That was a few years ago and it still works really well and looks nice. I have been here quite a few times to browse but for some reason I've only made that one purchase. Recently I was in there browsing and there were 2 employees who were just chatting. They did not acknowledge me. There was maybe one other customer in the store store so they were not busy. I didn't mind because I did not want to make a purchase anyhow. I do recommend the store for your home decorating needs. They have beautiful things and the prices are not too expensive. There is a wide variety of styles to choose from. However, a lot of their items are more on the glitzy side.

I like Home Goods and can usually find some cool stuff or…read moregift items here but it always feels overwhelming going to spots like Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Marshall's or Ross. First, the lines are usually insane and there's nothing I need that bad to wait in a line wrapped around the aisle that are 20 people deep. Ha. Sometimes the line flies quickly but other times, it seems to take forever. Secondly, Home Goods has way too much stuff to the point where items are overflowing over the shelves or displays. I don't think I have the patience to really dig through stuff to score good finds. Ha. With that said, the employees are continuously organizing or adding more stuff!!! I will say Home Goods does have cool stuff and unique food and drink items. I also love searching for kitchen stuff here. When it comes to holidays, they go all out on options. They had really nice gift wrapping paper but the prices were still normal, not really inexpensive. Some items are only marked down a little, others marked down more so. Not sure how they slash prices here but you just have to find and decide if it's worth the cost. All in all, I do like coming in here from time to time. You never know what you can find. It was a fun store to look at they offer so many for the home such as rugs, furniture, bath items, bedding, lamps, dishes and even some gourmet food. It was Halloween, my 2nd favorite holiday and there was so much to look at. I was able to find what I was looking for and I'll definitely return to check out some of their other items. The checkout line was long and on the slow side but the cashier was very nice as was another employee who had helped me find the price on an item.

But there are some items from Vietnam and China. I like the layout of the store and it is pretty easy to find what you are looking for. If not, there is a very friendly associate who will help out. They have all home items. This ranges from decorative to organizational to furniture. It is nice to see items that are most Made In Barcelona. They are high quality and unique. The prices are reasonable. They are located between Bath and Body Works and the Food Court.

Ross Store Complaint…read more As I'm at checkout at a register, I see my older elderly mother in-law patiently waiting for me. Now she had already payed and had a Ross bag of her own. This tall security guard wearing a SWAT team tactical uniform starts staring at her and starts to question what's in her bag. He immediately walks towards her and starts checking her bag and asking for her receipt to verify if she's purchased the items. She mentions to him, you've already saw me checking out at register. Even after he's finished checking her bag, he hasn't taken his eyes off of her and keeps starring at her, making her feel uncomfortable. My mother in-law asked him if there was something wrong. And as nice as she is, she's also asked him if he'd like a peace of gum because that's what she ended up grabbing from her purse because she likes to chew mint gum. My mother also asked him, if there was a problem because she felt uncomfortable. I was at the register about to walk out the door towards where they were and ask him if he sees anything suspicious, he just ignored me and just asks for my receipt. Now this guy just saw me at the register. By law you don't have to show receipt if you seriously don't want to. I did anyways and asked him why he's being so rude. He doesn't show any signs of hospitality, kindness, not even a smile and he demands your receipt at the door and he looks at you suspiciously, as though you've stolen something. As consumers we have our rights by law. It's called Shopkeepers Privilege Law. I was upset with this security guard and told him, I didn't have to show him anything because I've payed my product at register in full. My mother in-law is in her 80's and it upset me more, that the security guard hired by the store would actually insinuate suspicion of elderly woman committing fraud, because that's what Ross is implying and that's violating our rights. They've got everything they need for security, they've got camera's, face detection, live security guards and other floor attendants. I would have made a complaint but the people that have been hired, specially the mangers actually are more rude and have been known to rase their voices at customers. The next time I go in this store I will try documenting these recurring events on video and post it on YouTube and may even write the Ross corporate office and consult my lawyer. This shouldn't be happening and corporate chains need to stop treating customers like cattle. We pay for their goods, keeping them in business. It's not our fault if other people are steeling their inventory, they shouldn't be mistreating us because of it. It's not welcoming and it's not nice. If I'm walking into the store, I shouldn't be getting an eyeball or a hard stare instead of a warm welcome to Ross store.

She alerted us to the 40% off sale on every piece of furniture in the showroom. It seemed like a consignment store.
