Do not order online from Windhan Pizza in Windham! If you like their food, fine, call them them up, but do not order online. After placing my order and including the tip to "minimize contact" (what the heck is that all about?) I received a notification that my credit card was not processed, BUT I received a notification from my credit card provider saying the purchased was approved. So I called to see what was going on. At this point, the "convenience" of ordering online had expired IMHO. I was placed on hold THREE times, each time trying to explain my situation. NO ONE seemed interested enough to engage me. Their answer was to order again (and be charged again apparently). So I ask the question...why do we tip to "minimize contact" and get insufficient service? read more

Arrived to pick up my online order which the page was so easy and friendly user to use. I walked in and it looked like a classic pizza joint which was awesome because it wasn't crowded or cluttered with useless memorabilia on the walls. It was very clean and I was immediately greeted with a warm hello how can I help you. I love it when I am acknowledged as soon as I enter somewhere. I picked up my Chicken Cordon Bleu Calzone and did it smell awesome. After I left I got in my car and drove to the other side of the lot and opened the box and OMG it was huge and stuffed with filling. I went and took a bite and there was so much, ham, chicken and cheese that it dripped down my chin lol. I can't wait to try all the other food there. Food is okay, however to order and have delivered is ridiculous. They charge a $2.00 fee to order on line and an added a delivery fee of $8.50 for one sub. I am 1.8 miles away this seems excessive delivery charge and impacts the tip of the delivery person. As if I am paying 8.50 for delivery you should be giving that to your driver and not asking for a tip. read more

Small unassuming pizza place off the side of the road. We stopped in here one afternoon on the way home from Manchester kind of on a whim. My wife and split what they call "The BEST Chicken Bacon Honey Mustard Melt" sub along with a Greek salad. I must say, that sub was great as was the salad. The sandwich was big and had plenty of sauce, bacon, cheese, and a good honey mustard sauce all on grilled chicken tenders. Really good. The salad was fresh with lots of feta and olives which I consider key to a decent Greek salad. I cannot comment on the rest of the menu, but this was good enough that we have driven up to Londonderry several time from Dracut just to repeat this meal. read more

I have lived in south Londonderry and remember when this used to be a Lil' Champ convenience store so we have been customers since Kendal Pond Pizza took over this space years ago. I don't usually leave negative reviews especially for local businesses but the quality of their food just is not what it used to be. Placed an order for 1 chicken sub. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, American Ch. and light on the Mayo. What I got was No cheese, and also what seemed like extra Mayo. Gross! So I picked the chicken fingers out of the sub and ate it that way. Also not that it matters but, the kid told me 25 minutes. No big deal I already know it isn't gonna take 25 minutes. I live in AZ but my aunt lives in New England and posted the experience she and her family had with this establishment last evening on fb. I am a strong believer in good customer service and unfortunately that was not what was delivered, I thought it important this be shared as a review on Yelp. Don't be mean to someone's Mom or their Auntie! She wrote: Last night my son and I decide to order food from Kendall Pond Pizza in Windham where we have ordered many times before. I place the call at 4:30 and the kid taking orders kept telling me to hold on and he is talking to someone there, then would ask me the same questions repeatedly. When I hung up I wasn't feeling confident the order would be correct. At 6:00 I called back and the same kid tells me I gave him the wrong address and phone number, we exchange some words, then asks if I want to speak to his Manager. I hear him tell the Manager the whole story and a clearly irritated Manager gets in the phone, I repeat the saga and he says I will get it out to you in 10 minutes, but he is not happy about it. 40 minutes later I call again, and I say, so am I not getting any dinner tonight, again the kid says do you want my Manager? Oh yes please I reply. An over the top irritated Manager proceeds to yell at me because his driver cannot find my house and i gave the wrong phone number. I tell him again i did not and the driver has been here multiple times, he says i might be able to get it out to you later, i said, it has been over two hours now, he replies with i know i already have two trips out there, i said well I'm sorry i have inconvenienced you, he called me a bad name and hung up. My son calls back and asks to speak to the manager, he says Sir, i am just trying to understand what happened, we do business with your store all the time, your driver has been here lots of times, but I don't appreciate you being rude to my Mom. The Manager says I dont have time for this and hangs up again. That is when things got really ugly. Over the past 25 years I've lived all over the US with the military. I've had hundreds of pizzas from restaurants nearly everywhere and never was I reminded of NH. This pizza though, reminds me of the kind I ate growing up here. I used to eat at a Greek owned restaurant in Nashua called Palace Pizza and this was their style. So, perhaps my opinion is biased because it takes me back, but still, it's terrific pizza. We got 5 pizzas for a family gathering: a Mediterranean; pineapple; pepperoni; sausage; and cheese. The crust is brushed with oil before it's cooked, so if you're a Dominoes type dry crust fan -this might not do it for you. The cheese was top notch. It didn't clump up and harden while it was still hot and make you wonder. The toppings were good too and fresh. After having so much chain restaurant as well as mom and pop pizza in thin, thick and in between crust from all over the US, it was pure happiness to be taken back to the type of pizza I grew up on 30+ years ago. I ordered a chicken feta salad, picked it up and found out that they left off the feta when I got home. I called and they offered to allow me to DRIVE back so they could throw some feta on my salad. ummmmm, no. When I complained, they said they would give me a credit. Okay, fine, seemed fair. I am a rewards member, or I was, so I expected to see the credit on my account. The following Wednesday, as per our custom, I was ordering our weekly easy takeout meal and noticed that the credit was not on my account. Given what good customers we are, frequent orders that always include a 20% tip for takeout, I assumed this was a mistake. The person who answered the phone consulted their manager and told me they would give me a five dollar credit because that was waaaaaayyyy more than what feta costs. Hmmmmm, actually, not. As a rewards member I know that I have spent about $1000 there in the last six months. Yeah, the food is decent and easy enough, when they include all of the ingredients. So given that I will never frequent their shop again, I estimate that this particular feta cost them a few thousand dollars over the next few years. This has always been my favorite pizza place in the area. If I'm going to get pizza, I get it here. Other places like Cobbett's Pond just don't do it for me for some reason. Maybe it's the crust - I'm a big fan of crust, and theirs is nice and crispy. I've been going to Kendall Pond Pizza since I was in elementary school, and I've never had anything I didn't like. My personal favorite as far as pizza goes is the Mediterranean Pizza (I always get it without sauce). I usually get the spicy/curly fries on the side, but I also like the garlic bread and the mozzarella sticks. I've never had any of the subs, pastas, calzones, soups, or salads, just because I usually go here when I'm craving pizza, but if the other food is any indication, I'm sure those things would also be very good. The only complaint I have is that I always used to get Orangina, but the last few times they didn't have it... I guess they don't stock it anymore. But that's a minor complaint and obviously doesn't say anything about the quality of the food. Also, at one point when I used to go here the guys in the kitchen making the pizza would often sing for fun, which was always entertaining. I haven't heard them singing anytime recently, so I guess they don't anymore... but I wish they still did! read more

