Place is very chill. Was here on a Saturday afternoon. Order at the bar type of situation. Reasonably priced food. Signs say they have a free basement tour on Thursdays. Not sure what that's all about but I'm intrigued. Great location in Kenton. I'll be back.

Stopped in for a corn beef Ruben and chili. They were kind and split the sandwich onto two plates for us. Sandwiches here do NOT disappoint. Note: They have St Paddy's day celebrations this weekend with a corn beef dinner.

Neighborhood corner bar & restaurant that is casual, fun and chill atmosphere. The food is basic but good. Try the Reuben! Great serving of fries. Friends said the beer on tap was good. I had the BLT. It was decent but needed some mayo and full lettuce leaves, not shredded. Wait staff was attentive, friendly and spirited. Decent visit and I would come back.

Have t tried any of the food. But enjoy coming here for music and drinks. A country/woodsy divey bar. With shows and food. I assume the food is good because the kitchen is moving throughout the evening. Bartenders are also busy making you a quick and affordable drink. And the music scene is a variety from Country, rock, punk, island etc... Located close to many other places to eat, drink or shop. I would recommend checking this place out. Let's keep this place rollin.

Nothin fancy, just hearty pub grub here in a relaxed sports bar setting, and I believe they have free pool as well. The burgers, while not the best I've ever had are still tasty, cheap and hit the spot. The Bunyan burger (w/ ham and fried egg) was delicious and filling. You can also upgrade to curly fries. Also, their HH (3-6) is great value - $5.50 pints, $8 for cheeseburger as fries and other offerings as well.

It's a bar so expect bar food. I can't complain about the food since I didn't look at the menu. The website states it's "KENTON STATION IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY RESTAURANT AND PUB" and I can say for my first time in the pub I found it to be exactly that, friendly. I met some friends there and they had already ordered, so I just told the waitress I would have what they're having. The staff is very cool and relaxed. It's a very chilled place to eat and drink. The food was okay and it' was lots of food. The flavors was just as expected for fish and chips. I would go back.

A great place that felt like authentic Portland. As a first time visitor to the city I wanted to go where a local would go. The outdoor seating was a few yards away from the farmers market. The indoor vibe was quirky and fun. The food was delicious!

Great service, food and staff. The history of this building is an additional plus. I had the chili which was delicious and my husband had the fish and chips, which he enjoyed.

I think this was supposed to be onion rings. Eeek! No Bueno. Someone fell asleep at the fryer.

I wasn't going to post but I feel it appropriate to warm some one else of this nightmare. Bowling alley concession stand (quality, or lack thereof) at best. I couldn't believe someone had the gall to serve what they did. The image is supposed to be onion rings. Someone checked out early.

    Sitting area and TVs!

The kid space was a great size and my two small ones loved being able to play while we ate. I loved that they had some great open ended toys and I didn't need to worry about them disturbing our neighbors. Our server, Emma, was great! She was attentive and quick. She even made our kids chocolate milk even though it's not on the menu. Our food was amazing. We had the kids butter noodles (I'd order that for my adult meal if I could!), kids cheeseburger, deviled eggs, caprese with prosciutto, and fish and chips. The fish was so good and big! It is genuinely cozy in a way that's hard to fake The reading rooms are such a great touch. Having tucked away spaces lined with books to actually sit and read, talk, or hang out in is so rare in a bar setting. It makes it feel more like a community space than just another tap house. At the same time, it works really well for large groups, we've rolled in deep before and never had an issue finding room to spread out. The beer selection is excellent. Thoughtful and rotating enough to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. Whether you want something hoppy, something dark, or something easy drinking, they've got you. And the left wing vibe is the cherry on top. It's refreshing to spend time in a space that wears its politics on its sleeve, pro-labor, pro-community, unapologetically itself. It feels like a place built for the people who actually live in the neighborhood.

Outstanding! This space suits so many purposes: studying, catching up over a drink, planning/researching, etc. There's even a conference room with seating for 11 that you can reserve. You can play board games here if no one's home is big enough for your group (their website says they no longer book the conference room for board games, but you can game there if it's not reserved). There's a few games in the upstairs green room closet. On a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of spots open, but it is not dead either. Theres a variety of seating to suit all body types and preferences. First floor is wheelchair accessible. The upstairs bathroom has ducks on the ceiling so that's worth a visit alone. The blueberry rooibos iced tea is delicious and you add your own sweetener at the drink station. It literally feels like hanging out at a friend's house. Worth popping in if you haven't been. You can check the current drink selection on their website. You order in the entryway and then carry your items to your seat. Bus your dishes back to the entryway when you leave.
