Sullivan does not perform the services listed on your receipt. Employee claimed this is because it may have been "difficult". Why would I be charged for a service their technicians were incapable of completing? I brought the car to be repaired, if the technicians were incapable of performing the repair then why was this listed a completed on my receipt and money exchanged for the service? Terrible company with sub-par employees. Take your vehicle anywhere other than Sullivan Tire. The Employee working behind the counter at their Fairhaven location is a HUGE liability for this company. Sees no problem in charging for services not performed because of "difficulty," and no need to inform the customer. read more

Was charged an extra 300$ for unexplained services and treated disgustingly by the unprofessional staff there. Would not recommend getting any of the services offered at this business. Honestly wish I could've told them to Take the four new tires off that I had just put on and have my old ones back but I didn't have another 5 hours of my life to waist. I made appointment to have a tire repaired. I located the nail and marked where it was. TWO hours and fifteen minutes later, the job was done. I had told them I could come in anytime during the day and they picked the time. The only updates were when I asked how much longer. It's a 1/2 hour job at the most. read more

My tire was going flat and after 3 attempts to refill it, it was even worse. I called Bridgewater Sullivan Tire at 0650 and Steve told me the shop opened in 10 minutes. I very carefully drove down and was waited on immediately. I said I would wait until they had a schedule opening but my car was taken first. There was nothing wrong with the tire except for a corroded stem. It was replaced and I was off to work at the hospital just a short while later. This is not the first time Sullivan Tire showed extremely kind care for me and I am sure it will not be the last. Having a relationship with your mechanic is crucial when you truly cannot go without a car! read more

I had been a loyal Firestone customer and before I bought a new car I had the Brockton location due my oil changed but when I bought a brand new car I did not trust them to do my oil change (that should have been a clue) but I am incredibly loyal and still trusted them for tires and alignments. I got a nail in my tire and went in for a patch... At first the guy did not want to look at my tire because it was drizzling rain but finally he did go out side. They said due to the overall shape of my two year old tires the whole tire needed to be replaced I did not question that but when I asked for a price he did not want to check for the price now because the tire was not in stock and he would call me at work later. I did not want to give them my business. OK now I believe I need 2 New tires to match the other 2 on the car. I called Town Fair tire in the Westgate Mall because a coworker recommended them...they quoted me a price for the correct brand size but the wrong model number so it would not match the other 2 on the car. In comes Justine from the Sullivan tire web site/call center and she asked if I was sure the model number I gave her was the correct model. She did some research and disovered they quoted me the wrong tire. I contacted Town Fair back and they turned it back on me how do I not know what tires are on my car and it is not there fault I spoke with the call center not them. Needless to say I decided to go with Sullivan Tire now bare in mind I had not stepped in the store. This morning I go in the store prepared to spend $406...The guy said Firestone was trying to up sell you all you need is a $30 patch which is what I sought in the begining. I emailed for a quote on a brake job and gave them my car information including the year, make, and model and simply wanted a quote to get a brake job. They said they needed to do a brake inspection? Went in recently for an inspection sticker. Was rejected because "the steering wheel is too hard to turn when idling." Is this even an issue? WHO steers their car when the gearshift is in park? Big "R" sticker on my windshield. I left, put a little air in my front tires, and passed inspection down the street. I had 2 slow leaks repaired on my work van, no problem $30.00 each. While I was there, I was going to schedule new tire replacement for my wife's 2012 Toyota Camry SE. I read some reviews on different tires on other websites. I liked the Goodyear Eagle Sport AS. Very condescendingly he said; "he would never put those on a Camry." I don't claim to know a lot about tires so I asked, why? With a very curt attitude he said; "They're no good for that car" I asked why again. He said, "they're for a "HEAVIER CAR," I would blow my brains out before I put those on a Camry." This guy has no people skills. He made me feel like I was a nuisance that knows nothing. I asked; "what do you suggest." He said another Goodyear tire, which was about $30.00 per tire more, which was ok, I wasn't too concerned about price, I was more concerned with durability & performance. Because of his lousy attitude I didn't schedule an appointment. I went a few miles down the street to Kenwood tire. I asked the person there about the Goodyear Eagle Sport AS, he said; yes, they are a good tire. I asked if they would be ok for my Camry. He said, "yes." I told him that someone told me they wouldn't be good for a Camry. He went on to explain how different tires are manufactured, he even showed me some cross cut samples of different tires. Because of his respectful and informative way of helping me I scheduled an appointment. I've bought tires from Sullivan tire in the past for my work van, but they have just lost a customer. I wasn't going to write a review, but I went back to the reviews I read about the Goodyear Eagle Sport AS to see if the reviews were based on use with a "HEAVER CAR," as the guy at Sullivan tire said. Some of the reviewers had Corollas, Kias, & Chevy Cruiz. I didn't weigh them, but I'm pretty sure they are lighter than a Camry. read more

Had 4 tires installed. One of them failed to hold air for more than a week. When I had time to return, they told me it was too long a time for them to fix it. (They didn't even offer to charge me to fix it). Then 2 years later I had them rotate my tires. The tire that was leaking still leeks at a new location AND the tire that got put on that location leaks. So now there are 2 leaky tires. I went to lucky star in BW center. They wiped the dirt off the rims and tires and reset the bead and all is good now. It took another business to clean their mess. On the plus side, they are on punctual. read more

I wasn't super happy with my latest visit here. Came in for an inspection, and was told both my rear brakes lights were out. It's very possible they were, and I'll give them the benefit of a doubt, but I wish I had checked myself before coming. Not sure how common it is for both brake lights to go out at the same time and conveniently when I was due for inspection. Luckily they had the bulbs in stock and I was all set, at an additional charge of course. Again, I know it truly could have been the case, but I can't help but be a little skeptical. The other part I wasn't happy about was I thought one of my tires looked low, and asked them to check the air pressure. I assumed they did, but sure enough my tire pressure monitor light popped on first thing the next day. It's held fine after filling with air, so I'm pretty sure they never checked them. On the positive, the inspection was very quick, I was quoted 30 mins and it was more like 20. read more

I would not recommend this place. I went there after work since my usual auto repair center was closed. I had a small nail in the tread of my tire about 2 inches in from the sidewall of the tire. When the technician first looked at it he said to fix it with a plug it would have to be more towards the center of the tire and also that the tread was getting low so I would need a new tire. The manager was the one who took the tire off the rim and the technician showed me the small finish nail head first in my tire. I was told again that it could not be repaired. I disagreed with him and he then showed me that the head of the nail rotated leaving as surface scratch on the inside of the tire and that this would compromise the tire. I disgreed with him on this as it was a scratch that was barely noticeable and would not impact the structure of the tire. I was then told that the puncture was too close to the sidewall to repair. It was obvious that they kept giving new reasons why they would not fix it. Then I was told they could not fix it since Sullivan Tire would be held liable if anything happened. I told them I would sign a waiver if they would put a plug in but they said no. I have had tire punctures fixed in the past at different places and I have never had an experience like this where the shop is just trying to sell a new tire instead of fixing a tire that is fixable. The next day I took it to the place I always go for my repairs and they said it was not a problem for this tire to be fixed and that I have plenty of tread life left on the tire. The nail was removed and the hole was plugged and it is perfectly fine now. I should have known better to even think of going to Sullivan Tire. read more
