It's kind of fun to be able to just sit and watch the planes fly by and play a game with yourself to guess which airline it is. While a large percentage of them are Alaska airlines planes you can catch a Lufthansa, American, ANA, etc. If you're the outdoorsy type, there are a few walking paths and you can walk on the pier as well and basically stand out in the middle of the water. It's perfect for people watching. You can catch fishermen and fisherwomen, scuba divers and people in boats, runners, and people searching around for treasures down in the shells. It's really a place for most anyone to find something to keep busy with. You can just sit and relax and listen to the sound of the waves gently wash in if you like the simpler side of life. I'd say it's probably one of my favorite parks.

Do not swim in this water. Seriously. There's also a long pier, part of the marina area, where people enjoy crabbing and fishing off of. Low tide will yield several delightful sea creatures for your viewing pleasure. The park also has the benefit of a large grass area, which is used for all sorts of events during the summer months. Beyond that there's a very nicely maintained, paved trail. The over all area is a nice place to get out and enjoy the fresh air while there are a bunch of little cafes/restaurants all along to main road.

It was very difficult getting around in a stroller with many stairs and there are lots of paths that you cannot go with a stroller or a wheelchair. Highly recommend bringing some kind of a backpack to carry your child in

I have many a magical photo of daring sunsets taken from the high hill view. Down below is seashore accessable from rickety stairs. Not too much down there. Fun to hunt sand dollars -There are many at low tide. Beware, though, of the marihuana enthusiast who generously share their fowl smelling fumes. And the trashy kids that loiter in the parking lot and fornicate in their vehicles... Sad stuff. No judgement.

Having lived in Federal Way for forty years, keeping his service close to home was important. Miraculously, Dumas Bay Centre had the Eagleview Room available on a Sunday in May. The room was large enough to easily facilitate our gathering. It was surrounded by wall-to-wall windows, overlooking a beautiful open space and the Puget Sound. The staff were so very helpful and accommodating. The food was very good, served on-time, and cleaned up discreetly. All of the equipment we used functioned well. Parking was a breeze. Everyone in attendance remarked on what a lovely venue this was. Thank you for making a difficult time in our lives a little easier to bear.
