Made an appointment and went in to drop the car off. I got there and nobody was there except for the service writers sitting at their desks. Long story short , the service guy was rude . They didn't fix the car , it turns out they did a test on the car and didn't mention it till it was done. Then they said they would have to order the part due to it falling. So now I hv to go back when the part gets there . Funny thing was the guy told me all these recalls were ahead of me , but when you looked around you didn't see anybody there. I also asked about a sun shade they had on display in their showroom , the guy said it was $180.00 dollars ! I thought are you kidding....? Bottom line , they were slow , rude and expensive. And they didn't fix anything. My letter from Ford said that they had the part . Horrible. Every time I go here... disappointed. I actually wonder if the Ford employees work for the competition, it's that bad. The service dept is poorly managed, provides very little status updates, and is completely non-responsive. If this is because they are "very busy", I reccomend hiring more staff or use better technology. I am even more of an advocate for car manufactures to bypass dealers. I own a 2019 Ford Expedition that I purchased lightly used, and I've consistently brought it to this location for service because of the convenience and proximity to my home. For the most part, my experiences have been fine--until it came to a known issue with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. About three years ago, there was a recall related to faulty cam phasers. I brought my vehicle in, had the recall work completed, and assumed the issue was resolved. However, based on my own research, that initial fix didn't fully solve the problem. In fact, it took Ford multiple attempts over time to develop a proper solution with updated parts. Over the past few years, I started noticing a consistent rattling noise and brought it up during routine service visits. Each time, I was told everything was fine and nothing was wrong. Recently, I raised the concern again, and this time I was told the issue required "mandatory" repairs totaling around $4,000. What's frustrating is that this is a well-documented issue with these engines--yet there's no active recall, no warranty coverage, and no assistance from Ford. I even contacted Ford customer service directly, and they confirmed that the full cost would fall on me as the customer. After getting a second opinion, I found another dealership willing to perform the same repairs for significantly less--around $2,500 to $2,800--which raises even more questions. At the end of the day, I was hoping for a bit more transparency, consistency, and maybe even some goodwill, given my loyalty over the past five years and the fact that this is a known defect that took multiple iterations to fix. This experience left me disappointed. When there are known issues at the manufacturer level, customers shouldn't be left footing the bill entirely--especially after already addressing the problem once through a recall. read more

REVIEW oF LHMiller Draper Vehicle Maintenance Service 2/11/26 We've received the worst car maintenance service in our 50 years of owning cars! MAJOR CONCLUSION: Don't buy a Lincoln and don't take your vehicle to LHM Draper for electrical issue repairs! SUMMARY: We took our MKC to LHM the first part of November because the battery had a parasitic draw, causing the battery to always die. After three repair attempts, and a total of 43 days in their shop, and a total cost of $2600, the problem still isn't solved as of February 2026! In the first repair effort, LHM said the instrument cluster needed replacing. But after that action, the battery still went dead. Then in the second repair effort, they said the TMC module needed replacing. But after that action, the battery still went dead. Then in the third repair effort, they said the Lift Gate Module needed replacing. But after that action, the battery still went dead. So NONE of these Expensive module replacements solved the problem!! NOTE: After each car repair at LHM, customers receive a standard text message stating "This is Trent Newman, Service Manager. If there is any reason you can't give us a 5 star rating on the survey you'll receive, please reach out to me directly at 801.699.9841 before filling out the survey. I would love to hear your feedback." BUT .... After multiple calls to this number, where you only get a general voice mail, there is NEVER any call back from Trent! I even emailed him, but no response. I eventually spoke with assistant mgr Pedro, whom I asked if LHM would work with me on the high senseless cost. He said yes he would look into it. I ended up leaving the car at the dealer a whole week waiting for his answer! He exhibited no urgency to look into it, and in the end responded they wouldn't give me any special consideration/discount! ANOTHER NOTE: Interestingly, if you look at bad reviews of LHM Draper on Google, you'll see a standard response stating something like "We're sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. Please call me, Trent Newman, at 801.699.9841, so we can discuss the issue. We want to regain your trust." BUT... It's the same number as stated above, and you'll never get a call back. I think this is just a phony (perhaps AI driven) response, meant as a front to try and protect LHM Draper's reputation. I asked Pedro back in November why there are never any call-backs and he said he'd look into it. A little later he told me they checked and didn't know where that number came from! But it's still in use even now in February!! A quality focused organization, right!? A FINAL NOTE: After the failed third repair effort, LHM/Trent said they would send our car to the downtown shop "to have another set of eyes" look at it. When I said OK on Feb 3, Trent requested we give him one or two days to coordinate with LHM downtown. Well.... It's February 11th and we still haven't heard from him! LHM Service Management does the 'talk', but no quality customer service action occurs! And their electronics expertise.... Well??? read more

