came in for a last min appt, online booking was so easy and gives you an estimate. I appreciate the follow up call as I was running late Location is by the corner, entering the parking lot was tricky for me since gps wanted me to cut through the gas station but is blocked off --fyi Super pretty interior and was greeted by staff. Tammy was patient with me and really took her time(: inspo pic & her work attached They offer multiple payment options as well (Zelle, Venmo)

Called ahead to make sure they could schedule an appointment for me for a pedicure. The location is okay but parking was full and I had to wait for someone to leave, as this is a shared lot. Temp inside ran sort of warm. Pedi options were okay. Got gel cateye and the pedicure was just meh. No paraffin wax or massage. I won't be returning.

This is my FAVORITE nail salon! The techs are very knowledgeable about their products and what will work best for what you want. They have never told me they can't do a design or style I want. Anna is so artistic and kind! She's made my wild nail dreams come true! Highly recommend coming here if you have a special nail design in mind.

Just a quick update to my prior reviews. They still offer great service. The technicians are friendly and do a great job. The shop is clean and bright. The massage chairs are comfortable and work great.

What seemed to have been a nice nail set quickly proved otherwise. I was very displeased with this set...granted it was my first visit I was definitely expecting better considering the reviews. The shape is inconsistent and very stubby, the acrylic wasn't taken to the top and is very uneven/bumpy ....it already looks as if it needs a fill. To then be told this set cost $75...I was shocked. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Kevin did another thorough job, this time for my birthday nails! It was time for the Valentines gel nails to go, which surprisingly lasted a good 3 weeks with minimal chipping (compared to another place where it started cracking / flaking off within a week). I originally wanted to do a regular polish (for ease of diy removal before another gel appointment for a special occasion / spring break travel later) but I got talked into gel ($45 vs $35), and glad I went with it. The vibe was quieter this Friday afternoon and I was able to walk in after checking for availability on yelp. Loved the shape & how the color turned out (#240 Mermaid - Sea Seashell).

This was day two of my search for a nail salon that would be able to create the design that I wanted, and I'm glad that I waited. Ly helped me with my nail design as she saw the picture I had, and proceeded by bringing out a container of glitter and Jewel assortments. A nice man helped me with my pedicure. Initially, the color that I picked wasn't as lovely in person so he helped me pick another one. He also noticed that that my toenail had a crack and so he helped glue it back together. Overall, I am glad that I came here today. It was a relaxing experience and the people were very helpful.

I didn't have my nails done for a whole year during Covid lockdown. My nails look horrible to say the least. Finally got the courage to come get my nails done again. The host was very nice and offered soft drink to me right away. I saw nail techs cleaned their stations well before sitting new customers down. I don't mind waiting a bit longer, safety always comes first for me. My tech, Julie, is very courteous and highly attentive to how I want my nails done. Definitely will go back to this place, and don't forget to tip generously with cash. read more

I just went here earlier today and knew I had to write a review ASAP. I was in the neighborhood and searching for a place to quickly get my nails done. I'm not normally picky when it comes to my nails but thought, "Sure, why not?" There was roughly about a 5-10 minute way being it is a Thursday afternoon, not super busy. I was taken care of by Ashley. A nail salon I went to, I asked for oval but pointy (I had no idea how to explain it but I provided photos) and I wasn't satisfied. I described it the same way to Ashley, sans photo, and she did it exactly how I wanted it! She was so thorough and really paid attention to the details. The service was absolutely amazing. The place was super clean. I'd definetely come back again and request Ashley. Pro-tip: Bring cash to tip! read more

Tom was awesome! Got an appointment at the time I needed it and didn't need to wait when I arrived. With three jobs and a LO, time is of the essence. They do a fabulous job for reasonable prices (esp in this area). Today Tom was especially great bc he was gentle and kind! I know these small businesses don't like people to use credit card but I rarely carry cash around with me and like that he didn't give me this face of horror when I asked to use cc. It's little things that make customers become loyal. The best part is I hate my feet but my toes look AWESOME! Thanks Tom! I'll be back :) read more

After finding this place on Yelp, I decided to give it a try. My nails were messed up from a different salon so I was very hesitant about trying a new place. However, I loved my service here! I got gel nails for $30 and 2 weeks later my nails still look great and totally in tact! The employees were friendly and did exactly what I wanted. I just went on a vacation where my hands were constantly being used and scratched but my nails have remained perfect! Very happy with my service here and will definitely be returning. read more

Appointment was simple and easy. Jamie keeps track of all appointments and the first thing they do when you walk in is confirm your appointment. If you don't book an appointment then you might get turned away just because they do get busy quickly. Tam did my nails, she is really quiet and doesn't talk much to you. By the time I walked in to leaving the salon with dried acrylic nails was 45 minutes. Couple of nails look like rushed work but quality is alright for $20 acrylic fill. read more

