Our kitchen designer was helpful and courteous, and we ended up with a cool design with a good amount of high-end features (all plywood, 42 inch upper, two lazy susans, big base cabinet drawers, etc.) for our budget. The experience was much more pleasant than our quotes at Lowes/Home Depot, and we got a very reasonable quote. We ordered and paid on August 4th. Cabinets were actually delivered on September 12th. The 5+ week lead time was longer than we anticipated but workable and more of an issue with Waypoint. I was very concerned about potential quality issues based on reading online forums. There were some relatively minor paint problems that we can probably touch up (the promised touch up kit was not included in our sink base, unfortunately). We discovered two bigger problems: a cracked wall cabinet door and a missing gap in the design with no filler pieces to address. The 3.5 inch gap should have been addressed in the kitchen design and measuring process, but, alas, it was not. These two issues have delayed the completion of our project, inconveniencing my family and our install contractor. I reported the problem on 9/14, and we still have not received the corrected pieces as of 9/22. Tracking indicates possible delivery on 9/23. Waypoint claims to have "Rapid Resolution", but 9 days is far from rapid when you are in the middle of a renovation project. I was told the parts shipped on 9/16, but tracking indicates that shipment did not occur until 9/21. I hate to give a negative review, because the people I have worked with at Round Rock Cabinets have been friendly and helpful. That said, I don't feel very good about this situation. After a pretty good start to our project, the communication and resolution of our issues has not inspired much confidence.

Antonio and his team made our vision come true. Starting with Anna who drew up the schematics and was very communicative and professional every step of the project. Antonio's idea of the shape of our breakfast bar done in quartz was perfect for our space. The bar has a waterfall at each end and gives more seating than we thought possible. The porcelain island was extend in length by 16" to accommodate 6 to 8 seats. all the counters and backsplashes were done in porcelain to give that exquisite look. They added a shelf wrapped in porcelain that is flushed with the cabinet. Below they extended the countertop and add a waterfall leaving a space for the wine cooler They also applied the porcelain around the windows from ceiling to the baseboards and added crown molding to finish the look. Eduardo and his team of installers were very professional, courteous, thoughtful, respectful and diligent. We are so very grateful and pleased with Legacy. The many styles are great to see in person, and there are some amazing choices including glossy cabinets that open upwards like gull-wing doors on a car. And some of the tiles are incredibly realistic in their mimicry of expensive marble or other stone. Of course there are samples of real stone from brands like Cambria and there are displays of handles and pulls for every style. It's good to have options and this is a welcome addition to north Austin!

I have a new project where I recommended that my client take my drawing and have them design something similar for the laundry room as his new house has no cabinets there. They do a fabulous job here and you won't be disappointed. I use a custom cabinet company for custom millwork in the main living areas, etc.. but for closets and laundry rooms and even home offices I think they can do a great job! They did my master bedroom and den closets for me. I went with the darker wood because that's what I had throughout, but I recommend using white in closets as it doesn't show the dust as much.
