Kids grilled cheese

We came for brunch on Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. The views are gorgeous, the ambience and decor is beautiful. It definitely has the spa/ hotel vibe as it is very quiet and calming. The food and drinks were delicious. The fries that came with the burger were outstanding as was the Bloody Mary. Just be prepared to wait. It wasn't super busy and we were there for about 40 min without having gotten drinks and food. It is very relaxing and we didn't mind the wait just don't go there if you are in a rush or looking for a quick bite.

Stopped in for a delightful brunch today. So many good things to note. A true Catskills gem. Tasteful design blends into the relaxed atmosphere. The staff is really exceptional. Richard and Trinity went above and beyond to create a wonderful brunch experience for us. The food is simply delightful. Delicious and skillfully prepared. Looking forward to an encore visit for dinner soon

We had dinner here while staying at the hotel down the road. First off, the property is gorgeous. We arrived early for happy hour drinks at the bar, which is daily from 5pm to 6pm. All of our expectations were exceeded. Cocktails were delicious. There was live music, which was a plus. Our server was so polite and knowledgeable. The menu did have a decent amount of variety. We were served complimentary popovers We started with the steak tartar which was extremely fresh. We went with the pork and the gnocchi. Both portions were generous. Overall would recommend!

Loved the sea bass but it was such a tiny portion

Loved the cocktail I got, the sea bass (but it was a crazy tiny portion so I left hungry), and the creme brûlée. The pasta special wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. Definitely skip the Caesar salad and the beef tartare. Also - reservation system is wonky. Nothing was available online so I called and they gave me a reservation but then when we arrived, they said it wasn't in the system. Luckily, they were still able to seat us.

This review is for the restaurant only, though I did peek at the grounds and the rest of the place looks awesome! Came for breakfast on July 4 and had a great meal with my family. Started with hot coffee, then tried the French omelette, pancakes, grilled bacon and breakfast potatoes. Everything was super tasty and service was great. Definitely want to return for lunch/dinner!

Food, service, atmosphere absolutely beautiful and tasty . The hotel and restaurant are decorated so timeless but originally modern ....so many unique touches . The service was impeccable. The food and cocktails perfect . I had the foie gras starter and Scottish salmon for my main meal, wow the sauce was so flavorful. The oysters and mussels fresh as could be . Lovely evening.

We have been coming to Villa Roma since 2019 during the Summer and we love it, although it has…read moredefinitely gone downhill because we do have a fun time during the Summer, and we decided to try and come here for New Year's Eve. We were all so excited! We arrived today and it is not at all what we expected. There is only one word to describe this trip so far "FREEZING"!!! Everybody is walking around in jackets and ski caps, or have heavy blankets wrapped around them. The halls feel like a morgue. We just came from the nightclub and everyone was complaining about how freezing cold it is. I actually saw children crying and their parents had to take them out. My daughter and I tried staying for the show, but had to walk out because we couldn't take it anymore. You have to be so happy if you happen to run across a small area of the hallways that has a "warm spot". ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? We spent over $700 a night for this New Year's Eve event and we can't even enjoy it. How can you run a hotel like this and expect people to ever come back? It's a disgrace!!!! For all the money I spent and I have to get sick, and now my daughter has a sore throat! Not to mention, I was in shock when they told me I have to pay for the New Year's Eve party after the dinner. WHAT?!!! I was never told that when I made my reservation. I am now so disgusted with this place and my heart is breaking because we truly loved it. Definitely going to look for other options from now on. Who knew I'd be spending my time in a freezer, and now I'm in my hotel room instead of being in the nightclub. THIS IS WHAT I SAVED UP MY MONEY FOR?! Another thing to add on because, we had to go to our room instead of the freezing nightclub we thought we'd get some snacks at the very least to have in the room. Well, SURPRISE, SURPRISE, the vending machine is broken and I lost money. I think it's time we all looked elsewhere for our hard earned vacation.