First time coming here and I'm super impressed! I didn't get the lady who did my pedicure but she was super nice and gentle. I'm not much of a talker and she didn't make me feel uncomfortable for not talking. My toes came out super cute! The lady who did my gel manicure was named Annie. I could tell she was very popular as she had done other ladies nails before me. Overall, I would recommend this place. My aunt has been going here for a few years now and I can see why she'll drive out to dublin for her manicure and pedicure. read more

I'd like to start off by saying I HATE writing bad reviews. I've been coming here for the last 5 months because it's convenient. Most of the time, i get my pedicure done by Jenny, but because they were so busy, they had a man whom I've never seen before do my pedicure. He started with taking off my gel by filing my toe nails down with the electric filer, but continued to file them down for minutes after the gel was already off. I thought it was odd as I've never had my toes filed down so much before. . After that, he proceeded to grab another filer tip to continue filing AGAIN! I had to stop him in his tracks and ask him what he was doing??? He said he was removing the gel, but CLEARLY the gel was already removed, so I told him there's no need to continue to file. He then dipped my feet back into the water and started to cut my cuticles.. I started feeling burning sensation from the hot water and that's when I realized he's filed my nails down too thin.. meanwhile, he cut my big toe cuticle so hard I started to bleed profusely! I am here trying not to overreact as he tried to dump some type of powder on my toe to stop it from bleeding, but touches my actual toe with the powder bottle?!! Like GROSS! How many people do you think he's touched with that bottle?? And directly on my cut? Wtf? I literally started to cry because I was so angry trying to hold in everything I had not make a big scene. The girl who I believe is the owner then notices, and comes over to see what's the issue. I tell her the problem and that I no longer wanted to continue with my pedicure. She later comes back to me as I'm working on my acrylic fill and tells me she thinks I should continue with my pedicure, that it would help the pain since the gel will "thicken" my toe nails so I agreed, as I knew If I came home with my toes undone, I would be livid. She had someone else finish my pedicure and charged me full price anyway. I was so turned off by that but I held my composure since I agreed to move forward with the service. But to add insult to injury, she walked me outside and handed me a certificate for 20% off my next pedicure and said "I hope you'll come back again" WHAT?! WHY WOULD YOU NOT GIVE ME A DISCOUNT FOR THIS SERVICE TODAY? Because of that, she lost a customer and will definitely NOT be coming back. read more

LOVE this place. I have been looking for a good nail salon since moving from Texas in 2013. I used to get my nails done monthly when I lived there and when I moved to Cali, it was so hard to find a place that would give me what I wanted so I stopped getting them done. After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures on here, I decided to give it a shot. I walked in and was able to get the pleasure of having Ken do my nails and he was awesome. He did exactly what I wanted and better. I also got lucky and had Binny do my pedicure and she definitely lives up to her reviews. I will definitely be back :) read more

Great job! I had to find a nail salon while on a business trip. I found this salon on yelp because it was close to my hotel. Made an appointment, didn't have to wait at all. The salon does not smell like acrylic at all. Cindy was very nice and did an amazing job on my nails. She was very patient because I switched polish color a couple of times. Lol. Annie did a great job on my pedicure.....very thorough! The price was very reasonable for both services (less than I pay in Atlanta!!) I will, for sure, return. read more

Fast, friendly, efficient, the usual. Made a last minute appointment and they welcomed me with open arms. I am slightly disappointed that a small fragment of my old polish ended up staying on my nail. It's visible through the clear part of the French manicure I got today. It was small enough that I didn't notice until after I left the salon. Ps, last mani that I posted about started chipping right on the 3 week mark. I'd call that a win. read more

I came here needing a quick gel manicure and toe polish change. I called almost at 6:30pm but Ken was so nice and accommodating that he still took me in when I arrived at 6:45pm. There were 2 technicians that attended to me. The polish change on my toes was quick. I didnt want to ask for a full pedi bc of how late it was so the tech was fast and prompt. The tech who did my gel mani however didnt do as detailed of a job as I wouldve liked. I had to ask her to fix two nails because the gel polish was sticking to my skin, which as I know from experience, if I left it like that, it would crack and break off much sooner. So the tech had to cut it with cuticle scissors after the gel had set which was a bit botched. At this point, it was past 7 so I didnt want to complain since they already accommodated me, but I hope next time the tech is more detailed. I shall visit again and review my next visit to let you know! I also only go to nail spots that use disposable toe bath buckets for sanitary reasons. Not sure if they do this here but Ill have to check next time. Coming from SF, I would say the prices are much better here than the city. This is why I would rate this spot 4 stars for the decent pricing and quick service. read more

