I have been a long time customer of Tuffy. I first went there when the transmission died on my Jeep…read moreWrangler. It was a Mercedes trans and very expensive to fix so I got multiple estimates. Tuffy had the correct diagnosis from the start even after going to specialty trans places in the area and the lowest price and warranty by far. I have gone there ever since. Most recently, I had my battery die and my brakes go out on me twice. Tuffy sent Chuck out to help me out with my battery even on a Saturday (it happened across the street at Kroger) and saved me on a tow. They stood by their warranty when my brake line went bad and pads got damaged. And then got me in next day and had the work completed on my pads, rotors and caliper on my rear brakes by the next morning-even with having to order parts! I even get my oil changed there because they are the most affordable around. Tuffy treats me like I am their family. I know I can always trust them to give me the best price possible. Kathy, Doug and Brian are always friendly and Chuck and the other techs do great work. I love that I can support a small, family owned local business. And I never feel like I am being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. Thank you Tuffy for making sure I'm always safe and keeping life in my vehicle.

I took it in and had a quote as to what had to be done and approx. how much. Doug, the manager, is a very friendly, informative person and explained it all. Enjoy talking to him. After inspecting the front and rear brakes Brian called, said what actually has to be done, what it was going to cost and when it would be done. When it came time to pick up the car and pay, I was pleasantly surprised the bill was less than the quote. Can't say enough, they did a great job, and I'll continue to have my vehicles serviced there

Purchased our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited CPO from Jim Riehl initially. Big mistake. It had…read more15,000 miles on it when we bought it, the price changed significantly when we went to pick it up and we were sold some warranty that was an extra $3,000. Short version is the check engine light came on a few weeks later, they wanted to charge $300 to diagnose it and ended up saying it needed a part that was on national back order. Asked about the warranty since we were never given paperwork for that. They say there's no warranty besides the factory warranty so we're responsible unless it's engine or transmission related. Check engine light does not classify as engine apparently. 10 months went by, I finally went in to get a refund for the part and was going to buy it online. Magically it was in stock. They wanted more to install it, so I did it myself. Light came back on and they assured me they did a thorough test. Looked up the code online and multiple people said to check a sensor easily accessed in the back. Wasn't even plugged in. Plugged it in, fixed. You'd think that would have been seen in the thorough inspection and diagnosis. During that time I noticed the hood bubbling. Was told "they all do that". Body shop would not return phone calls and said it's not worth fixing when I finally did talk to someone. Frustrated I called corporate and they told me they don't do much because even though it's covered 7 year 70k warranty for anti rust/corrosion, the dealerships are independently owned and they don't have to fix it by choice. So zero help there. Tried parkway, another dealer off Telegraph, all had the same story. Was about to give up and decided to call Dick Heuvarre. SOO glad we did!! There was a wait but Corey the body shop manager was on top of it. Had us come in to take pictures, set up an appointment a month or so out. Dropped off, gave us a rental in the meantime and end of the week it was like new. The entire experience is what I would expect from any dealership but they not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. We dropped the vehicle off pretty filthy with 2 kids and just returning from a road trip the day before we were on a time crunch to get it there. Everybody and I mean everybody was friendly, punctual, professional, and the grand slam was they even washed the entire vehicle and even cleaned out and vacuumed the whole inside. Like a complete detail. Talk about going the extra mile. There were no surprises except when we picked it up and it was completely clean in and out. Truly exceptional service. Cannot say enough good things about this dealership and they definitely have us as customers for life. Thank you so so much everyone! I am ashamed of Jim Riehl, Parkway, and the other dealerships we dealt with and so happy we found this one. Sincerely, Jacquelyn & Jonathan Blake

Ok understand I have no other chance to feel good about the money that was taken from these guys…read moreother than to warn others about Peak Powersports. I dropped off my 2006 honda trx90ex because it stopped running, carb issue, also asked them to fix neutral indicator switch and adjust valves. They took it in and a day or so later said it would be $413.00 to do that work, so I bit the bullit and told them to do the work. A couple days goes by and I get a call from Nick (service mgr.)saying there is noise in the bottom end, and shifting is weird and itll cost $700 more dollars to split the cases to find out what is wrong. I politely decline the service and pay my $413 for services rendered. The funny part is the reciept doesnt say too much about the work they did, very vague description at best. So they start it and it barely runs, very noisy in the top end. So I ask the guy who brought it out of the shop what gives? He has no answer. The noise is clearly from the top end of engine, no professional needed to diagnose there. So off I go, big mistake there I know. If you aren't satisfied now is the time right? Well I didnt complain. I get it home and it runs terribly, surges when you give it throttle wants to stall. Mind you it ran very well with none of these issues up until it sat for a few months and didnt want to start. So I call Nick back at Peak, and he says SURE bring it back in well be happy to work on it. That gave me a sick feeling like they wanted to extort more money from me. I decided to not take it in because I will NOT ever give my money to these buffoons. So yesterday i decided to check the valve clearances for my own sanity. Guess what, they were adjusted soooo loose, I went ahead and adjusted to spec .05mm or .002" and violá nice quiet motor. Well you can see why I am upset. 1st they did not do what was quoted to do, 2nd they asked to do more work on something entirely unrelated. I always wondered why I never see any customers around there when passing by. Now I know, unfortunately I wasnt in the know when I took it there for service. Please heed my warning!!! They will take your money and I highly doubt you will get what you pay for in terms of service. 12/11/16 I have driven by Peak over the past year and have even needed service but I steer clear of these guys due to their mishandling of my trx90 quad. I have also noticed very little activity at the business. I think the word is out on these guys! Glad to see they aren't doing a great deal of business.
