They were however more concerned about the message than the medical care needed, stating they always answer their phones. Being more concerned about addressing the not answering phones comment than the actual medical emergency really says a lot about the staff. And they really don't answer phones because not even the insurance company was able to get through to them. Guess I really touched a sore spot there. Dr. Hsu should consider getting new staff unless this is actually a representation of her as a professional. But I've never actually been able to see her so I can't speak on her as a doctor. Such a shame. Update: I called multiple times so yes I did leave a voicemail with my information. Not only did I spend all morning trying to get a hold of you, but my insurance company tried too. They were met with no response as well and were very concerned that they changed my PCP immediately. When I got a call back it was because I upset you and I was never asked what medical support I needed. I was met with a "we always answer our phone, what do you mean?" So of course I was upset because I finally get a call back and it's regarding my comment. By this point, I had already changed my PCP and got an appointment for my medical situation. So, yes, I no longer needed your services. Regardless, I hope you can do better by your current and future clients. If you are unable to met demands it might be time to hire more hands or get a better system. My experience doesn't need to be everyone else's.

They're extremely helpful and efficient and return phone calls when you need them to answer a question or concern. Her office is like a Beverly Hills office in that it's a beautiful office and you'll walk in looking for the Nordstrom's piano player. It's that nice and extremely clean. Trust me you'll love Dr Hsu and her great staff.

He asked me what was wrong, why I was there, and who referred me. After I provided the information he requested, he asked me to follow him to the reception area. The receptionist then told me that a referral would be submitted for a procedure. I did not understand why this procedure was necessary, and no one explained it to me. I later received the authorization letter. I have called the Dr's office so many times and no one answers the freaking phone. In addition, the staff have been very rude and extremely unhelpful. Dr. Mecum explained everything very well and succinctly. He answered all my questions. He's been my doctor for over nearly 15 years. One tip: When you have a colonoscopy (or any other medical procedure), be sure to ask ahead of time for an anesthesiologist that is covered by your policy. I was nervous because I hadnt had a colonoscopy in almost ten years so I was behind in having the procedure. But thanks to Dr. Shindell performing my colonoscopy in a manner that spared me of all the worry, stress and apprehension that goes along with the daunting thought of going through a not so pleasant but mandatory experiences, I weathered the storm. And a few days later i got the good news from the office receptionist Kary Guzman, who was the first to tell me, with a congratulatory tone in her voice, that my results came back favorably and that I didn't need not return for another 7 to 10 years. I told Kary she was my Angel because she lightened my cares and made my day. Thank you Dr. Shindell for taking good care of me. It's apparent to me that she genuinely cares people. Not knowing where to turn or whom to trust, thankfully a dear friend referred me to Dr. Patel. During my first appointment, Dr. Patel listened carefully to my concerns and understood that I was not only in severe pain but also nervous about being in a doctor's office. She quickly put me at rest with her compassionate and positive bedside manner. After her very thorough examination, she scheduled multiple tests. These tests identified serious but treatable GI issues, a hormonal imbalance, and a large ulcer that I was completely unaware of. Within a short time after starting treatment I was a newer better version of myself. Now, months later, I continue to improve and truly appreciate Dr. Patel for her incredible ability and willingness to address my medical issues.
