After reading my three-star review, Dr. Ardalan reached out to me in a sincere desire to address my concerns and to improve his services. Since then, we have exchanged several e- mails. Most impressively, Dr. Ardalan has made changes to his practice based on those aspects of my treatment that were less than ideal -- the Wave treatment, his dental assistant, and my extended and painful recovery. As examples, my Wave assistant is no longer working at his office, and he plans to create unique follow up instructions for patients with severe abscesses, like mine, given the possibility of significant pain and longer recovery time. As with the previous review, I was very happy with Dr. Ardalan's treatment before and during the root canal procedure. He was professional, skilled, kind, and let me know what he was doing before and during the root canal. His office was very attractive and his front office staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I sincerely appreciated Dr. Ardalan's willing ness to squeeze me in on a holiday week and his responsiveness to my calls to his emergency phone line. Most of all, I am impressed with Dr. Ardalan's willingness to reach out to me in his desire to better understand what went "wrong" during my treatment, to learn from it, and to improve upon it. All in all, Dr. Ardalan is a very unique health care practitioner who strives to provide his patients with a safe and caring environment, as well as, effective and painless procedures.

Due to pre-existing travel plans, I was unable to get a crown quickly and needed a band to prevent the crack from expanding and damaging the nerve. They told me in order to get a cleaning I had to have x-rays. The assistant who took the x-rays and other photos was perfunctory in her duties and didn't respond when I told her what she was doing was uncomfortable. Dr. Cera came in a gave me a quick exam and then I was told I had to go back out to reception to wait for a hygienist. My wait started at 35 minutes past my appointment time. I waited another 15 minutes and told them I had to leave for another appointment. So I went in for a cleaning and never got a cleaning. Worst of the worst.
