(My new neurosurgeon had presented my case to a team of his cohorts, and they came to this conclusion together.) Keem's office consistently fails to provide pre-op and intra-operative photos to members of my care team who request them; multiple neurosurgeons have tried. No one except Keem's office has seen them. Context is included in my two reviews below this one. Keem allowed me to feel like it was hopeless, that the disc would "continue" slipping indefinitely due to the default of my own body. Keem looked me in the eyes and lied to my face the two times he had the courage to show his face to me after his failed surgery (and one of these was a presumably forced meeting facilitated by the Polyclinic's risk management department). He's unscrupulous, which a surgeon should never be. I wouldn't trust him with a houseplant. I've had innumerable complications as a result of this failed surgery. My career as a dancer is over. I've chipped multiple teeth from my post-op convulsions. I've gotten a diagnosis of PTSD. I'm going to be different for the rest of my life. I'm moving forward with a lawsuit.

I wish he would have told me that at the preop. I would have gotten another opinion. I asked him to do his best but it still isn't right. The cement also leaked out during surgery! When I asked about what could go wrong at the preop, leakage was his answer. When I asked how often this happens, he replied that he's done over 3,000 and never had it happen. Hard to believe I was his first of over 3,000. The other vertebrae hasn't caused any problem since the surgery. Rather than seeing the doctor for my post op he sent me to his assistant. I never saw him after surgery or since.

He takes the time to answer all your questions and explains in simplest terms so you fully understand. When he's in the office with you he is totally focused on you and your problems. I thot the "Bedside manner" was a thing of the past but it is alive and well in Dr Mohit. I highly recommend Dr Mohit and everyone here. If I ever need to have surgery again or any of my family members he will be the surgeon. 100 stars

Like Dr. Mohitt. Very informative and easy to talk with. Has excellent schooling for spine…read moresurgeries and quite educated in the field so felt comfortable with him. The administrative staff is less than desirable . Not very friendly and does not call you back. Waited two weeks to get phone call for scheduling my injection. However when I called them to find out when I could schedule my injection, they said that the approval from my insurance still has not come back. I called my insurance immediately and they said that they had just received the request for the procedure within minutes after I got off the phone with the spine center. My insurance said that they would process this claim and get it back to them promptly. I then had to call back the spine center a week later to find out when I could come in for my injection. I was then scheduled for my injection a week later. They are not on top of their paperwork and procedures at all in the front office. Nor do they take responsibility when they have made a mistake. I would suggest that if you use this center, be proactive in scheduling your appointments and be proactive with your insurance so that you get the care that you deserve because the doctor is a great doctor.

I want to share my views of Dr. Charles Cobbs with the world. The man is a true miracle worker. I…read morewas in San Francisco for a conference and was in a desperate way because of the pain I was experiencing. After arriving in San Francisco and during a visit with a cousin, he suggested that I go for "one more" consultation with a surgeon. Fortunately, Dr. Cobbs had time to see me on April 30, 2013. In short, he took the most amazing care of me. For months and months I had suffered with unrelenting back and leg pain. I had seen many doctors, all of them quite able, but had received so many mixed and conflicting diagnoses and treatment plans that I was truly confused. In some ways, I do not think that the doctors themselves knew how to proceed with my tricky and complicated problem. Well, when I saw Dr. Cobbs he immediately diagnosed my problem (synovial cyst on the spine which was pressing on the nerve root) which was followed by surgery to remove the cyst that day. When I woke up from the surgery the pain was gone. I could have just cartwheeled down the hall of the hospital. Yes, the surgery was successful but that only tells part of the story. Dr. Cobbs' diagnostic skills were superb, his interpersonal skills were outstanding, and his post-operative care was second to none. He recognized that I was a bit nervous to have surgery by someone I had just met but he inspired confidence and explained the problem and surgical procedure in the most gentle and accessible terms. I am now back in Toronto (my home) and cannot fully express my gratitude to Dr. Cobbs and his team. His admin staff were gentle, informative, and helpful. Thank you to the entire team for giving me back my life. If you are looking for an outstanding neurosurgeon with great interpersonal skills then book an appointment with him. You will find a surgeon who truly takes an interest in the personal well-being of his patients. When you look in Wikipedia for a description of the perfect doctor, there should be a picture of Dr. Cobbs. Clare from Toronto
