Stay away! Took my truck in for a hard shift with a CEL. They diagnosed as needing to be rebuilt and said it was a "common problem". When I picked my truck up, I noticed a leak before I drove off. They put it on the lift and fixed the leak. Driving home that night hard shift on the same gears and the same code. Took it back. After a few days they said it's fixed. Two days later same issue. Took it back again and after a few days they returned the truck. This time it was fixed. I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. Whatever tech worked on my truck definitely had the " that's the next guys problem" attitude. read more

Then finance company calls wanting the car. They said they told them I WAS NEVER APPROVED for the loan, now been trying to get ahold of them for 2 weeks no answer on phone, email, left messages. What an amazing experience and service these guys provide! I was referred by a coworker to Ronnie who had a older BMW 7 series with a transmission rebuilt here years ago. I have a GMT400 with a 4L60 and upgraded to a stage 2. And wow I'm glad I made the decision to do so. They are very informative and explain parts of the transmission which I had a great sense for. I know you're super-busy and my car was returned to me a little dusty, so I shouldn't have been so critical. A few weeks ago I gave an unfair review. it turns out I was mistaken on a couple things and I gave them a poor review saying that they didn't take good care of my Mazda-5. They actually had the best prices compared to 2 other shops and I got my car back quickly. My mistake was that I had my car looked at 2 other shops and at one of them, they broke the panel on the driver's side and the engine cover was left off so I assumed it was Transmission Factory---I was totally ticked-off at the wrong guys. i APOLOGIZE GUYS. The positives: Robbie the general manager is warm and friendly. I was referred to them by the company financing my transmission repair. The negatives: It the DIRTIEST shop I've ever been too. I had my car towed there in the evening, so I didn't have a clue. When I picked up my car, my gosh, I know auto shops are places of tools, grease and cars, but this place was seriously cluttered, and you could see the lack of care inside the garage. I could see the filth from literally 50 yards away...the office was horrible too. For the money I'm paying, I expect better. Offering financing means they have a leg up on their competition for business, they should have some pride! My car was dirty when I got it back. You'd think they'd wipe down the areas they were working on at least. My car's transmission still wasn't right either. It's driving better, but not completely. Dirty Place. My Nissan was having transmission issues and I came to find out that these CVT break down. They offered me with the options of replacing the "Valve Body", rebuilt transmission or new transmission. I went with the "Valve Body" and it is working good. I was told that if this didn't work then they would perform the rebuilt and only charge the difference. I would recommend them and use them again! If you have a Nissan with transmission, check with the dealership to see if they extended the warranty on the transmission (They know this is a problem with their vehicles). read more

My car wouldn't go faster then 30mph. Took my car to Transmission Factory and from the start, Ray was HONEST and up front about everything. Ray told me he would need the car for 2 or 3 days and i got my car back on the third driving very well. A few reviews state that the work area and office area is dirty with parts and boxes all over the place. I had a really positive experience with this company. My car left me stranded late afternoon on a day of record heat--119 degrees! I was so frustrated and worried. I found Transmission Factory on my phone app and called Robby and explained my problem. He was friendly and helpful. He towed my car over and had a diagnosis and quote first thing the next morning. His price was reasonable and he brought 2 options to choose from with either new or rebuilt parts. He discussed with me the benefits of both options to help me decide. The repair was completed quickly. I really appreciated the customer service and speed. The thing is, when you are stranded and emotional, it could be easy to take advantage of the situation. But I felt that this company did a professional job of treating me fairly and getting me back on the road. read more

I'm not much for writing reviews but I feel compelled to do so. I took my van to TF for motor mounts. The price was reasonable if it would have been 1 visit...it turned into 4 visits to get one job done. Supposedly took my car for test drives but I would never have let a car leave my establishment sounding and feeling like my car did. Finally went yesterday and arranged to bring it back today. The guy who said this place is filthy hit the nail on the head...everytime I went there and left it, after pick up, I ran it thru the carwash..even inside greasy handprints, not cool. I washed my car yesterday and hadn't driven it until this morning, to take it over to be repaired...I am anal about the look of my van, I wash it daily...Have a pass... picked it up, FINALLY running right...got it home and found a lovely dent in my hood.. exactly where you would drop it down to close it...bet there was a tool in someones hand when it was closed... I bought a car that had the transmission rebuilt by The Transmission Factory. Everything was great until the torque converter came apart. The rebuild only had 3000 on it. I understand that sometimes parts fail. I thought that the transmission was under warranty for 1 year. I even had the receipt from the previous owner showing he paid $2500 to have the trans rebuilt. Robby, the owner of The Transmission Factory, said the warranty doesn't transfer to a new owner. But he also said he stands behind his work. He actually did replace the defective torque converter and didn't charge me anything, so that was cool. However, I take the car home and within 100 miles the transmission starts to slip in and out of gear. (This never happened before the torque converter failed.). I called Robby back, explained what was going on, and he said would not fix it under warranty. Again, there was only 3000 miles on the rebuild. Apparently Robby doesn't stand behind his work as much as he claims to. So now I have a newly rebuilt transmission from The Transmission Factory that doesn't work like it should, and they won't fix it. Only 3000 miles and they won't "stand behind their work".
