Slowest barber shop I have ever been to. Genuinely terrible. Waited for an hour and then told me it would be another 2.

They have amazing customer service and are extremely nice and talkative! I've had my hair cut twice from them and they fricken nailed it on the head both times. Normally you have to lie to a barber and say you like it when you don't really, but here they actually give you what you want and will fix it until it's exactly how you like it. I highly recommend going here and for $25 it's an awesome haircut! You can definitely tell they care about their customers. read more

This barbershop is the best. The vibes are happy, the folks are nice, and the barbers are skilled. Plus for $20, you can't beat that price. I'm very particular about my hair, so I had tried Price Cuts on Richmond road and had a TERRIBLE experience spending 3x as much. Wildcuts was a million times better despite costing less. Bonus points if you're a Kentucky fan bc there's no shortage of cool things to look at on the wall. read more

As a out of state college student, coming into the unknown, finding a good barber shop is a safe haven for many. My experience will Kentucky wildcats was awful. I enter the store and absolutely no greeting with 4 barbers working. After 20 minutes of waiting in line i was still not greeted to given any instructions on how the shop works. I am very displeased on my experience there and will not recommend any of my fellow college peers there. read more

As a fellow Chicago'an I take very much pride in my haircut. It was hard moving to Kentucky and finding a good barber that pays attention to detail until I met Ryan (barbershop owner) & Mikey. I'm 24 now and I've been coming to Ryan on & off since I was 17. Even while joining the military I would occasionally visit Lexington and always pay this man a visit def the best barbershop in my opinion in Lexington. The environment in the salon was great, to an extent. However, the barber did not listen to me when I told him what I wanted. I grew my hair out for 4 months and asked for a classic comb over "which was what I had but grown out" and walked out with a skin fade and no comb over. I have a wedding to be in and this hair cut is not me nor does it look good on me. So to put its nicely, I am pissed and currently hiding in my house with my hood on my head because this haircut is by far horrendous. If you are a skin fade hair style kinda guy, this is your place. But if not, don't go. You'll walk out looking like the head of your p***is. read more

I'm not usually one to leave a bad review but 2 of the 3 in the shop today were apprentices. I had one lady who was nice, talkative and a pleasure to be around. But damn. She couldn't cut hair to save her life. All she had to do was give me a shorter version of what I had. I didn't ask for anything fancy or tough to do. But I mean she seriously killed my hair. I have no option to wear a hat for the next month while this monstrosity grows out. She seriously butchered it. She all but shaved me to the top of my head when I had 4 inches of hair there before. I would have posted a picture but I can't even bring my self to take a picture of it. The only way to describe it is that I look like a d**k. The only thing that made this a one star over a zero is the face that they didn't charge me for it. I went in wanting a hair cut and came out with what should only be described as a felony. read more

Very good barbershop! Here's a testament to their work ethic-they came in ON LABOR DAY! The only place I could find open on a national holiday and I left for North Dakota the next day for business! I came to Lexington from out of town and I needed a last minute haircut. I called some other barbershops in the area but wasn't able to get an appointment. Luckily Wildcuts was able to fit me in their schedule. The guy who cut my hair (young guy with long hair) did a phenomenal job. I'm picky about my hair but this guy made sure he got everything 100% perfect. One of the best cuts I've had in a while, and on top of that, the most affordable haircut I've had in years. Definitely plan to return here next time I'm in Lexington. read more

I used to go here because they have Great people good haircuts but I stopped because it is just a little too expensive for students. I recommend Ammaras salon Lisa does the hair on point and she only charges $10 for a men's cut, you can try her out and decide for yourself you will not disappoint! read more

When it comes to most guys' haircuts, all a barber has to do is avoid screwing it up. Casandra is the best. She and her husband recently opened the place. It's cheap (about $12), casual and quick, and you never walk out dreading having to wear a hat for the next week. read more

Friendly barbers and dog. There are usually only two guys and they take their time (good thing but bad thing if you are waiting). Whenever I go, there is a line so I usually walk down the street to the many barber shops in the Chevy Chase area. GOOD but I don't like waiting an hour for a cut. read more

They always close well before the scheduled closing time. If you plan on going there to get a hair cut, be sure to go earlier on in the day.

Probably best place for college guys. The barbers are good at matching your cut with your style and personality and they don't try to force awkward conversation if you're just trying to chill. Laid back atmosphere - always has ESPN on and all the dude mags (even Field and Stream). The wait can be long though if you don't get there early in the day. read more

Arrived at 9:15 AM. Watched one guy get a haircut for an HOUR. Watching another guy get a flat top and they have shaved the side of his head, I don't know, 20 times. Cut hair cut the bull. 10:30 right now, still sitting here. 4 people have walked out already. Let's get out the slide rulers and start taking measurements so you have it down to the millimeter. I will keep going until I get into a chair...flat top guy is still chatting away, third time working in the top of his head. The owner, who spent the hour on the one dude, must be independently wealthy because he loses customers by not turning chairs. Keep talking. Someone just walked in and I told him it was an hour. 3 barbers 4 people waiting. AN HOUR!!!!!!!! Owner was just like "whatever". Talking about rappers now. Awesome conversation. Cut hair. Flat top guy still chatting away. Down to the microbe. How do you keep brushing hair that can't be more than half a millimeter thick and then shave it again and again???? Another 15 minutes. Still sitting here. Not sure how much more I can take. I wanted to stick around but this is out of hand. I want to see what happens though. I am at a cross roads. Do I stick for another hour? Is a $14 haircut worth it now? I have almost two hours invested. Can't do it. These guys suck. Don't get a haircut here unless you have all day to wait. read more