Where should I start? The fact that Ford manufactured its 2021 Explorer ST with only a single bolt holding the rear differential assembly in place? The "We replaced that already, so it's not something we'd do under recall" after it broke. The service reps not knowing who was handling my case, the service rep saying "we're not Ford" when I said that this issue was on them, not me. The 8:15 appointment where they haven't even looked at the vehicle by 3:00 pm? The service rep telling me "I'm not the tech. I don't know what's going on with your vehicle. Dishonest and go back on their word. We were looking at getting a new Bronco sport. We were quoted 2 prices on 2 different trims. We wanted to take the night to check with our bank on rates and see what would be the best option for us. The next day when we were ready to buy the car we wanted they raised both prices by $1700. Even with the paperwork we had with the quotes. Very dishonest and not a trustworthy dealership. If you don't mind driving we ended up buying our car from corwin ford in Nampa Idaho. Beware . Misled About EV Tax Credit I bought an EV from Larry H. Miller Ford Draper after being told it qualified for the $7,500 Clean Vehicle Tax Credit. The IRS later said it was ineligible, and after more than a year of trying to fix it, I found out the dealership never filed the required paperwork or gave me the Clean Vehicle Seller's Report they were supposed to within 3 days of purchase. Turns out my car only qualified for $4,000, but that was never disclosed in any of the dozens of conversations I had while trying to resolve it. When I finally met with Tyson Kobey, he denied that anything was wrong and made no effort to help. I eventually got the report, 14 months late. If you plan to buy here, get everything in writing. I took my car in for a scheduled appointment at 8:15 on a Tuesday morning. Was told by Dorieanne that it was "for the day". I left and waited to hear back. Wednesday midday I called and was told there's no information on my car. Wednesday afternoon I called again and was told I had to replace my water pump for over 2800 dollars. I asked them to check with my insurance to see how much was covered. Friday morning I received a text saying I should "probably extend my rental" because she couldn't get more information. Called again around 4p and was told she had left. I picked up my car on Friday- no repairs having been done and I reached out to 6 other mechanics who all quoted me 1200. Communication is terrible- prices are ridiculous- service managers are useless. Pedro promised a call back- never got one. On top of that, I encountered questionable practices regarding the interest rates on financing--it felt deceptive, if not outright fraudulent. The process was also painfully slow, with delays at every step, making what should have been a straightforward purchase a nightmare. To make matters worse, they sold me a vehicle without addressing an outstanding recall issue, which is both irresponsible and unsafe. I strongly advise anyone considering this dealership to think twice. The lack of transparency, professionalism, and attention to customer safety is unacceptable. I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to others. Worst experience I've ever had, I don't leave reviews often, but this was just ridiculous. I have a Ford vehicle and needed to get it serviced. I scheduled an online appointment - they failed to say anywhere that they come an hour before so they came at 9 and the car wasn't outside. I called to then make another appointment at 2pm (they personally made the appointment over the phone). They picked up my vehicle at 11am Monday. I get a call at 7am Tuesday, I called back at 12 just for them to say they did not know what needed to be done and did not have an appointment for me. Really? I tell him what needs to be done and never hear from them again. Today is Wednesday, I had to call TWO times to finally see what the hell is going on and to demand that it be fixed today. They just diagnosed and started working on my vehicle today after having it for two days! Funny how when I called the first time Braedon could read my appointment time and appointment notes back to me from Monday, but the manager Rhett insisted that they didn't have that information. $1240 later and a measly $115 off, they did my emissions but failed to charge me for the tags so now I guess it's off to the DMV. I will literally buy a new car from another dealership before I ever bring my vehicle back to this service center. This dealership is absolutely horrible with out of state registration and have "forgotten" to send paperwork TWICE, and filled out the registration paperwork wrong. I brought my 2018 F-150 in because it felt like the transmission was running rough. WITHOUT a diagnosis, they told me that I needed a new transmission with a cost of $9500. Within 24 hours after we picked up the vehicle the same symptoms occurred. After then diagnosing the issue, I was told that all the vehicle need was spark plus and coils for another $1200. I purchased 3 oil changes for $165. & asked if they expire, & the business manager (Mike) said no they don't expire. I got an email last week saying the remaining 2 oil