The chicken Caesar salad is one of the best I have ever had. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the dressing was delicious.

I have been driving past the Hudson location for a few months now without even the thought to stop in. I got a coupon so I decided it was time. The coupon was useless, and the staff did not inform me that the coupon was not going to save me anything. The staff was young and obnoxious. When I returned to pick up my order they just stared me like I hadn't been in there to place the order only 10 minutes earlier. The staff was chatting with eachother and basically ignoring the few customers that were in the place. The food was okay but not worth the experience of being treated rudely by high school kids, and their coupons which constantly litter my mailbox (I should have known from that alone) are worth nothing. read more

I live a three minute drive from Kendall Pond Pizza in Windham and it never occurred to me to stop by. I assumed it was another typical sub shop. Then I had lunch there with my father and had a delicious chicken salad sub. The folks are super friendly and the place is very clean. I recently ordered a Mediterranean pizza for pickup and couldn't believe the quality for the price. I called it in, and they had a hot fresh pizza ready in fifteen minutes that blew my mind. I love their pizza and subs. I have been ordering online from this place for years and they've delivered their food piping hot, quickly, and friendly every single time. Their pizza is higher quality than most others and is worth the drive if you're out of their delivery area. Ingredients = 10, Service = 10. Highly recommended - I gave it a 4 instead of 5 only because its a standard "coke sign" type pizza parlor. Pizza and subs are both excellent. I usually order a chx parm sub and I love that it's packed with chicken and the sauce is delicious. However, my biggest surprise was their chicken wings! I always avoided ordering them because they are VERY expensive. $8.00 for 5 wings??? But I gave in and ordered them. Omg! They are the biggest wings I've ever seen in my life! It normally takes me 10-15 wings to fill up, but I had trouble eating the 5! My only negative comment about the wings is that the buffalo sauce used in them made them rather soggy. Personally, I prefer a crispier wing. Also, they deliver very quickly, which I always appreciate. read more

Tried to give it one last chance as the last few times have been disappointing to say the least and I can say, THIS IS THE LAST TIME! The food lacked any sense of flavor and the italian chicken wings were blackish, dry and looked reheated. I go to the location in Hudson and it is the best pizza place around. This is the only place I go to now when I want pizza, which is at least a couple times a week. The atmosphere is cool with the game tables and abundance of tv's but the pizza is superb. Very relaxing and they have a great bar so you can enjoy beer or wine while you eat the best pizza I have ever had! read more

The gentleman who answered the phone read my card number back to me out loud... I'm not one to typically write reviews, and tbh this is my first one star review I've ever given a place, but the condescension I received when I spoke up about my card number, expiration date, security number and billing zip all read back to me sort of left me frustrated. Maybe I wasn't assertive enough (Admittedly, I wasn't sure what to say... I ended up stuttering something along the lines of like 'is it common practice for you to read the number back? I don't think its a good idea...') But the response I got was wholly unprofessional, even so far as the guy speaking to me as if I were a child, "We do want to get the correct card number, right?" before switching to a more snippy tone, and getting hostile when I responded with 'yeah but someone could hear all of that info, you don't need to read it back...' Okay sure, maybe I have a soft voice, maybe I sounded too hesitant, but that really doesn't justify the behavior of the employee. I'm a 25 year old woman, a regular customer, I tip well, and I have worked in customer relations positions where I've taken billing info, and I do know that it is a no-no to read customer card numbers back over the phone. The softness of my voice doesn't invalidate what I have to say. Quite frankly I don't want to have to go to bat over my card info on the phone while I'm trying to order pizza on my day off. So if you pay with a card when you order from this place, keep an eye on your statements, because they don't seem particularly interested in protecting your credit card info. read more

Kendall Pond Pizza has undergone a change in Management and Staff not too long ago. I do believe that they have maintained the good quality of food and service that was a trademark established by the previous Staff. Having many a selection of pizza options in the area, I have to say that Kendall Ponds pizza is probably the most consistent in terms of getting the same fresh, well prepared, well cooked and great tasting pizza. It is somewhat distinctive in taste although one might argue that it has the Traditional pairing of the standard Greek Pizza. I do think that prices in general have increased on most menu items which include salads, Subs, dinners, appetizers and calzones. They do offer an enticing Two slices with a 20 oz. Soda special for $4.99. The subs are fairly consistent in preparation and taste also. I would recommend the steak & cheese, meatball, American, and the special Ham/Turkey/Roast beef. They offer wraps, pockets, and Syrian as bread options. Specialty pizzas are popular here and they take center stage. Takeout service is pretty quick....there is a delivery charge. They do have a flat screen HD TV if you eat in. The interior is always clean with a subdued atmosphere. All in all, a real good choice if you are interested in good, quality, consistent pizza. read more

Service is poor. The staff is unfriendly and act like they don't even want you there. The place is filthy and I will not be coming back. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy unless you like having flies around you. I did not even try the food because this place was so disgusting. read more

There is better pizza in the area, however their dinners are decent. A few times we got a medium or medium rare cheese burger which was fairly gross when you're not expecting it or asked for it. The big issue is their prices. Generally they are higher than a sit down higher end restaurant. $13 for a bacon cheese burger dinner (dinner is fries and a quite small side salad) or $14 for a chicken tender dinner, that clearly is just frozen chicken, is rivaling or surpassing a standard restaurant. I get better prices at some higher end places in Boston. Not sure how they justify the cost for the quality. We've tried them several times expecting a difference but the price is just too much for the average take out quality we get. read more

