We had a slab leak, and the kitchen floor was jackhammered between a wall and an island. Kevin meticulously cleaned the area and placed new travertine, including some very difficult cuts to avoid damaging the molding and cabinets. he is a perfectionist, easy to work with, and does only quality work. I can't be happier with Kevin's nice job. I converted an old fiberglass shower-tub combo to tiled walk-in shower. Kevin is kind and very honest. I was so much impressed by his perfectionism. Price was reasonable too. He cleaned up the work site every day before he left. He had a family emergency in the middle of the job period, but he tried his best to meet the schedule. Since he works alone and does everything from demo to installation except plumbing by himself, the job would take a little more time than other installer's. If you are looking for someone with a meticulous eye to lay your tile, Kevin is your guy. I can not say enough about the amazing job he did on our remodel. He did our floors, kitchen backsplash and fireplace surround. Our floor was like a skate park full of ups and downs and dips...and when laying wood plank tile, that type of floor is a nightmare! But Kevin laid the tile perfectly! I love our floors! And our kitchen is anything but square, straight, or level. Kevin took the time to use three subtly different grout spacers to slowly level the tile up the wall for a better look. And it came out beautifully! You would never know that the ceiling is not as straight as the counter or cabinets, etc. He's an artist in that regard! The fireplace was a whole other beast to tackle, since our firebox was crookedly set in the wall and not level. But Kevin came up with a great idea to create a box frame of tile to that would offset and hide those problems. It's absolutely stunning! Kevin is incredibly honest, trustworthy, and straightforward about his jobs which is a perfect fit for a perfectionist living in a not so perfectly built home. I used Kevin to complete the extremely difficult glass tile in my kitchen backsplash. Some of the tile was done by another installer. The previous installer was just OK. He left a mess and never finished. What he did do looked unprofessional. Kevin came in and gave me a very fair estimate.
