I was actually very pleasantly surprised when I entered. The building consists of 30+ rooms that can be rented by hairdressers and other beauty gurus. The renter then decorates their space as their own and it really becomes their own personal salon. Now on to my hairdresser, Ashley! I've been coming to her for a while now and am always thrilled with her service. She is amazing and very knowledgeable when it comes to the industry. It's great having a hairdresser that you can trust. Her salon is "Friends" inspired and is SO cute!

I went to get my hair done there for the first time. She obviously doesn't have anything to do with iStudios. I didn't do a walk in on the location where I went to a random find. Environment I love the private places. I am not swapped to other places, this is just based on what my stylist has booked. I enjoy the facilities she has, well, the seat and the wash bowl is not very comfortable compared to the one she had! Wish they made things more ergonomic for the stylist and client. There is 1 set of bathrooms for all the studios. Niceness of the staff There is no front desk staff that could place you with anyone if you need. I went home and did my research and found out they do perms! I saw some reviews and reached out to see if they would be able to take me in. They responded promptly and I was able to come in right away. I want to preface by saying I had a conversation via text about what I wanted and the health of my hair. There were inspiration photos as well as photos of my hair to get a gist of things. But overall, it was discussed that it was possible to get the outcome I wanted. That being said, I went to the salon and got my perm. It was wavy but not as curly as I wanted. I left a little disappointed. But, paid and went about my day. The next morning, I woke up and my once wavy perm was just flat. I reached out to the salon to see if we could re-perm my hair because I wasn't quite content with the outcome. They responded quickly and were able to book me that day. When I got to the salon, I was apologetic for having to redo my perm, but they were so understanding and kind about the entire situation. They re-permed my hair and the outcome was everything I wanted! I was so happy. The curls came out beautiful and my hair is still very healthy despite being permed twice within two days. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. And thank you to John for taking care of me!

They responded and asked if I could send them photos of my hair and its current state, so I sent them one. By 12:00 PM, they asked if I could come in between 1:00-1:30 PM that day, and I said yes! I drove from Tampa, FL to Orlando, FL and was met by Grace at the front desk and Andrew who did my FIRST curly/wave perm. I have virgin hair, by the way He sat me down, looked at my hair, talked about what I wanted, washed my hair, and gave me a much needed cut. I didn't have a hair cut for over year since that day I went in, so it was appreciated with my hair being down to my tail bone He gave me exactly what I wanted: cut off 3-4 inches, gave my layers and volume while taking off dead ends When he started the digital perm process, he went for the cold method and was particular about his technique to ensure that I got the curls/waves that I wanted with twisting the hair while rolling it closer to my scalp At the end of it, the total was about $360, but I ended up spending upward of $440 because of the tip that Andrew DESERVED While I was getting my hair done, Shauna was hospitable and took great care of me to ensure that I felt comfortable. She brought me earl grey tea and was so kind every time she asked if I was okay and needed anything I'll gladly come back to get my perm done again in the future

If you pay cash, a men's haircut + perm is $80 which is really affordable! This is about 2-3 hours of work. Tiffany is great here, but I've also had Tony and loved him as well. You can't go wrong here and you're in good hands! I do recommend calling for an appointment, they get pretty busy on the weekends which is understandable. You may be able to walk in if you come early, or visit during the weekends. They have a parking lot in the back but I always found it really easy to just park on the street in front of the plaza. Note the hair salon is towards the right end of the small plaza (their nail salon is on the left).

There are a couple other people that work there as contractors, but I don't think they have a receptionist. If you're local and need an appointment, it's probably best to stop in to make one.