I am so glad I tried this salon out! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I booked my appointment with Ken 2 weeks in advance as I knew he would be too busy for me to come as a walk in. He promptly seated me and I showed him a picture of the kind of nails I wanted and began. He is such a perfectionist I love it! He gently files the nails and takes his time to make sure I have the shape and length I want. He doesn't rush the process at all and really leaves you with a perfect set of nails. I got acrylic with gel which was $38 before tip. Paying with cash is a preferred payment option here but they take card as well. This is OFFICIALLY my new and permanent nail salon! read more

I'm glad I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment. They're pretty busy closer to the weekend, so I suggest calling ahead. It was relaxing going here compared to my regular place in Southern California (I'm visiting the area). The workers can hold conversations with you or just be quiet if you don't feel like talking. I had a regular mani/pedi and was surprised by the hot stone massage for the pedi which is clearly stated is included in the pricing. Sam and Ken are great, I really like how my nails look and the cuticles are nicely cleaned out. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in town. read more

I was directed to sit at the manicure station....and I waited there for 30 mins. The person that was doing my nails was harsh with my hands, and did not acknowledge me. She kept looking at others and talking while doing my nails. She didn't even offer me anything to drink. I heard other employees talking to their customers with respect and offering them something to drink. It was awful. I just wanted to go home. I forgot the persons name that was doing my nails because she didn't even tell me what her name was! She was just so RUDE! I'm never going to this place again. This is my second review ever on Yelp, and just want people to be aware of such service at this place. read more

My friends and I had high expectations. Came all the way from LA for a wedding, but our overall experience based on the customer service were pretty much unpleasant. One of my friend's finger tip was bleeding during the trimming?! Without apologizing either! Seriously Me and my another friend's nails look pretty good, I don't doubt their skills for creating the art on nails. My friends and I feel forced to when we make the payment, it was very embarrassingly annoying. Hard to communicate with one of the artist because of her impatience! Make sure to tip them in cash probably will make them happy. Lol. read more

I've been here a few times now and I can't go anywhere else. I've had Ken do my acrylic sets a few times and he's amazing. Today Tammy did my pedi and my acrylic set and she's so good. They're both amazing at their jobs. Once you go to them, you'll never want to go anywhere else!! Today I paid $60 for a full set and a pedicure. When I do just acrylics it's $38-$40. read more

Came in for the second time today, as my first experience was good. The gel nail polish lasted long enough. But today for some reason the nail technician managed to cut my hands (edge of nail bed) at several places..the thumb is so badly cut at places that it hadn't even stopped bleeding yet even 15 mins after my manicure. I paid and left without really complaining much, but this is so unacceptable. read more

Love this place so much! I've been for a full set in gel, a gel pedicure and a fill in hell. Pretty busy on the weekend so I recommend scheduling a day in advance or in the morning. The best time to to go during a workday in the afternoon because there aren't that many people. They take such good care of you and are very detailed and attentive to what you want. I asked for a slight coffin shape during my fill and I got exactly what I wanted! I've found my go to spot for sure! read more

The best salon I've been to so far. I had Helen and she was very nice and did really great quality nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it ended up looking exactly like the photo. Took her time to make them look really nice and was very sweet in the meantime. The salon also had great protocols for Covid and I felt very comfortable there. read more

I got time today to let everyone know that you should NEVER step foot in this salon! NEVER. I was going on vacation and my tech cancelled on me last minute. So in searching for same day I found this place. I never do my nails out I just stick to gel manicures at home. I decided to get hard liquid gel nails so they could last longer for my 1 month vacation. I called in and asked if they did hard gel liquid nails and the lady stated they did and it was 48 I said great put me in. Once I arrived, the nail tech who I believe is Jenny or Lyn stated that "it takes too long to do hard liquid gel nails and it's $20 more" I stated that's not what I was given as the price over the phone. I specifically wanted these nails because i didn't want to damage my real nails and I didn't want to put a fake nail. Unfortunately that's exactly what she did, fake tips, hard builder gel on my nails. Stuff burned my real nails and came out nothing like the photo I wanted! Which is ironic because I showed her a photo of nails I saw from their salon which she stated she had done for someone! My nails were uneven AND thick and chunky. DO NOT COME HERE. They're not honest with their pricing and they won't even want to do what you want because "it takes too long" I spent $65 for nails that's didn't even last me a week!! THEY DIDNT LAST ME 3 DAYS!!! I was livid!!! I should've just taken all the red flags and did my nails at home. At least they would've lasted 2 weeks with gel!! RIDICULOUS!!! read more

