We were looking into a bathroom remodel and got 3 different quotes. We had the best rapport with Kristi but her quote came in higher than the others (not by a huge amount but significant enough for us to debate). In the end, since we'd had previous projects where we went with cost savings and then weren't 100% satisfied after, we picked Fix It Chick. Definitely the right decision! The extra cost she estimated at the beginning just proved her in depth knowledge of the whole project and the excellence they'd be providing throughout. All of her contractors were great and the quality of their work was amazing. We thought we had a good eye for detail but still missed little things she spotted during her various walk throughs to have her team fix. I also really appreciated her initial consultations. We didn't have a very specific design vision and she really helped bring our general idea to life, choosing a handful of options for us to pick from in regards to tile, furniture, lighting, etc. She even solved a big-to-me problem in our bathroom of wanting to have our laundry hidden. We needed somebody who could be on site and make decisions with little direct guidance. Denise did the design, the required budgeting, and the planning work upfront to make sure all the required materials would be ready. Then, being the one-stop-shop she is, Denise and her team were able to supervise the clean-up, do the required touch up of paint and such, assemble new furniture pieces, and provide and install all the original art needed to make the place a show stopper. We were super satisfied with the results and feel only an approach like Denise's could have got this done on time and on budget!

It's been long over-due to write this review of our kitchen/living room remodel. However, with…read morealmost 2 years out, I think we have a good perspective now. April is probably great if you have no idea what you want for your remodel and want her to just design and do it all. However, we knew exactly what we wanted, how we wanted things designed and the specifications we wanted. April did not pay close attentions to all the details we provided her. Cabinets etc were undersized. We had to go back and forth many times. Very cheap materials and labor are used (only single coats of paint and now we have had to repaint most surfaces already with just simple user wear/tear). Cheap material was used in the pantry that we had to have her pull out right after assembly. She spend nearly all of her design hours researching a job that she really could not do. In the end, we are not very happy with most of the work quality or the experience. Next time we need to do a remodel of anything else in our house (which we are starting to plan now for our master bathroom), we will certainly go elsewhere.
