Come to get away from it all and leave refreshed with 2 new friends who are the hosts and more…read moredepending on how many folks are staying there too! This cute bed and breakfast is up in the mountains where we were in the clouds in most mornings during our stay making breakfast time magical. And speaking of breakfast, every night you fill out a form indicating your choice of a sweet or savory meal. Arrive at your table hungry because the portions are fit for a king (huge!) and oh so tasty! (Dinner can also be ordered for an additional fee but again, king sized portions and so delicious! ) The Inn is located in Chatsworth, close to Fort Mountain and the cute town of Ellijay is on the other side of the mountain. There are so many outdoorsy places to visit near by, a long weekend is not nearly enough time to visit! We really enjoy our time visiting with Bill and Nicole and highly recommend a stay here!

We had the best long weekend getaway at the top of the mountain! We stayed in the Prince Madoc room…read morewhich had a huge stone fireplace and the softest sheets on the planet. The smell of fresh laundry is exactly what you want when you turn down the sheets at a new place-- so clean and cozy. I wasn't sure about our private bathroom being across the hall, but it was honestly great. Bathroom was very large & somehow also cozy [I think it was the warm heat coming out of the floorboard vents each time I stepped out of the shower lol]. Breakfast each morning was a 10/10! Bill is a boss in the kitchen. The homemade granola and lavender peach 2nd course were our two favorite things! If you plan to take it easy at the b&b one evening, go grab takeout brisket from Trinity in Dalton or truffle shiitake pizza from Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza and bring it back up the mountain. One of the best nights we had was eating pizza and playing giant Uno in the common room. [the giant Uno is in the basket to the left of the common room's fireplace!] Be sure to take a left when leaving the b&b so that you can see the INSANE views!! The road down the mountain to the left is SO beautiful! Things to Consider: -A more size inclusive option for the robe. My husband looked so cozy in his robe and I was disappointed that the size large was a bit too small for me. Having a few plus size robes on hand might be something to consider. Having a spot in the room's notebook that mentions larger robes are available upon request would help curvier guests feel that much more welcome & included :) -A way to text or send a message to Bill or Nicole when we have a quick question :) Thanks so much for having us Bill & Nicole! We have already convinced some friends to come and visit you guys!!

I have had the privilege of visiting this wonderful city getaway for more than one occasion (school…read moretrip, weddings, & ministry retreats). This site is large and very easy to reach as it is less than 2 hours from Metro-Atlanta. The grounds have both a camp site with cabins and standard hotel rooms (a bit older which adds to its charm). There are many activists such as zip lining, canoeing, hayrides, hiking and nice trails. A definite quaint getaway for rest and relaxation. There are multiple conference rooms, free WiFi and an on-site kitchen for catered meals. The only con I experienced on the last trip was a lack of monitoring of inventory of food for quick replenishment on the buffet line, no signage to label ingredients in the food, no gluten free options for bread or desserts. This isn't unusual so, I adjusted my medals by just adding more fruits and veggies. The Fall is an exceptionally beautiful time to bifurcation. I'll be back soon!!

Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. - The location! Right off of I-75, it's in a convenient spot within walking distance to a couple of chain restaurants. - Our queen room suite was huge, and the beds were plush and comfortable. The cons: - The elevator makes a horrible screeching/squeaking noise. Doesn't really inspire confidence in the cleanliness and security of the property. - The pullout couch in the suite was so uncomfortable it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. There was barely any padding between the wire frame and the sheets. - The advertised breakfast is not an included buffet, but an à la carte menu. Most items are in the $11-$18 range. The main problems with the hotel seem to be due to age. Although the service is great and the lobby is lovely, the outdated rooms with old furniture and fixtures are due for an update.

The hotel was extremely quiet and clean. The rooms were clean and the bed was warm and inviting. True to the Hilton theme, we enjoyed our stay throughly. It was a quick overnight stay, precisely what we needed. No complaints other than the extra local taxes added when you register, but I'm sure Hilton has no control of that. Otherwise thanks for the great hospitality, you never disappoint!
