Sadly, I had a bad experience. I arrived promptly at 2:30 one hour late as my appointment was at 1:30 and I had written it down incorrectly. I called them when I realized my mistake and they said come in anyway. She claimed no time for highlights, but I guess wanted to make money of some sort so instead of rescheduling, she did roots (made them red) and put a toner on my hair (which washed out!) Why not wait and do it right then? I should have NEVER been told to come on in. So instead of highlights, we decided to try to fix the yellow hair and she wanted to do color on my roots claiming she could tone down the red. Within one week, bright red roots and bright yellow hair- worse than before I came in. I even showed her a photo AND told her NO red and I wanted white blonde. After spending almost $200 - and no I didn't tip the owner.... in the sun my roots were on fire - bright red when I specifically said NO RED and the rest my blonde hair was back to being yellow.. When the leaving the salor the temporary toner had worked - TEMPORARILY! She didn't color correct, but rather put a temporary toner that washed out (I could have done that myself for $20.00) and I could have made my own roots bright red for about $10.00. For me a total waste of my money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She claims if I had just done highlights the red and yellow would have been handled. So why tell me to come in??? Unfortunately, I don't trust her, so I won't be going back[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Basically spent almost $200 and a week later worse than what I came in with. I never did my own hair, only touched up roots. Sadly, I could have given myself red roots and kept my yellow hair.- which was given to me by a great hairdresser, who did a beautiful job for about 4 years and then one day, being too busy, he made it all yellow. Anyway, I've had great hairdressers, but this was not one of them. She is probably best for brown hair not blonde on non-latinas. For me a total waste of money. I did have a much better experience with the Miami beauty school. They matched my roots perfectly to my hair. No need to spend hundreds of dollars on hairdressers. read more

A few things to consider - they are not a spa, so to offer services like a 'Pedispa' is misleading. The particular service is offered in a private room but the room houses many materials that the other workers need, so they are constantly entering the room and can be distracting. I had higher expectations than a regular pedicure but I would call this service a 'horizontal pedicure' because I feel this was like any other pedi I've had, only that I was laying flat instead but paid more for. I arrived early for the appt and I still had to wait - about 20 minutes total from when I arrived until when I was laying down. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even when I was sat somewhere to wait, I was being shuffled around because they didn't know where to put me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for the pedi itself, not the cleanest work I've seen. I'm glad they have the clientele they love but I would prefer to pay a little more and get a better experience at somewhere like The Standard or something. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE HAVING LONG HAIR... this was the WORST haircut I have ever received. I asked to keep my hair long when I came in all I wanted was a very very small trim( my hair previously had all the dead ends cut 2 weeks earlier I literally just wanted a LITTLE shaping for long curtain bangs), wash and blow out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I showed references pictures and even had communicated with 3 different people and made sure they understood what I wanted and that I said to keep it long and BARELY cut any.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We agreed on her cutting half an inch to shape it up SHE CUT 5 inches off my hair instead in a random pattern. I was so shocked I took a picture of the floor because I didn't believe she cut that much off my hair RANDOMLY. In the photos you will see my hair before and after coming in. I left without a blowout because when they blew it out it was so uneven and bad she had to curl it to hide it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately told the girl ringing me up I was not happy with the length of my hair and that it's NOT AT ALL what I asked for and she told me that it was the same length as my hair when I came in... after being gaslighted I paid $80 for this.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They completely thinned my hair out and cut INCHES OFF and I never asked for that I never asked for it to be thinned out. Where to even start.... I started coming to this salon in 2020 and it was the best decision. Words cannot describe how amazing this salon is and how much they cherish their customers. I get my mani and pedi done with Gretchen and my hair and eyebrows with Kailly but all the employees are amazing. After coming to this salon for so long it is a second home to me. Not only are the girls wonderful but so is the service. You can just tell from the moment that you walk in that the atomosphere of this salon is like no other. Kailly is exceptional and i remember how important she made me feel when I dyed my hair for the first time. I was looking for a place to get a modern style haircut and a friend of mine recommended me to try this Salon. The service that my friend had previously done here was hair color and she really liked how it came out. Assuming that they would know how to cut hair also and not just be good at coloring, I went through a terrible mistake. The lady has no idea how to do a haircut. When I got home I realized how bad my hair was... immediately I had to go somewhere else to fix it.  The girl at the reception is very nice, but we go to the BEAUTY SALON  to come out with a well done haircut, hair color, etc. Therefore, I do not recommend this place. read more

Meh - I went on a whim bc a friend had recommended this place. They have great ratings so I thought 'great, maybe this will be my new place'. The ppl are friendly and I was on time for my appointment. I waited for Kailly to be done w/ the client she was with but as I was sitting there another client of hers came in. I could hear her telling them she would be right with them. She called me over and I sat in her chair as she combed my hair she proceeded to tell me how uneven my hair was then changed the topic to how much ppl love coming to the salon to hang out....I am the complete opposite as I am usually trying to just fit the appointment in. I thought it was a bit odd but wondered if she said that bc it was my first appt & she made me wait like 20 min...it was like a complaint session...anywho....she cut my hair in literally 5 minutes! no joke. She took my cape off and motioned me to the girl at the desk so I could pay and immediately moved on to her next client. Not the experience I was looking for. The cut is ok. Will continue to look for a better experience and stylist. read more

I want to start off by saying, that as far as friendly staff, they have it. The nails, also not bad. But, the real problem is what they did to my hair. When I called, I specifically asked for an appointment with Kailly who was highly recommend by the NextDoor App. I wanted to dye my roots and trim my ends. When I arrived, they told me that they did not know what had happened because Kylie didn't work that day but they had someone who would be able to do it. It turns out, it was the same girl scheduled to do my nails. My root color came out fine, my haircut, atrocious, uneven, and it was clear to see she didn't know what she was doing. I dried my hair at home, and that is when I noticed the disaster. When I called the next morning, they scheduled me right away with Kailly that afternoon. I arrive, waited 20 minutes and when she heard me out and when she looked at my actual hair, she tells me that it looks better than in the pics. Ok, the pics do not lie. As she is cutting my hair, she is telling me how this girl who did my hair just finished beauty school and in their training with her, she hadn't gotten to this specific haircut. It was a trimming of my hair, simple, and instead she botched it. I was happy when she told me she did not have to cut much to fix it, but low and behold when I get home and iron it, yes it was better, but completely uneven. I have attached the pictures. Although yes, they were nice and their staff is friendly, I feel as if this was totally unfair how someone is allowed to give a haircut without disclosing that they do not feel comfortable with it, don't have enough experience, or just leaving it extremely uneven. Honestly the courteous thing to do is just tell the client the truth and even though it is inconvenience to reschedule, it is better than what I have dealt with. I had to find a new salon to fix my hair just in time for a graduation and the holidays. I have never had short hair and I kept mentioning how I wanted to preserve the length. Because of this, my hair is shorter than ever. I had to pay for a haircut twice. Major expense especially having a new baby. And even though it worked out because I found someone reliable and experienced, at another salon because of this, this has been a difficult situation to deal with. I don't wish it on a Never again. read more

Kylie did my hair and you can tell she loves what she does. She's meticulous and made sure each section of my hair was straightened to perfection. She did a keratin treatment and the fumes of the product did burn my eyes and scalp but that's to be expected as I have a sensitive scalp. She made sure I was comfortable and even offered me a bocadito. My hair is on the coarser side. Another stylist started on my hair by washing it and you could tell she was visibly uncomfortable doing it but Kylie took over and took the time to detangle my hair.
