I had a disasterous situation a few years back, and State Farm made good on it. Two years later, what began as a quick account review by Justin at Coe's office to see if State Farm could meet my USAA rates...became a meet and BEAT by far. Between the rate beat and an added incentive to bundle, I actually decided to up my coverages too(as it was 'found' $, that I didn't have before). Well " we were transitioning" my policy was " lost in the shuffle" and " she doesn't work here anymore" I was told by adion financial when I realized my policy had lapsed. After 3 days of waiting for return phone calls. I was told my premium would be double and a300$ deposit was needed. Policy could not be reinstated. Mae the supervisor never called back. Anya from customer service no help. So I called nationwide myself to get my policy reinstated no help from adion at all. I am not an insurance agent and got better results my policy will be transferred to another agency shortly. The earliest opportunity I had for repair to my car was 5 days later, which I accepted. When I learned of a school postponement due to storm on the day I was scheduled, I let the vendor know of the situation, and I also contacted the insurance company that has our auto policy. They were of very little help at all in finding a solution for me. I then called Evans, Pires & Leonard Inc. - the agency that handled the policy to begin with. I explained that I'd been driving all week with no window on my driver's side door and that I was now having difficulty getting a glass repairer to work with me without a week's delay. Before that day was over, I had an appointment for the following morning, which was beneficial to me. The glass repairer was excellent, and I am wholly satisfied with the work done. Had it not been for the help of Evans, Pires & Leonard Inc., I'd still be driving without a window until such time as the initial repairer could see fit to assist me.

I talked to Marcus but little if anything changed. I looked closer at the policy. They had our employee cost at $420,000 a year when it is closer to $120,000. There were many add ons that were not accurate. I checked with my insurance agency managing my residential property. I cancelled Marcus Insurance since I feel they jacked up our rates to cover their cost of merging to another larger firm. My new coverage is half as much. Calls to the old former owner Mitch sound like I am being transferred to a Florida home. He was pleasant but his son with the red hair has little interest, is rude, and janked the papers I came to sign to cancel with Marcus Insurance out of my hand. Look at other agencies. They are overpriced.
