Friendly staff course was in great shape. Some of the best conditions I've seen. Pace as good too.

I play this course regularly. The staff is very friendly. They do work very hard to maintain pace of play. Which I love. I have played to many area courses that take over 5 hours when busy. I have been playing this course for 40+ years. Anyone that says that the people and the course are not great, are morons. It is such a nice course and is always in very good shape (especially considering the number of rounds played there). For the money it is an great value. Oh wait, I don't want anyone else to find this hidden gem. It really sucks here go play other high-priced courses! read more

On August 11, 2023, myself and a business colleague decided to meet at your course as it was about halfway between Milwaukee and Madison. We were paired with two older gentlemen who were an absolute joy to play a round of golf with. I can go on and on about almost all of the staff/employees I had an interaction with, with one exception: your course ranger/marshal. The "gentleman" on duty as the course ranger that day was nothing other than rude, arrogant, and, if I may, a complete jack@$$. ("Gentleman" is a very loose term for this person.) On or around the third hole of the day, the ranger approached our group (which had been waiting to tee off) and said we were on pace for a 4 hr 45 minute round of golf. After doing the math, we were on pace for a 4 hour round. Just a few holes later, he came around yet again to harass our group regarding this fictitious "slow play." When we got bottle-necked on hole 18 (the 9th hole for the day) the other groups indicated that they had been harassed by the ranger in a similar manner. This harassment continued throughout our round. This all culminated in your ranger coming around for probably the 10th time in the matter of 13 or so holes, with only a few holes left for the day. He, again, complained we were playing slow after he saw members of our group have a bad shot. This escalated to your ranger screaming at our group to pick it up and swearing at our group. He went so far as to nearly drive his golf cart directly into that of mine and my playing partner and threaten to remove the key from our cart if we didn't play by his fictitious rules. Moreover, after speaking with the beverage cart employee, she said that this is not the first time something like this has happened or that she has had people complain about the ranger harassing them. I can honestly say I have never had such a horrendous experience with a golf course, and I can confidently say that, so long as that individual is employed as your ranger (or, frankly, in any other capacity), I will not come within sneezing distance of your establishment. It is a shame that you allow one employee to tarnish the reputation of your course. read more

For the money, this is a pretty decent course with some challenges, and some nice greens. Not the longest course in the area, but fun to get around. Show up early. This is golf, showing up 5-10 mins is not on time. Course was in good shape, carts were fast and the starter was on everyone to stay on time and play well, I liked that. Good bar inside, complimentary tall water cups and plenty of snacks, food options ready to go even at 730am on Sunday. read more

Its a pretty good course but sometimes its not in the best condition. The roughs aren't even like grass it's very dry ground and grass taht feels like hitting off of concrete. Certain times of the year it is a good course to play. Greens are faster than some other courses in the area. I would say it's one of the easier courses as well since it's pretty open and gives you a lot of room to spray, there's only a few holes we're this ain't the case. Staff is polite. We played behind a bachelor party of drunken golfers in a six some. Loud Country Western music playing in their golf carts. I could not even finish my round on Saturday. 5 hours for 15 holes then I had to leave. How can you let that happen? I called the clubhouse and said I wanted a marshall out to where we were. They did nothing. Today was a terrible experience for a golf course that is really nicely designed and cared for. A real disappointment Tee time was 124pm on August 12th. If you have the Green Card with the $20 option, don't waste your time - they will not honor it. Given they physical card, they still wouldn't do good by it. Don't waste your time - go somewhere that honors the promised discounts. read more

Great course but.... we played on a nice day when many people were golfing and we're all bunched up. Ran into our other 4 some in front of us. The rangers came out and told us to pick up and skip the hole, we declined because we paid to play all 18 not 17. At that time he became angry and threatened to call the sheriff and have us all fined $300 for trespassing. Not a professional attitude to have in the game of golf. read more

The club house is easy to show up, pay and play. The course has a nice variety on the fairways, some wide open and some tight. The greens were in good condition and the ball rolled nicely. I played a solid round today a few pars and lots of bogeys. I always enjoy this course because it plays quickly. A beautiful day with great herons crossing the fairways. read more

One of my favorite courses in the area! The course is always in great shape and can't beat the price. We always have a great time out their outings. The bar makes some good drinks too! Worth the short drive from Milwaukee! We will be back! read more

I had an excellent experience here. The staff was very friendly and willing to help in all ways. We got 13 holes in before it started raining and they issued everyone a raincheck for the holes we didn't get to play. The course is in great shape and I was extremely satisfied. Not a bad track overall, but they need good help in the pro shop and bar/restaurant area. There had been rain earlier in the morning before I got there, so there was a delay in starting everyone. Very little or nothing was communicated about exactly when they would start, I just happened to noticed the woman working behind the bar was taking people's green fees. Funny - or not so funny thing: I'm in my mid 40s, but could pass for mid-late 30s, and the woman, unsure whether or not to apply the senior discount, asked me if I was over 60... Later at the turn, I had to look for someone to help me so I could pay for a sandwich and soda. Again, the course was fine. Tee boxes, greens in good shape and fairways and rough well defined. The service was not particularly rude, just absent. read more

The most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a golf course. This course is overbooked and overplayed. I made a tee time, showed up 10 min. early. The starter is kind of freaking out and going on about how busy they are. He says he has to put me with another group. 4 guys on carts who are not happy with a fifth wheel that is walking, I don't blame them. I have no idea what is going on as we are starting on 10, they have already teed off and there are carts stacked up behind waiting. I tee off and am catching up to the guys on the carts. They are on the green I'm a 30 yard pitch shot from the green. Starter comes racing up and says you have to keep up with them or you need to leave. They are on carts and already had teed off. I literally would have had to run. I got my money back from the rude woman at the pro shop and I will never ever go back to this S-hole. Don't take a reservation if you cannot fulfill your end of the deal. There is a reason they only have 2 stars. read more

We will never return to this course. Twice in the last month we visited and were treated poorly. The staff is the most unfriendly my husband and I have ever encountered in our 35 plus years of golfing together. The first time we wrote it off to a bad day, but the experience repeated itself tenfold this last visit. The staff was very terse, unsmiling and unfriendly. The service was very slow and poor. My husband had used a Groupon credit towards golf and was quoted one cost, then charged another. The next day I called to speak with the GM Rick, he was rude but I let it pass to figure out how he came to the charge he placed on my credit card. His explanation was that the charge was correct and continued to talk without supporting his charge. I stopped him to tell him he was being rude and there is no reason to be because all I want to know is where I am misunderstanding his math. After discovering the charge was "valid" for the most part (but misleading as to how the credit works, I have to contact Groupon to see if he is correct or just excusing his mistake) I gave him an opportunity to apoligize for the rude banter, but he didn't. For this reason alone, my husband will golf at other establishments do to the condescending tone and poor customer service from that GM at the course. Try being decent to people in the future Rick, it goes a long way !! read more