changes are expiring this month. I have only 8,500 miles on the car, so I have only used one oil change. Went down to the dealership & talked with the other business manager & he said, "there is nothing we can do for you." While buying the car I had other issues with the business manager adding things I did not ask for, but I won't go into that today. "We don't want to waste our resources on you since it's not a major issue" Had some CSP (Customer Satisfaction Program) F150 electronic campaigns to get taken care of. Dealership told me they won't fix it until they can prove it was a problem. They kept my truck overnight to see if any problems arose, of course telling me the truck was perfectly fine. I encouraged them to test the door actuators and tailgate, which is what the campaign problems were. One of their techs and a salesmen said to me, "We don't want to waste our resources on you since it's not a major issue." They actually ended up making things worse. My electronics are extremely buggy, first off that's the problem with "fancy" modern cars. And second, because ford went with a power tailgate, it will not open if the truck is running. Makes no sense to me, but I now have a truck that works like a truck half the time when it is not running for everything to function properly. Would not recommend this dealership. In October a Ford edge I bought from this company tranny went bad. it took them all the way to the week of Thanksgiving for them to fix the tranny, transmission mount and a broken transfer case, which after the powertrain warranty covered, I still ended up forking out $1400 Then in February, the just replaced tranny went out. They gave me a song and dance that they had to prove to the company they got the tranny from it was bad. I was then told my tranny would be here March 18th. and I have not heard anything since. We had been looking for a good deal on a preowned ford explorer for over a month trying dealerships and Facebook marketplace all over the country. We purchased the "maintenance package" which included oil change, tire rotation, inspection and car wash - 3 times per year for $90. They returned our car unwashed and sent us home with zero information. the service report only has a generic copy and paste statement and nothing else. Three weeks later our brakes are squealing and then grinding so we took it to Les Schwab by our house and found out our brakes are metal on metal and we have to replace pads and rotors. I called the Ford dealership and asked why an inspection wasnt done and they said it was and there were a list of recommendations. When I explained that no one recommended anything and nothing is on our paperwork his answer was "didn't you get a link?" A link?!? he said they have notes that you need to replace your brake pads and several other recommendation. I asked why no one told us when we picked up the car and he said it just depends on who you are working with. WHAT THE HELL is the point of bringing it in if you aren't going to tell me what is going on with my car? and NO we didn't get a link. Even if we would have, we would have assumed it was a survey. My husband was looking to buy a new car to replace his aging SUV and while we were up in Utah for a week relaxing at our vacation condo, we stopped by this dealership to check out the luxury line of Ford Explorers. From the moment we stepped foot inside, it was obvious this dealership wasn't going to be a good match for us. As soon as we opened the door, we were confronted with pure chaos. There were at least a dozen customers in the service waiting area with a bunch of kids running wild. I don't want to sound snobby but it wasn't the most pleasant atmosphere and made a very poor first impression. Even CarMax provides a better atmosphere! We were quickly greeted and immediately taken to a table to sit down (this was before a salesperson even bothered to ASK us what we were looking for). A slick young guy pulled out the dreaded four square sheet and started asking about our desired monthly payment and our annual income. Whoa, fella, don't you want to know what kind of car we're interested in first? When a dealership tries tricks of the trade like this the second you get in the door, you know they're going to rip you off -- or at least try to price gouge you in some way. It also makes a poor impression as to the caliber of customers that patronize the dealership. It was also crystal clear that we weren't the type of buyers they're used to dealing with here. Huge mistake on their part, I'm sorry to say. Hubby ended up buying a new Mercedes GLE instead and thanks to the idiotic sales tactics by this Larry Miller Ford dealership, he didn't even get to put the Explorer into serious consideration. When I asked to speak to the manager Phil, I was told I have to come into the building to talk to him, he refused to talk to me on the phone. I am 2 1/2 hours away and tried explaining that, and they didn't care, just kept saying they'd only discussing in person. I've got kids in school & 2 jobs I don't have 5 hours+ to come in. Worst experience I have ever had at a Dealer. I gave them the year, model, trim etc I was looking for and showed them a truck on their website that matched the specs. I was told they had just the vehicle for me, as a matter of fact it was the truck I showed them on their website. I was told I couldn't look at it because it was getting detailed and the wait would be ten min. This went on for over an hour. We had submitted our first offer based on pictures they showed us and they had countered. Another 30 min passed and we were then told they weren't sure how much longer the detailing would take. After another long