I kept asking her why wouldn't she just call me and email me about the price change but she had no answer . She apologized and said she quoted me too low initially and she told me if I get life insurance then my amount will be reduced . She sent me documents to my house to sign , with no information , no booklets . It was very strange and a huge red flag . She told me "well I didn't want to send you too much mail " ?? When I went to her office to discuss the life insurance she told me she made ANOTHER mistake and quoted me too low again. She seems very sweet but she try's to take advantage of younger people and she doesn't take accountability for her mistakes . Keep searching for a different agent ! From the initial assistant picking up the phone and transferring me to Joseph who did an excellent job explaining all coverage options for both my Home and Auto insurance policy premiums as well as specific details and adjustments I could make for my personal policy he was very thorough. I chose State Farm for their very competitive price for my Home Owners Insurance and am very happy with them! Joseph was actually even able to lower my premium a little further after calling back and making a minor adjustment and sent me an email copies of the updated premiums very promptly. The company lost all the accounts because of their poor service. Always a different person to deal with, they don't communicate with each other and struggle when dealing with multiple policies. Last month our home insurance was cancelled due to my neighbors overgrown trees affecting our home. When the problem was corrected, the "new rates" were ridiculous. Found a new company, so much cheaper, faster and transparent. Since Farmers they didn't renew our home insurance, I told them know I was cancelling my other policy, I then got an email offering to re-evaluate our coverage. No thanks, Found better auto prices as well with another company. Stay away from the greed and incompetence of this family business. To top it off my "final bill" ($216) for the last month of coverage came from a COLLECTION COMPANY. Guess they didn't like losing the accounts. Shows how vindictive this insurance company really is. Because we pay our bills, Nothing was affected with our credit. I simply choose to be smart and pay for services that are earned, instead of an office who just wants to sit and collect. I've looked up to see if he was licensed to sell and thru the California Website and found out Juan Martinez is not licensed to sell, that grew suspicion, so I looked up the license number for the company and saw only one person is licensed to sell and it wasn't Juan's name, upon further research I found out Juan Martinez is an illegal in the country with no permit to work in the USA. I have already filed a complaint with the department of insurance and I will follow up with complaining to the better buisness bureau. yes it's my fault for trusting this man, I should of known it was a red flag to meet him to pay
