I had new steer tires put on my semi truck and I had a shake at the wheel at around 70 mph. They had me bring it back in to tackle the problem and come to find out. It was a tire that I had purchased separately and had them mount and balance. Even though it wasn't their fault at all, they followed up with me day after day to find out how it was driving and wouldn't accept the shake and had me bring it back in. Finally, I was able to send that tire back and get everything corrected and they wouldn't even accept any more money from me. all they were concerned about was making sure that me, the customer was happy. I went to another car shop and they are replacing pads and turning rotors for less than 500.00 taxes and all. Said I could do one axle at a time if I needed to. Really? This is an option? Half the price and was nice about it. Midas was not a fan of me calling a family member to ask for information and sure not a fan to do anything but sell for profits. Poor customer service Midas. Costco found a nail in my tire and said the nearest appt time would be 6 hrs away or the next day…read moreat 5:30 pm. Started looking around and decided to try Larry's Automotive. They said they would look at it for me and be able to repair it while I was there. When I got there I was amazed at the amount of vehicles located around the bldg and figured some were waiting for parts. There were three people working the counter when I got there. The guy I talked to was very courageous and friendly. Checked in and sat in the waiting room for about 15 minutes when he came out and said he had good news. He had the nail in his hand which turned out to be a screw that was ground down and said it had not penetrated the tire with no damage and no charge, he gave me my keys and I found my vehicle parked directly outside the building. I definitely will be back if I need any repairs later on. I have lived in Newburgh for three years and I'm in my 80's. There are a lot of horror stories out there about rip off's and I suggest you check out this place. I feel confident about getting a fair shake here.