I don't know what has happened to this store in the last year but the quality of service is horrible now. I have been a patron for many, many years, but no more. Every time we order they get it wrong. Last time we ordered delivery of a grilled chicken salad. The order was delivered with no chicken. I drove to the store and asked to see the manager. I was told I'd get an $8 credit on my next order. The next weekend I called to order and they said they had no record of a credit. I asked to speak to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do. I told him if there was nothing he would do, that I'd order elsewhere. Yuck. This place used to be really good. We just got take out and it was awful! The buffalo wings looked like they just poured some sauce over it and they were really soggy. The French fries weren't even all the way cooked and the pizza was burnt. I don't know what was wrong with them tonight but we won't be going back. Pretty good but usually very inconsistent from order to order and seem to take longer than other places.

Lets start off by saying they didn't get the order right and came almost an hour after I ordered it. We ordered two large pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni). They gave us two cheeses. We also ordered a calzone and two large fries. We got two small fries and a calzone that one child could finish. We complained and they gave us a pepperoni pizza (the guy probably sat on the box because it was squashed), and two more fries. All the food was overly greasy, I laid a paper towel over my pizza and within seconds you could see the pizza underneath. I was honestly disgusted, and not to mention all of this was for more money than what I'd get at another place, an extra twenty dollars. And finally, I now have stomach pain. I refuse to go to such a place again. read more

After searching for a while to find a decent pizza place, I thought I found one with this place after my first pizza there. My first pizza was a 3 topping ham, pepperoni, onion pizza, it could've passed for a brick oven pizza. Considering the toppings, there was barely any grease on the plate/box and the slices didn't sag. Another time I ordered, it was a bacon and onion pizza. The bacon had a nice crisp to it and wasn't in large chunks. The onion however was thinner than the last pizza and most of it was burnt on the pizza. I chalked that up to a different prep person. Then I decided to try out some other items on the menu, spaghetti w/ meatballs and a steak bomb sub. When I opened up the sub I thought, "Wow there's no grease, nice." Then I took a bite, dry (w/ mayo mind you) and flavorless. Seriously, I could see the salami but couldn't taste it. So I asked how the pasta was; I didn't have to ask about the sauce, I could see how thin and watery it was. The pasta was bland and almost chewy. I didn't believe someone would serve chewy pasta so I tried it, yup they sent out chewy pasta (spaghetti, the easiest pasta to make). The meatballs, though large, were flavorless. I figured I'd stay with getting just pizza from here and maybe appetizers. Boy was I wrong. So now for tonight's 'grand' order, a 2 topping pepperoni and bacon pizza and a cheesy garlic bread w/ marinara sauce. The garlic bread was dry and the cheese was chewy. Whenever the cheese pulled off the bread, the bread had a slight green tint from the garlic oil (probably from using the wrong brush to apply the oil). Oh yeah, the sauce was shoved in the container; I could tell that by the sauce container imprint that was left in the cheese after I took it out. The pizza was chewy and greasy, so greasy I can still taste/feel the grease in my mouth after almost 2 hours. The bacon wasn't the same across the pizza, there was some large pieces, small pieces, crispy pieces, chewy pieces, and even one piece that could've passed as jerky. Oddly enough the pepperoni was cut in half, why would anyone cut that in half? Anyways, I could've saved half my money, ordered from a "House of" pizzeria, and gotten the same quality meal. Now some might call me a pizza snob (as I've seen mentioned) but I wouldn't say that. The first 10 years of my working career was in pizza, and I was trained in the North End. I held every position between cashier to General Manager, so I think I know pizza. The biggest downfall for any restaurant is inconsistency, and I think this place has it from what I've seen in the past 6-9 months. I don't intend to call and complain because I don't plan on ordering again. As any manager should know, even offering a free meal won't get someone to come back (unless they care more about money than taste). I wouldn't recommend ordering from here, unless you like to gamble or you know someone. I also recommend that the owner should probably take a closer look at things and either retrain or replace the problem(s). read more

Kendall Pond Pizza on Mammoth Rd, Windham is atrocious and their SCARY staff is more than unwelcoming and truly lacks the skills of any decent customer service!! For beginners, the food is not what I would consider exceptional but until now it has been an acceptable Friday night treat. However, due to our revolting experience last week we will NEVER EVER order from there again. An error was made and it was on their part. This is not the first time they have had accuracy issues so when I asked to check one of the pizzas and pointed out the error the vulgar female cook became outraged. She yelled obscenities from her station and had no intention of correcting the order. I would have had no trouble waiting for a new pizza especially because it was a busy time but this wasn't even an option. Based on her ill-mannered comments, I stated my discontent to the counter staff and in return I was met with hostility as they provided locations in the area that we could go to if we were not satisfied! If I hadn't paid for our dinner ($56) I would have left it on the counter. To boot, when I got home my grilled chicken over Greek salad didn't have any feta!! Its unfortunate a local establishment is so boorish to their regular patrons. Lastly, this is not the first time I have witnessed scariness behind their counter. In most of those awkward instances, the abusive behavior was towards their young employees. It's no wonder they're always looking for help! I will never order from there again. They do not deserve my patronage or anyone else's and I strongly encourage parents to keep their children from working there. It's a very toxic environment. read more
