Unfortunately the installers rushed through the install and paid no attention to sloping the gutters. They blamed the roof edge and drip edge (which are straight/level) for the unlevel look. I got out a 4' level and in a couple sections the gutter was out of level by 1/2" over 4' the wrong way and other areas nearly as bad. I pointed out all the areas I was not happy with and they redid those areas somewhat and ended up with very slightly sloped or level gutters. I would not recommend this company - the homeowner should not have to be the inspector/manager/quality-control for this type of work.

They said "yep, you're on the schedule for today" so I hung up. A few minutes later, we got a call saying "we won't be able to make it today." My husband insisted on speaking with the owner and the scheduler said Sure, and meanwhile can we get you scheduled for Weds (two days later)? We said Sure. There were a few messages left and back fort but come that Wednesday morning, my husband called in and got through to the owner only come to find out yet another scheduling error had happened-- despite the scheduler saying they'd be there, the owner thought we didn't want to be scheduled until we got in touch with them personally (not what we had said or what was told to us; we were told we're on the schedule for Weds). Owner apologized, but it was odd how poor the communication appeared to be between the scheduler and the owner and back again. we had to reschedule once again; which we did. Rufus and someone else (I believe his name was Kevin) were out here working to make sure our gutters were in tip-top shape. They were both personable and knowledgeable. The estimator recommended one thing; but Rufus indicated that removing the existing screening wasn't needed and they had cleaned it thoroughly and also added a splash guard so our super gutters wouldn't have the rain spillover. Because it hasn't rained heavily since, the result remains to be seen, but they indicated if we aren't happy with everything that they'd come out again and fix whatever was wrong.

Otherwise they are very polite, appear to take pride in their work and do very good work.

We got several quotes at different reasonable ranges but only Nelson (the owner) truly impressed us. We arrived after the store was closed (due to Google having incorrect closing times) but Nelson opened back up and stayed for over an hour consulting with us. Never once did he rush us or imply that he had other things to do. And this was before we even agreed to be his clients! No one else showed that level of professionalism. The second was to remove the hardwood and put LVP in the entire space. R.B. came to my home on October 4 and measured etc. and said I would receive the estimates within a few days. After one week I still had not received the estimates so I called him. He told me he was sorry, they were short on help and he would have them to me the next day. It is now Nov. 3 and I have still not received the quotes. Needless to say, I would not do business with AB Floors & Restoration as they are proven to be unreliable.

Within 48 hrs, it was determined that the drain hose from our dishwasher (which is housed in the middle of a long island) had been leaking. We have wood floors throughout our home, and the water had traveled several feet under the island, causing extensive damage before it made itself evident. I called hardwood floor specialists, general contractors, and AB Floors & Restoration. NOBODY was as equipped to resolve EVERY aspect of this problem as was AB Floors & Restoration. Not only do they have the technical expertise to dry out the wood, remove water, restore floors and cabinets (among other things), but they also have the business acumen to ensure that the process is seamless. They even handle communication with the insurance company. Ronald, one of the owners, explained his expertise in this area and requested to speak with the insurance adjuster directly. He handled the initial visit with the adjuster at our home, and everything Ronald recommended was approved immediately. There were no surprises in the form of additional fees as the job got going. AB is a family business. The owners are present and very responsive. It is obvious that any subs needed are carefully selected excellent craftsmen. I cannot imagine the amount of stress we would have endured had we done this any other way. Without AB Floors, we would have had to hire several different kinds of specialists (i.e. flooring, plumbing, cabinetry, painting, etc.), leaving ourselves in charge and holding the bag whenever something went wrong or when the various specialists bumped into one another. I'm quite certain there also would have been surprises along the way, adding to the cost and the timing.
