Instead, he acts as lead mechanic, insisting that they verify work done meets HIS high standards. His customers can count on that. I do a lot of driving and Casey makes sure that I will never be on the side of the highway, calling a tow truck, when I still have 300mi to go. I head out, a single female with a basset hound, a lifetime NRA membership, and the security that comes with knowing that Casey will only send me off in a rig that will not quit. I had a nightmare experience with 2tech Auto in chico Ca, (read the yelp review its an entertaining…read morereview) and only 2 hours left on my breathalyzer till it locked out my car, this was from disconnecting the battery which is apparently not allowed. I did so cause the unit was draining the battery at night to keep itself warm in the cold. Nevertheless I called 99smog and Tune and he said come on out with no appointment, which saved me a 300$ tow if he had said make an appointment my car would have locked out. When I got there they were very sympathetic towards my situation and had me out of there in 15 minutes. I couldnt have expected them to show more empathy and kindness from what had endured at 2tech auto. They charge less than most places and their minimum is only 55$. Its a nice drive to Gridley 20 minutes if you live in Chico go to to these guys. Very professional worth the drive.

Coming home from a music festival…read morein Grass Valley, tired from camping all week, with a full car of camping stuff, when my 2015 Suburu decides to start jumping and coughing and stalling and throwing scary warning signs and engine lights. I was by myself and frantic. I got my car to the Napa auto parts shop in Marysville and the very nice guy there suggested The Fix It Shop. I called them and the owner said he was there and could look at it right away. The tow truck experience was another story (Don't go to C and F), but I finally got my car there and Ajay from the Fix IT Spot calmly checked out the check engine light codes, then tinkered under the hood, found the broken/messed up vacuum hose and fixed it right away. He took it for a quick test drive and I was ready for my trip home - 150 more miles on a hot highway 20 to home! I am so incredibly grateful to him and to this shop and to the saints and ancestors who got me there. He brags about low prices and he is not wrong!
