Not Ochoa Electric. They explain their pricing for my electrical issues from the start so I wouldn't be surprised. I give them a 10 out of 10 for their overall great service. Gave me some excellent tips to pass on to Bert my very experienced handyman. I can easily recommend Ochoa Electric to anyone. And, they are pretty darn good on RVs as well having worked on other RVs in my Park. My problem started 2 days before their arrival. I have a very experienced RV repairman (Bert). He told me I needed to have a Licensed Electrician to check out my electrical problem (that is one of the things about Bert I love...he is not ashamed to tell me when I need to hire a pro). They understood everything I shared with them about how my electrical problem unfolded and what Bert thought we needed to check. They went to work checking out everything I showed them and what Bert told me to pass on. They found the problem. It was a simple problem of loose connection(s) in an older RV. It is great to work with professionals!

I got three bids from highly rated companies and Kensington electric was my clear choice based on their detailed inspection and thoughtful plan for the rewire. These older homes present challenges and mine was no different. When you start tracing back old wiring on a vintage house that has had multiple owners, you always run into complication from past remodels and work done by previous contractors. Joe and his guys worked through these issues, figured out solutions and options and completed the work with precision. They work hard and are always on time and professional. Joe has been in this business a long time and brings a level of wisdom to the game that will help you solve problems such as how best to future-proof your house, where to best set up security cameras and what color temperatures work best for specific lighting. He answers his phone when you call and is always attentive and focused on customer service. Kensington Electric checks every box. I'm so impressed!

Julien came out and initially quoted $300 for the breaker replacement. He also mentioned that it was a possibility that even if I replaced the breaker it may short again if there was something wrong with the spa (something SRP did not mention). After some additional investigation he replaced my GFCI breaker for $500. He was friendly and efficient as well as honest.

Service Pro ultimately got the job because the quote was fast, the price was competitive, and their professionalism stood out. Mike provided two detailed, itemized quotes--including specifics like wire gauge and breaker size--so I knew exactly what was included. Other quotes I received were far less transparent, which would have required a lot more back-and-forth. When we ran into equipment constraints related to my older electrical panel, Mike offered thoughtful options and worked within the panel's safety limits rather than immediately pushing an expensive upgrade. Nate, Jeffrey, and Brock completed the installation. They were fast, professional, and very clean in their work, neatly hiding the conduit and load-management equipment and making sure everything was working before they left. Highly recommend Service Pro.

Not a simple job. They proactively suggested relocating the exterior panel into the garage, which was a smart call, and (the owner) did solid stucco patching on the old location. Some finish work (paint, drywall) was left to me, which was expected and agreed-upon. No issues one month out. Would hire again without hesitation.

His bank kept rejecting my payments and I ended up having to pay his wife's zelle account (??)  Long version: Romo took almost 2 months to complete my project of replacing the subpanel, adding a 20 amp circuit, and repairing any damaged drywall. He and his team cancelled/ no showed on my tenant more than 5 times and was super unresponsive when scheduling. My tenant had to live in a home with holes in the walls for almost a full month before it was finally repaired. The business operates very shadily. I have asked for a receipt for my payment numerous times, and he still has not provided one. I had to pay him in 3 separate transactions via zelle because his bank kept rejecting my payments. I'm not sure how this business has a 4.8 rating on Yelp, but will not be trusting those reviews from now on.

After trying a few recommendations from friends (all said they couldn't fit me in for a week), I tried Stuart from the yelp reviews. He came to my house in 45 minutes and was super nice and professional. He explained the fees over the phone and made sure I was ok with them. He worked hard and had a nice personality. I honestly don't know enough about electrical work other than to say that he made sure absolutely every outlet worked before the job was complete, he discovered what all our mystery light switches went to, he fixed power to another area my husband had long wanted outside but it hasn't worked in the seven years we've lived here. He definitely charged me less than he could have as far as time is concerned. Everything works perfectly and he made me feel like if I had any questions or concerns after that he would be available. My whole family liked him and both my mom and I have saved his contact as our primary electrician moving forward. This man got off a boat on a Saturday night to come look at my house and make sure nothing was concerning. He was amazing and I totally recommend him!
