I called and James scheduled me for the very next morning. He arrived on time, was kind and thorough and QUICK! He even took the time to teach me the keyless lock versus just tossing instructions at me. Great company that I will continue to use. Thanks James!!! #shoplocal

I am an avid reviewer in hopes that yelp is fair and honest. Should this type of editing continue, I'm gonna have to think differently. Now let me get on with my encounter. Am I ever lucky to have found a locksmith who is not only extremely knowledgable but also beyond fair with pricing. Oh lest not forget, will take out all stops to make sure your back on the road in no time. Who may this be you ask???? LOL ............ James Cryer with A Quick Key made what was a complete abhorrent week into an amazing and fulfilling day!! Why do I say this ... well lets make a long story into a paragraph or less lol. During a flight to Phoenix then LA I realized only after returning to my car in Dallas, I HAD NO KEYS!!!! Waited week to to hear back from every place I had been, only to come up empty handed. Contacted Lexus for FOB and programming for my RX350 and was informed it would be $800 ($725 for FOB and $75 to program) Oh and also thank you LEXUS for kindly stating it is waste to purchase ANY ONLINE FOBS as 99.9% of them do not work and I would be charged the fee of $75 anyway, should this be the case when I bring it in. SERIOUSLY YOU GUYS AUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!! Now the amazing man who speaks the truth and only the truth so help me god!! The one and only James of A Quick Key............lol. Called to explain my situation and was reassured ANY ONLINE FOB THAT IS OEM has never NOT worked for him!! Bought one for $130 and James was especially kind enough to go out of his was for just a small gas fee and meet me all the way at the DFW airport. Mind you, I was late and James still greeted me with a smile and explained what he was going to do. Within 15 - 20 minutes I hear what is music to my ears!! WHHHATTTT!!!YESSSSSSS!!! My baby is back on the road for $130 plus and EXTREMELY SENSIBLE FEE from James. Guys to go anywhere else is ridiculous. I have experienced the exuberant fees locksmiths can charge because most of the time you have no choice. I can say from experience....Wether you have a choice or not ....A Quick Key is the way to go. The company is honest, kind, knowledgeable, and extremely fair with pricing. Thank you again X 50,0000!! ... You rock!!

Where to begin?? My ignition cylinder went out in the car and the internet told me to call a…read morelocksmith. I called on a weekday afternoon and spoke with what sounded like a very confused and nervous elderly woman. She kept asking me to repeat the nature of the problem and asked me what she should write on her notes. This company is supposed to be located in Waxahachie but that can't be true. I told the lady I was stuck at the HEB parking lot in Waxahachie and she said, "Ok, you're in Tallahassee, what's the address?" I said, "No, I'm in Waxahachie." Despite telling me she was in fact located in Waxahachie, she had clearly never heard of HEB before and needed the address and the zip code. She kept me on the phone for at least 15 minutes just trying to figure out what I was talking about. She said the tech would call me back. Five minutes later I got a call from an 844 number. It was a woman speaking English through a very heavy Indian accent that was difficult to understand. We went through all the same information again and she told me it would be several hundred dollars and she was going to send the tech. When I said I'd have to think about it, she said, "What time will you know? If he comes out, you'll be charged." I just said five minutes so she would let me off the phone. My husband told me to call back and tell them we don't need them. I called back and a different woman answered who had no accent, and she didn't know anything so she had to connect me with the tech, even though I just said I wanted to cancel the whole thing. I waited on hold and a man with a very thick Indian accent answered. When I said I wanted to cancel, he kept trying to convince me. He said he has all the info on my car and location and that it would be $820 for him to fix it. This is without even SEEING the car! I said there's no way I can pay that and he literally said, "How much are you willing to pay?" My husband hung up on him. This had to be the strangest/worst experience I've had with any type of customer service over the phone. Extremely frustrating since I called because I was already in a jam. I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with Ben's 7 Day locksmith was. I think the name comes from the fact you have to spend seven days on the phone with them. A different local locksmith came and replaced the cylinder for $250, parts and labor, AFTER trying everything else possible to fix it first. Huge thumbs down.