Gel nails last for 4 weeks!!! All the ladies are super sweet and Ken does a really good job of running the place-- he takes appointments AND does awesome looking nails! I've been a loyal client at Ken's Nails for over three years now, and I cannot recommend this place enough. From the office manager to the staff, everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. Their customer service is unmatched--they always go the extra mile to accommodate appointments and provide the best possible experience. Recently, there was a little miscommunication on the length I wanted for my nails and it's nobody's fault, I was a bit confusing with my request. While they still looked beautiful and perfect, they were a different length than I expected. After I mentioned this the next day, the team immediately reached out, offering to fix them to ensure I was completely satisfied. I didn't need them fixed since they still looked great, but the fact that they were so proactive about making sure I was happy really stood out to me. No other nail salon has ever gone that far, and it proved to me that Ken's Nails truly cares about their clients. They understand how important nails are to a woman's energy and self-confidence. The entire staff here is incredibly hardworking, dedicated, and attentive, making sure every customer leaves happy. What's amazing is that over time, they get to know your personal style and preferences, which makes every visit feel even more special. Still, it's always helpful to show your nail tech a picture or idea of what you want, as they see so many clients each day with different requests, and it ensures you get the exact look you're going for. This place is racist and incompetent. They argue with customers (especially Black customers) for asking for what you want. They only want to do what they want. I asked the nail tech Kim to cut a little shorter and keep the same shape and she got an attitude with me after pretending she didn't understand English. She kept insisting that I told her I wanted my nails shorter even after I told her she cut them too short. Then she asked the lady at the register Michelle to come over and starts lying and saying that I'm not letting her do her job. Anytime I tried to express myself they both over talked me. Kim started to get disrespectful when I reminded her I was the customer and I should be able to ask for what I want. They started being racist. Michelle even told me I was drama and unladylike like for asking to speak to a manager and voicing my complaint. I will never come back to this nail shop. They only want to do whatever they want to your nails and they have no respect for Black customers. Do not come here if you are Black or if you like being treated with respect. When I asked to speak to the manager they said the manager did not agree to speak to me. They are hostile and completely racist. read more

I had such an amazing experience at Ken Nails and genuinely can't recommend them enough. From the moment I walked in, the service was professional, welcoming, and attentive. Anna did my nails using the poly form/builder gel method (the plastic form technique), and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. She was kind, gentle, patient, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire appointment. My nails came out BEAUTIFUL -- the shape, structure, and finish were flawless. You can really tell she takes pride in her work and cares about her clients being happy. The woman who did my pedicure was also wonderful, even though I unfortunately didn't catch her name. We made the appointment beforehand and they were very organized. They offered us complimentary drinks such as coffee, water, tea, and even wine (both red and white)! We brought champagne . They were all very welcoming and sweet. They helped us choose colors, designs, and even explained different types of manicure. I always have a great experience at Ken Nail Spa! The service is consistently excellent, and the staff is both friendly and professional. Jenny does an amazing job with my tap gel and French manicure -- she's incredibly detail-oriented and always makes sure everything looks perfect. Ken no longer owns the salon so don't think your going to get the great service and perfect nails that he provided--- and they raised the prices. I thought I would give them a try as it is close to my home but it was the worse nail fill I have ever had. The girl took almost 2 hours to do the fill, the white was uneven and the top coat was not spread on evenly. My manicure chipped as soon as I got home. I let my nails fully dry before leaving the salon and they still chipped right away. Their polish looked kind of cheap and it applied pretty clumpy. I think the nail technician realized it too because she added something to the polish to thin it out. I'm guessing it was acetone. When they hand you the book of nail colors and ask you to pick your color - don't do it! Go to the polish wall and select opi or an Essie polish or skip this place altogether. I attached a photo for reference, I literally took them off in the shower whiteout any issues! I basically paid $120 for garbage. The people working here are shady, and expensive. I would never ever go back and if anybody is thinking about going to this salon I hope this helps, please be careful, save your money and go elsewhere.

And the lady never kept her word and took the dog home. Just kept apologizing for the barking. Ridiculous! I appreciate that the owners were trying not to lose business or risk a snarky yelp review. Well, you lost my business because yes I am a dog lover but I don't want to listen to barking during what is supposed to be a peaceful pedicure. The owner should protecting other customers' right to have a relaxing experience.

The place is welcoming, modern and clean. It is kind of a "hidden gem" off Bernal, next to Verizon towards the back of the same building as Cook's Seafood, Sultan's Kebab and Chipotle. They welcome walk-ins, but it is also super convenient and easy to make appointments online with your preferred technician. Their prices are also listed there. Plenty of parking. Tina, the owner, answered and was able to accommodate me even though it's a Sunday. Helen did my gel pedicure and even gave me a massage using lavender soap - it smelled amazing. Tina did an ombré powder dip manicure based on a Pinterest inspiration photo, and she absolutely nailed it (pun intended!). She also gave me a mini arm & hand massage. Both Tina and Helen did a great job and have wonderful customer service. I really enjoy talking with them and getting to know them. I feel like I've found my Vietnamese aunties, even though I'm not Vietnamese I felt total pampered vibes (just like the salon name) and I'll definitely be coming back. By the way, they also offer waxing, facials, and eyelash clusters (see photos for prices).
