driver front upper ball joint has almost fallen out of the control arm this is very unsafe and the control arm must be replaced, I also found that the passenger inner tie rod has play and must be replaced, These repairs must be done before a alignment is performed. Recommend driver front upper control arm Recommend passenger inner tie rod DO NOT DRIVE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE! The mechanic at Cleggs told me I was lucky my truck made it into their parking lot because the ball joint was so bad. He specifically said that they don't see them get this bad and it was very rare. Here is what they fixed at Cleggs: Remove & Replace Front Upper Suspension Control Arm (One Side) $218.09 Basic Four Wheel Alignment $119.95 Part Qty Total MOOG Chassis Products Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly 1 $143.66 Authorized on 7/12/2024 at 06:06 PM Subtotal $481.70 Est. Tax $35.89 Job Total $517.59 Remove & Replace Tie Rod Tech: D Johnson Labor Total Remove & Replace Inner Tie Rod (One Side) $117.43 Part Qty Total Precision Steering Tie Rod End 1 $118.56 Authorized on 7/12/2024 at 05:57 PM Subtotal $235.99 Est. Tax $17.58 Job Total $25 I was out the door with $822 complete fix compared to $3k that Cory quoted me for Danny's. Called Cory at Danny's auto and he said yeah our mechanic totally missed that and they thought there were "other" issues with my alignment so that's why the cost was so high. I told them that this could have resulted in a serious accident and this is serious negligence on their part. They had nothing to say and told me they couldn't do anything for me at this point. I don't write reviews but I felt this would be merited in hopes that it helps someone else who may be in a similar situation and to get a 2nd oppenion before taking your car here. Makes me wonder about the $6k I've paid for previous repairs and if those were legitimate. Either way I hold myself in accountability for not doing my due diligence prior to taking me truck to Danny auto. In my personal opinion the folks at Danny's auto are careless, negligent and someone is likely to get seriously hurt or worse due to incompetence.
