Nice cafeteria-style cafe located inside the Artisan Center. You can order burgers, sandwiches, hot entrees such as chicken & dumplings and soup. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of seating. I tried a roasted turkey sandwich with a cup of vegetable soup - perfect for a cold (very cold) lunch while on the road. Afterwards you can browse the Center (separate Yelp listing) for gifts and such.

We really enjoyed our lunch at the KAC. They offer a wide variety of items from traditional meat and sides, a grill or salad bar (our choice). The desserts looked great, too. The Artisans Center has a large craft shop with the best artists from KY and usually a demonstration artist. Well worth the short drive off of the interstate!

They close way to early for any of the locals to eat here! I love being able to get Spoonbread but I rarely can make it in time to get it!

Warm and friendly place to shop for Kentucky arts and crafts. We swing by whenever we travel that part of the state.

Great place to stop for a snack and to stretch your legs while on a road trip. Bathrooms are spectacular.

Morning was phenomenal, service was impeccable, food was definitely delicious and cooked with love, everyone was really friendly and helpful seeing as we had never been there. The interior is really nice has a home like vibe to it and very cozy. There is a even a game section in the back corner, board games, books etc. They have an interesting take on waffles! The prices are more than affordable, a full size drink can sound a little costly but I would definitely say the flights for the lattes are definitely worth it. I fell in love with Coco Loco and my boyfriend is obsessed with all of them. Womelette, Nutella waffles, and breakfast sandwich were ‍ Refreshers weren't my favorite, not sure if maybe they just put too much syrup etc in it but even my son had a hard time swallowing watermelon crawl and riptide as they had been way too sweet. Strawberry Cloud was extremely refreshing still sweet but not too much just the perfect blend. The panini was delicious accompanied with chips and balsamic vinaigrette and the fact that I could bring my dog Butters was even better! They have a gorgeous patio on the exterior. Lastly, our morning experience was definitely more accommodating than our afternoon experience. Our refreshers came in itty bitty tiny cups not worth the money of roughly 9-10 with tax. The service itself did not compare to the morning service.

The building can get crowded and harder to navigate on busy mornings. [TLDR] I'm not super into bagels so when my friends suggested that we go to Native Bagel, I wasn't sure if I'd be a fan. But their bagels are soooooo much better than anything you can get at the store. I mostly get their seasonal cream cheeses like the strawberry and pumpkin. I wish they had more cream cheese options. It does seem like they've been experimenting with different flavors and menu items recently. I like their coffee more than any other coffee shop in the area. I prefer my coffee on the sweeter side. I get the iced raspberry (or blackberry) white mocha. It's perfect! I like that I can order online. When you place an online order, they will set your order at the end of the bar near the door when it is done. The staff members are pretty nice. If you order at the counter, they will bring your food out to you. You have to throw away your trash when you are finished. The aesthetic is so pretty. I love the vibes. There are two single stall gender neutral restrooms located to the left of the order counter. They are decent size restrooms. My one gripe is about the size of the venue. It's small and a little crammed, especially since they put in the bar. At times, the place is hard to navigate as an able bodied person, so I'd imagine a disabled person with mobility issues or even someone with a stroller would have a harder time. There is a ramp to get into the main entrance of the building, however, the door is not automatic. I figure there's not much they can really do to solve the issue unless they expanded the building which I understand isn't quite feasible. I only bring this up because I love Native Bagel and I feel like it kinda does impair the experience a little bit. A person with a mobility aid would probably have as easier time navigating Just Love Coffee Cafe down the street than Native Bagel. If you go on Saturday morning it is often crowded! Be prepared to wait in line, and know that there may not be a free table to sit inside. I know this because my friend group and I went every week when we were enrolled at Berea College. There are a few tables outside by the parking lot. Also keep in mind that toward the end of the day they can start to run out of bagels. In the evening, they use the same venue for Nightjar, a bar and dine in restaurant.

My mother got a breakfast croissant and I got the lunch special (pork tenderloin, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes). My mother loved the sandwich except it came with too much bacon - if there is such a thing! The pork tenderloin special was perfect for me! It tasted like a homemade meal. I would order it again. I give this place only four stars because there was not a great selection in drinks (cream soda, root beer, al8, or water) and the coffee was terrible! The sweet lady at the register even made us a fresh pot but neither me nor my mother could drink it. I do recommend this place overall. I will go there again, especially because the desserts displayed at their counter looked AMAZING. I must try some of their cupcakes and their cinnamon bun!