wait we were told they had sold the vehicle to someone else. What a complete waste of time. We felt totally used. I had purchased a brand new Ford Expedition from this dealership back in 2020 and would have expected much better treatment for a returning customer. I should've read all the reviews before I bought my truck from this place. I am in South Florida and I saw the truck online and put a deposit on it within an hour. I explained to the sales person Eric that I would be coming from Florida and everything needed to be done by the time I got there because I have a long trip in the amount of 34 plus hours in very bad weather being that the roads were snowed and ice slicked. Nothing was done when I got there and that cost me 7 hrs there but cost me an extra day on the road and an extra night hotel stay. When I got there the truck just got back from the body shop, the truck was filthy, and was not finished properly after I was told it being detailed. Lol this was a stalling trick to "CPO" the truck in hrs. Ford said it was CPO but it was not inspected properly from the certified preowned mechanics or this list of issues following would not be present. The back right shock was completely blown out and leaking oil which chopped up the back tires and made the trip back unpleasant. The batteries were completely toast and leaking battery acid and left me stranded. The wheels made contact with the front bumper at full turn and sliced the tires. (I had to heat the bumper and bend the lip inward so I could make it home) The truck vibrates at 70 to 80 miles an hour really bad like it's gonna throw you out the truck, sunroof was cracked which they did pay for, tailgate step is missing the latch which I paid for but they told me FORD would replace here in Florida under warranty. The truck also smelled like burnt oil, I thought it initially was the detailing on the motor because they sprayed some oily crap on there. That was only part of that truck that was clean. However it's at Ford as I update this and it has a manifold leak. The truck had no mats smh, but they gave me a credit for it. They pull my credit 10 times at least after they initially pulled it and we cemented the deal. Ford service there wants to do nothing to help. They told me things will be covered and after speaking with Ford here in Florida find out this is all a lie. I will be checking with my attorney to see if there is anything I can do. Mind you it was snowing there when I got there and I really didn't get a chance to go through truck completely. However they were trying to push me so hard to buy the truck and tried to cover up issues that I found after the fact. Stay away from this place, if you can't buy a Ford from Ford especially certified preowned then I'm sure you can't buy nothing else from there. You have been warned stay away! Update: I received a response from Christine from Larry H Miller Ford here on yelp. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her as she is a customer satisfaction rep for Larry H Miller Ford and I also posted pictures. I will post receipts and text messages between me and the dealer soon. I am supposed to receive a call back from someone as she is supposed to talk to all involved in the sale. If no response is received I will keep taking this to the top. I was supposed to receive a call back from the sales manager Andre yesterday which I obviously never received because that's the way they do business. I was told from Eric the service manager that nothing could be done for me and I had to go through sales. He was walking over to Sale's to talk to Andre so I wasn't getting the runaround anymore and I still never received a call back. That seems like a run around still to me. Also when I call and ask to speak to a manager they keep handing me over to Eric the salesman who has no power whatsoever over there to make a decision nor can he make a decision. They have caller ID and unless you call from a different number you're gonna keep getting put to the person who bought the truck from. My next step will be posting it on all of social media all the news sites whoever I have to to bring attention to the way the customers are being treated. I'm already paying for the issues on this truck so it cost me nothing to put my experiences out there. This company deserves a negative 5-star rating. They were incredibly unhelpful. I don't even ask much. Talk to me like a normal person and not a target. Once you sell me a car (magically), I'm immediately forgotten. No one cares about any problems. You can't get ahold of your original salesperson. It just doesn't matter. They truly give the name that used car salesmen deserve. I gave them another shot (dumb of me, I know) and it was just as bad. I've found somewhere else where I will be buying all of my cars from. The sales man Angel was very nice but didn't seem to know the 2021 Explorer very well. We decided to purchase the vehicle and filled out the application. That's when the hell began. I had a credit score of over 700 and they pulled my credit so many times that my score dropped over 30 points. We started this on Saturday and we're told Monday we would have an answer. After calling on Monday the finance man, Michael Holmes would not return my call. I tried calling again on Tuesday and was told Michael was with a customer but would call me back, he never did. Angel assisted us in finding out what was going on and we were told Thursday for sure. Thursday came and I called again in the afternoon and was again told he was with a customer. Finally Mike got back to me and we went in and signed the documents. I love my car but will never give them my business again. read more
