The flooring and baseboards turned out terrific, it really changes the look and feel of the space. We had picked out something that was not one of their usual suppliers, but that was no problem. They really work with you to get exactly what you want. All the workers were friendly, skilled and left our house clean at the end of the day. My thanks to everyone that worked on our project. Chuck finished the kitchen up and did fine work with our plumbing which required some intricate work to accommodate our layout. Of the many options they had the best ideas and the qualified workmen. Mike Garst considered the project from every angle, brought in members of his team on 3 occasions to suggest approaches. When they opened the dry wall we found the supports were rotted & had to be replaced. They built a roof support, replaced damaged wood, added cement inside the walls higher than outside level to prevent leaks, then filled a beautiful solid cement floor and repaired the drywall. Better than good as new, this room boasts a superior foundation that gives me confidence. Every member of Mike's team is punctual, profesional, knowledgeable and courteous. When work was done, Mike came and, on his own account, adjusted the sticky sliding door so it moves smoothly. Mike's boss, Brian, also came several times to look over the project. I feel very fortunate to have had MASTERCRAFT take on this hugely complex project and bring a disaster to a happy ending.They explained options, patiently answered my questions and were courteous and pleasant throughout. The quality of their work is outstanding. I will absolutely hire them again - next project plumbing!

When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. I am so happy I chose Daniel at Precision to do the tile in my newly added master bath. I found him on Yelp after my initial contractor had to be let go because they were doing a horrible job. What a big difference your contractor makes. Daniel gave me a detailed quote from the beginning and was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the whole process. We had to re-do all the shower walls, shower pan and plumbing that the previous contractor had done (crappy job). Daniel was able to see that the plumbing was not done correctly before we closed up the walls and thank goodness for that because I was able to have a plumber fix it before we proceeded with the tile. It would have been a big disaster, if not. Daniel saved my bathroom! I feel he cared about how my bathroom came out, just as he would if it was his own bathroom he was working on. He works very clean and his tile work is AMAZING! Such a perfectionist. As am I. He has a good eye for detail. I noticed he lays it all out in his head before he proceeds and also made some good suggestions that helped my bathroom turn into exactly the look I wanted. He walked into a mess and took the time to turn it into what I had originally envisioned. I highly recommend Daniel and will only use him for any tile work I need in the future. He actually helped my finish the rest of the bathroom after the tile, because I didn't trust anyone else to work on it. He is extremely skilled and takes pride in his work. Daniel Varela of Precision Tile did a fantastic job replacing tile in my 2nd floor bathroom. He gave me a reasonable and affordable estimate; picked the tiles I selected from Home Depot; helped me with the selection of grout color and installed the tiles with out-most craftsmanship and professionalism. He covered and protected all the steps and carpets going to the bathroom and cleaned up after his installation. At a personal level, Daniel is a craftsman with integrity and a caring personality. The name "Precision Tile Installations" perfectly fits. Daniel is a true craftsman, his precise tile setting is beautiful and done correctly from scratch coat to sealing the tile and grout. I wish we would have had him do our first bath remodel. There is such a difference between his work and what we had done a couple of years ago in another bathroom. He really knows what he's doing. We were interested in refreshing our…read morefireplace in our modern home and had always dreamed of having a black marble fireplace instead of just white drywall. I Yelped and found Del Mar Tile and Stone and checked out photos and crossreferenced everything. He had stellar reviews everywhere. John the owner came out within a day or two (on a Sunday!) to look at the project and gave me a quote the next day. The project involved tiling on the fireplace surround and also into a cutout for our TV and the vent for the fireplace above. The quote was fair for the amount of work involved and I thought, hey if he's already there maybe get him to re-do tile in one of our bathrooms (a much smaller project)? I texted him a video and measurements of the space prior to him working on the space and he was able to quote the bathroom without coming back! Super cool. The quality of work is amazing. I am a detail-oriented, visual person and with the beautiful black marble with white veining that we chose (with a fluted pattern!) I wanted to be particular with what tiles we should use and which we should not. He was more than accommodating and we have a beautiful, beautiful fireplace now and a gorgeous bathroom. Not everybody could do this job. It was technical as a fireplace surround. The tile contractor had to use the right mortar and he had to level it out just right. As we homeowners know, rarely is your house completely true and flat and square everywhere and the tile had to be done to accommodate all of the imperfections in our visually perfect house. The corners and leveling had to be perfect. He had to carve into drywall to make the corner of the fireplace square. It was crazy and it would have taken me decades of experience to do this myself (enter John). The cutouts for the fireplace and the TV surround had to be perfect. The bathroom turned out flawless as well. John is an awesome person and was so kind and courteous to our pets (he told my dog Thatcher she was beautiful) and was respectful of other contractors we were having at the house at the same time. His son Hunter and his other employee Carlos who worked with him were conscientious, clean, and all three were just all around good people. Please see photos! They do not do the fireplace justice!
