They have a little candy and snack stand as well. I don't think I've ever seen an actual bar inside of a jewelers. It looks like tappers is the main anchor at the shopping center? More like they have the biggest outdoor signage. Have to insist the Orchard mall to get to it. It's inside and to the left. $15 for a quick battery swap. $35 for a full sweep check and reseal and battery replacement. Steve told me to come by today and he would be able to replace the battery for me in 15 minutes himself. He's pleasant. This jewelry store has some of the most beautiful sapphire and diamond jewelry I have seen among other stores. Their variety is expansive and extensive. I was able to get the battery replaced, but they were not able to get the crystal or back resealed, so it's currently not considered waterproof. Have to limit any splash on it, and obviously cannot immerse in any water until it's taken to the factory location. Service is very good.

I brought Diamond Castle my mother's vintage ring; an irreplaceable heirloom with deep sentimental value. I asked for two small stones to be replaced and the band resized. They accepted the job with confidence and never mentioned any concerns about working with a delicate vintage setting. Within just a few days of receiving the ring back, it fell apart completely. The center stone came loose, several prongs failed, and the setting collapsed. This was not due to age or wear. It was the direct result of poor workmanship. What makes this worse is that if Diamond Castle had simply said the work was beyond their capabilities, I would have absolutely accepted that professional judgment. I would have happily kept the ring safely in my jewelry box and treasured it as it was. Instead, they took on a job they clearly weren't equipped for, and now I don't even know if this precious piece can be salvaged. They did refund me for the work, but no refund can repair the damage done to something so personally meaningful. A reputable jeweler should be honest about their limitations especially when handling sentimental or vintage jewelry. I strongly caution anyone considering trusting Diamond Castle with important or irreplaceable pieces. Transparency, skill, and care matter and unfortunately, my experience showed a lack of all three.

I worked with Jennifer, who couldn't have been more pleasant and easy to work with. She seemed genuinely interested in finding the right ring as opposed to making a sale, and I did end up buying that particular ring. After proposing I wanted to look at a Tacori ring to complement the one that had been purchased, so we went to Artisans in Novi. The saleswoman there denigrated the ring, indicating that we'd paid too much. She then offered to "recreate" the jeweler's design for half the price. I explained that I wasn't interested in doing so, but that I did want to see the Tacori piece that I'd emailed about. The salesperson indicated that the price as I wanted it was 5.5k, doing so with a tone that made clear she didn't think we could afford it (we were casually dressed on a Saturday morning). I told her that we were going to go back to Orin's before making a final decision, as the Mark Schneider piece needed to be resized anyway. The salesperson at Artisans scoffed at the jewelry store, scoffed at the city and indicated that I would be back for sure. By this time my fiancé and mother, who was along for the ride, had had enough of the entire experience. I assured them that they'd receive a completely different level of customer service at Orin's and from Jennifer specifically. We continued to Northville and found the perfect ring, again without any attempt to make a sale. In fact, we decided to add a diamond to one of the rings and Jennifer suggested that I go with the smaller of the two options, as it would suit the ring better. In doing so, she suggested a diamond that was 600 dollars cheaper, but made clear to us what her priorities were (i.e., finding the right ring as opposed to making the most money). I don't often write reviews, but did so for both Artisans and Orin's. The experience at the former was not one that I appreciated, while the experience at the latter was one that I genuinely enjoyed. I would absolutely recommend Orin's to anyone looking for engagement/wedding jewelry. Ask for Jennifer.

They had…read moremany loose stones and were able to pop out my headstone and place various sizes in my setting until we found the perfect size that complemented the rest of the stones in the setting. They were wonderful and didn't pressure me at all. They even talked me down in size because they felt the stone I nearly went with, was too big and, blocked too much of the few of the stones in the band. When a jeweler talks you into spending less money at their shop, you know that you've found the right jeweler. In the end, they were right and my ring looks absolutely beautiful. I get compliments all the time. They also can repair anything and helped me with a few necklaces and a bracelet.
