Good food and beer selection, a jukebox, and an awesome game room (billiards, foosball, ping-pong, and air hockey tables).

There is plenty of off street parking on the side and to the rear of the restaurant. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Our server (I wish I could recall her name) was fantastic. Very friendly, took out drink order quickly (by the way this is BYOB) and asked us if we wanted to put in an order for appetizers. We ordered the following appetizers: pepper shooters, fried calamari and the pork belly. Salads come with every meal and a nice small charcuterie board is complimentary. My steak came out exactly as I ordered it and was tender, well seasoned and hot when I received it. The chicken was very tasty and always also served hot. I really can't say enough about he server. She was a young darker haired girl with a great personality and very confident when she read us the specials. She even made a few suggestions, all of which were very good. The atmosphere is really nice and bother owners came to our table at the end of the evening. The owners were very cordial and talked to use for a short period of time. I wish the owners the very best of luck but I don't think they'll need it as this is a very well run restaurant. The pricing was very reasonable and overall, an excellent choice for a nice dinner.

Once you walk into this rustic old home now converted into a cozy restaurant you immediately notice…read morethe character. The large wooden bar shows its age in the best way, giving off that classic, old-school feel. There are about 20 tables and roughly 10 or 15 bar stools in the main seating area. They do take reservations, and it's smart to make one if you want to guarantee a spot. We were greeted right away and served complimentary water and fresh sourdough bread with sea salt and olive oil. The sourdough was incredible honestly some of the best I've had. My wife ordered the chicken parm, which came in a large portion with fresh, house-made pasta. The sauce was excellent, truly one of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken cutlet was perfectly pounded, breaded, and crispy on the outside. I went with one of their standard pizzas a white pie with fresh garlic, honey, and other toppings that all worked beautifully together. Their sourdough pizza dough has been in the family for years from what we were told. The oven appears to be a brick oven (not sure if it's firewood or propane), but it has to be running at 1,000 degrees or more given the incredible crust. They also have a full bar with plenty of beer options. Parking is on a dirt lot across the street, with a small side lot as well. Service was excellent across the board. This is the type of spot that absolutely belongs on the TV show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I can't say enough about how much we loved the food.

The start and basics were delicious as always, but then our dish came out with pasta that was so underdone, it couldn't be saved; if they put it back on the heat, the seafood would surely be overcooked. Then the server made us feel like we were in the wrong after having to send it back twice and finally agreeing to take the dish off the bill. No offer to bring us a different pasta dish or pizza. No offer of dessert for the table. We were so disappointed, and it started a birthday weekend off on the wrong foot.

Well, at least we kept our word today when we ordered their two different bowls for takeout. My wife ordered the Fishbowl ($30) with the grilled fish of the day (salmon), cherry tomatoes, quinoa, feta, peaches, arugula, and basil lime vinaigrette (she said no to onions). She could not get over how tasty the quinoa tasted and wondered how they prepared it. She also thought the peaches could have been a little sweeter since we are in prime peach season. While the salmon was just slightly overcooked we'll attribute that to it continuing to cook as we drove the meals home. Even with those minor negatives, she said she would definitely order the dish again. I chose the Poke Bowl ($35) for my meal (my first ever poke bowl) with marinated raw tuna and salmon, edamame, cucumber, watermelon radish, snap peas, nori, avocado, sesame seeds, scallions, and pea tendrils, all over sushi rice with ginger gochugaru oil and soy sauce on the side. This was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful blend of fresh flavors and textures. If I have another poke bowl somewhere else I only hope it can come close to measuring up to the enjoyment I experienced with this one.

Innkeepers Ste and Nicole are a young dynamic couple who are as welcoming as they are fascinating to chat with. The setting is absolutely lovely, with a view of rolling green hills and a pond. They found the perfect mix of "comfy and deluxe", with luxurious robes, a shower with SIX water sources, a basket of goodies and high end toiletries. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and made with high end bedding. Breakfast, not surprisingly was absolutely delightful--they served a frittata (and had checked in advance to know we had both vegetarians and meat eaters in our party). In addition they offered a self-serve counter of fruit, granola, yogurt, bread and muffins with excellent coffee. Everything was locally sourced and handmade. Such a shame that we didn't have more time-we'll have to plan a longer visit next time to allow for checking out some of the neighboring towns and taking a hike.