I have always been a fan of Kendall Pond, although I may be biased having worked there for a long time while in school. They are still as great as I remember. The prices may seem a little high, but you are paying for quality. The dough is crispy and flavorful, the toppings are always fresh, plentiful, and arranged appropriately. The cheese blend they use has a great flavor - and they definitely put a lot of cheese on the pie (I always request "lighter on the cheese"). The pizza also reheats beautifully in a toaster oven! From an insider's view, a lot of care goes into making sure the customer is pleased, and it shows. They are also pretty good about custom orders, if you ask in a clear, concise (and pleasant) way. My family is a fan of the Kicken' Chicken and the Mediterranean. And their buy one large, get the second one at 7.99 is always a good value. Their grilled chicken, which also goes on pies, is marinated and tastes great. Of course they also have a full menu of dinners, salads, subs, and sides. If you're in the area (or near their other three locations) and are looking to enjoy a greek-style pizza, I highly recommend KPP. read more

I used to enjoy KPP. Their food has always been one of my favorites. My father and our family has been going there for over 20 years!! One of their most loyal customers.... Recently, I discovered that one of their young employees got fired because she needed to take a sick day!!! In the midst of a pandemic, and understanding the seriousness of feeling unwell and how going into work could effect her co workers and customers, she took the day off.. She has been working there for almost 4 years and one of the most committed employees who RARELY takes a sick day. She would never take a day off unless she were unwell as she didn't want to put the extra work on her coworkers... Pat (The owner) asked her to get tested for COVID which makes sense! Well, after she did so and got a negative result, the owner, Pat, fired her saying that she lied about being sick!?! I can't believe this would happen especially in the midst of a pandemic, but also the unprofessionalism that this owner would have towards an employee by calling her a liar. :( It also doesn't seem very legal or moral. The pizza at Kendall Pond is excellent. The wings are average and their subs are pretty good. Prices are high ($13 for 10 wings, small pizza's in the $11 range- large for $17+) but I live less then a mile so they are convenient to pick up. The service at Kendall Pond in Windham is awful! It get's worse every time I go in. The service is rude and standoffish. No one takes responsibility, the manager avoids customers who have complaints and the place is very disorganized. I have never been greeted with a smile as long as I have been going in and if it weren't for the quality of food and location to my house, I would not go back. read more

Been going here for years, mostly for lunch and delivery. I'd like to give it 4 stars for the pizza, especially the specialty pizzas are excellent. Everything else, sandwiches, meals etc. are good, but can miss the mark once in a while. The people that work there are friendly and accommodating. If you do have an issue, speak up, they will make it right. I still come here for lunch at times, and will continue to do so. They also will sell pizza by the slice at lunch, which I find convenient. Meatlovers and Chicken Broccoli Alfredo are my favorite pizzas from here. They also make a decent Chicken Caesar Wrap. read more
