I have been frequenting this establishment for a couple of years now. There are multiple offerings…read morefor gun stores within 20 miles of my home but I choose to go to AG before any other. The owners (Robbie and Luther Lecroy) are seriously stand-up guys, they may not always have exactly what I am looking for but they always seem to find it! I choose to shop at AG because the Lecroy's are in the firearms business because they love it and live it, they pay the same attention to the folks with extensive firearm experience and the consumer that is just showing an interest in acquiring their first weapon. The shop owners truly believe in the second amendment and want to make certain that anyone that has a desire to own their own weapon and protect themselves has the opportunity to do so without being taken advantage of. I highly recommend AG for all of your firearm needs, I guarantee that regardless of your knowledge of weapons you will be treated as a valued customer...Great gun shop with a truly awesome staff!

I bought a 12ga shotgun from this business about 2 months ago, Luther showed me how to change out…read morethe stock because it wasn't what I really wanted. After doing so a couple days later, I realized the gun had some cycling issues, so I brought it back to Luther, who said he'd send it to his gunsmith. I called/ stopped by trying to get an update on the progress of my gun at least twice a week for well over a month and a half. Always getting the same answer, "I'm waiting on Randy to call me back". So finally, I asked for Randy's info to see if I'd have better luck. When i contacted Randy, he knew nothing about my gun, but Said "Luther would give me Call". I waited for that call for the rest of the day. The very next day, I decided to stop by since I still hadn't recieved a call from Luther. At the store the next day, there was one customer being helped when I walked in. So I patiently waited for a good amount of time. While waiting, several other customers came in and were shown guns and given convo; meanwhile he's still too busy to talk to me. Only after interrupting him from doing the paperwork, (even though he didn't mind stopping that to show guns to the other customers) did he go to the back, bring my gun out, telling me that Randy had over looked it this entire time! And he just so happened to go by and pick it up yesterday, and instead of having Randy fix it. He just brought it back to the shop not repaired. Im nowhere near slow, he just never sent my gun off to be fixed, he just lied to me for 6/7 weeks about doing so.

It doesn't appear the owners ever respond to reviews so I doubt they'll ever acknowledge this, but…read moreanyways. This store had a used Desert Eagle chambered in .44 magnum for sale for $1,399. I asked to look at the gun and noticed that it was written on the tags "comes w/ 2 extra mags". A brand new desert eagle of the same finish and caliber is only $200 more expensive so $1,399 isn't a spectacular deal or anything but given the magazines aren't carried in many local stores and are $50 a pop I figured $1,399 for 3 magazines (the gun comes factory with one magazine and the tag said 2 extra) was pretty good so I went ahead and put it on layaway. (Their layaway policy is great here btw) I came back a little over a week later to pay off the gun and pick it up and once I've paid and gotten my paperwork done I see the guy that pulled it from the back is scrambling and looking around. He finally walks up, pulls the tag off the gun and just says "there you go". I say "hey, I know that tag mentions two extra magazines. If it doesn't have them can you take $20 per magazine off so I can go buy a couple of new ones". To which he responded "nope, I thought it had another magazine but it looks like someone snatched it and the gun is still priced accordingly". Ok? To buy two of those magazines I'm going to spend another $80-$100 that I previously wasn't planning on spending. I feel pretty displeased especially since this place offers less than 50% of what your gun is going to sell for when they buy it from you. So they definitely had the margins to cut $40 off the price for their mistake instead of trying to hide it then telling me it was still properly priced. I will likely still shop here but not with the sale level of trust I had before, and will likely check out other stores before coming here
